Video Transcript for Let’s Check Out the Inno Gravity Ski and Snowboard Carrier for Modular Quick Base System

Hi everyone. It's Evangeline here at Etrailer and today we're working on the Inno QuickBase system with the ski and snowboard carrier. If you're not familiar with the QuickBase system, this is going to be different bases that you can put into your hitch or on your roof and use different accessories with those bases. Our specific accessory here is gonna be our Inno Gravity ski and snowboard care, along with the adapter specific for this base. I've been working with the quick base system for a bit now, trying out all those different accessories. I personally like how fast it is to just switch between those accessories for those different adventures.

Now for the ski and snowboard carrier, it does have some extra things you do have to be mindful of when using it because having your skis and boards on your hitch does make this a lot more convenient to reach to access, but it also exposes them to the elements a bit more compared to if they we inchesre on your roof. Just for the sake of the review, I did drive around with this in the down position just so we could see how much mud and debris does kick up with it in a down position. Usually people would carry their boards around with them in the tilted position because that does provide a little bit more protection over those skis and boards. But for fun, I did drive around with them in a down position just to really see how much the debris does get kicked up. So those are things you mindful of.

Let's take a look at some of the features and measurements to see if this will work for you and your equipment as well as your vehicle. Now, if you are going to carry it around in the tilted position, I flip the board back around so you can see with the bindings up how much space you might have behind your vehicle, with it at this angle we are going to have a distance from center of hitch pin hole to the closest point of the base and that's gonna be seven and a half inches. Now that measurement is there because that's about lined up with the top of your ski and snowboard carrier. So different skis, different boards, different vehicles will have very different experiences, but hopefully this is a good baseline for if you and your bindings are going to work. In my specific case, I'm even able to fold this all the way up against the car, but I don't see that as being possible for a lot of other vehicles.

With how this works with your different bases, while you do have locks on the Inno Gravity carrier, there are also locks on your base. So something with the system is that you don't have the assurance that everything's going to be keyed alike. So do be ready to potentially have to carry on to multiple keys for if you wanna secure everything. Inno Gravity has their very popular memory mount clamping system where you just set the tension the first time. It makes it so easy to attach this to your roof rack crossbars or to your quick base system just like that.

Now, something that's a little bit extra to the gravity is gonna be the adapters for your quick base. So these are very easy clip-on adapters that allow you to attach this via snowboard care to the sides of your quick base. If you already have the carrier, you can purchase these adapters separately here on our website. These adapters work with any of the Inno quick base bases, so whether it's the hitch tray or the roof tray or the roof frame, this is gonna work with all of them. So if you're curious about this product or if you wanna see how any of the other components of the quick base system work out, we have tons of videos and pictures and descriptions to help you with that journey. But right here, right now, this is a look at the Inno Ski and Snowboard carrier for your quick base system, which consists of the Inno Gravity plus the quick base adapter, and you saw it at etrailer.com. My name's Evangeline and I hope you enjoy the journey.
