Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Taylor Made 24 inch long galvanized mooring buoy rod. Now, this buoy rod, it'll extend through the center of your mooring buoy so that you can secure your boat in the open water. Now the mooring buoy is sold separately. We do list that on this product page as a related product and I just wanna pop up an insert there, you can see a picture of what that buoy would look like with this rod going through it. Now this does provide connection points for your mooring chain and your pennant line.

It is a hot-dipped, galvanized steel which is sturdy and corrosion resistant. And on the very bottom here, if we zoom in. You can see there's a four inch long swivel that'll turn on the bottom of the rod. And the reason it does that is prevents the mooring chain from twisting. Now it has the large washers right here and the lock nut here that'll secure your buoy to the rod.

Overall length of this rod from here to here is gonna be 24 inches long. The diameter of the rod is a half an inch and the swivel right here at the very bottom, it is gonna be four inches long by two and a half inches wide.
