Today we're going to take a look at the Aries light bar mounting brackets for Jeep. These are going to be roof mounted and they come in a quantity of two. So we'll have one to go on either side of our Jeep and basically this just allows you to mount up a 50-inch light bar above the windshield on your Jeep. The light bar is sold separately. We have a lot of options here at etrailer.com, so definitely check those out and see which one is going to work best for you.As far as our brackets, they're going to contour exactly to the side of your windshield, so it's going to have a really nice, almost factory look once they're installed. They're going to be made of a welded, solid steel.
And they're going to be made of stainless steel, so they're going to be strong as well as rust resistant. There is a carbide finish on here to help protect from rust as well. We'll have two bolt-on, stainless steel cover plates at the top. It's just going to be a bit of a little added flare and stability for our light bar.As far as the installation, it's going to be pretty easy. We just have six bolts, three for each side, to mount into our Jeep in factory holes that are already there, and we have our six washers and six facers to help us get that installed.
Pretty easy to do. It's not going to take too much time. And then mounting up to our light bar should also be pretty easy. There'll be these slots on either side to mount that into.Again, this is a no-drill application. It's going to be a vehicle-specific fit.
As far as those fits, it's going to fit the '97 to 2003 Jeep TJ and the Jeep Wrangler, and then from 2004 to 2006, it's going to fit the Jeep TJ and the Jeep Wrangler, and that's for limited and unlimited. Now as far as the Aries light bar that is designed to go with this, again that is sold separately, but for that specific part number, that is going to be AA1501278. So if you want to pick that up to go with your light brackets, be a good time to do so.Overall these are just going to be really nice brackets to have on the top of your Jeep and they're going to look really nice once you have them installed, which shouldn't take you too long.
