Today we're going to take a look at the Furrion gray round 30 amp marine power inlet. Now this round marine power inlet will let you hook up to shore power using your power cord. It uses a quick lock cap to help keep the inlet dry, and on the very front they have a nice Powersmart LED here on the cap that will indicate when power is present at the plug. It does use a marine-grade fiber-filled polyester outer casing. They do use nickel-plated brass connectors to help resist corrosion, and when you go to install your wiring, you just unscrew this, take it all the way off, run your wire through there, make your connections, and then slide this back up and just tighten it down.This is a universal fit. It's compatible with other brands.
It is a bolt-on installation. It does come with the rubber gasket to give you a nice good seal, and this part is tested to marine UL 498 and CSA 22.2 standards. You can see it is a gray color. Amperage on this is 30 amps. Voltage is 125 volts.A few dimensions on this.
Overall dimension is going to be right at 4", total depth from the very front to the very back right at 3-7/8". Then again I had mentioned the quick lock cap. You can see to open it, it does require a little bit of pressure to open it up. Once you get it open, you can plug it in, and then when you're done, you just push it, and you can hear it click and lock into place.That should do it for the review on the Furrion gray round 30 amp marine power inlet.

Had a short in my old inlet. This inlet much more water resistant than what I had and what I found in a local shop (which I later returned). I had some questions about the inlet hole diameter and asked a question on etrailer. got a response in the next business day.

The measurements were exact which was important due this being a replacement part.
I was concerned about the existing holes in my RV and did not want to drill any more holes. The inlet worked perfect and seems to be of equal OEM quality. In the future when I need parts I will shop here again. I received my part in four business days.

- Replacing A Discontinued Furrion 512401 Plug In An AirstreamThe Furrion 512401 inlet in your airstream has been discontinued and unfortunately we do not have literature that will tell us the hole spacing for the discontinued plug. What I can tell you is that the Furrion Inlet # F30ITRGS is designed to be universal and has a hole spacing of 2-1/4" on center. You can compare this measurement to the current inlet and see if any additional modification will be required.

The diameter is 2-3/8 inches. Grab the closest hole saw you can get. If you cant get that exact size hole saw and had to choose between a smaller or bigger hole saw I would go with the smaller size and take a file to shave down the hole until you get a nice tight fit. the seal is about 1/2 inches wide so you could get away with a whole saw a little less than 3 inches if need be....
