Jeff: Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at this 25 foot long 30 Amp Furrion Marine Power Cord Extension. Now this cord is going to let you connect your RV or your boat marine style, 30 amp power plug to a 30 amp receptacle. If you notice on the ends here, the ergonomic side grips on the plug and on the connector are designed for easier connection of this cable. Do you notice on the female end has this nice threaded coupling ring on it to thread onto your threaded portion of your inlet to provide a secure weatherproof connection.

Also, if you know that it has this tethered protective weatherproof end cap, that when it stopped being used, you can put it in there, protect the connection or the terminals.This is nice and flexible for simple storage. It is made from a heavy duty marine grade material, and it is UL- and cUL-certified. The plugs themselves are made to exacting NEMA standards. The locking male plug right here is a NEMA L5-30P, and the locking female connector over here is a NEMA L5-30R. This does universal fit with other brands.

You can see it's a nice yellow color. It makes it very easy to see. Specs again on this: the length is 25 feet; amperage is 30 amps; voltage, 125 volts. And the cable type, the cord itself, is constructed of three 10 gauge size copper wires, and the cord type is STW. And that stands for service thermoplastic weather resistant.
