Cool-colored light - especially that with a high color temperature - promotes driver alertness, as opposed to warm-colored light, which promotes relaxation. Color temperature is based on chromaticity, which refers to the quality of a color rather than its luminance. A bulb with a color temperature greater than 5,000 kelvin will produce cool-colored light, whereas a bulb with a color temperature between 2,700 and 3,000 kelvin will produce warm-colored light. Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the CIPA EVO Formance Spectras 9005 Halogen Headlight Bulbs in the Ultra White color, and it is for a quantity of two bulbs. Now this part will include the two 9005 headlight bulbs. These are halogen bulbs, and it even includes two 194 wedge LED bulbs. Now the 9005 halogen bulbs right here, these will replace your vehicle's factory headlight bulbs, for improved brightness and increased visibility.
This bulb will give you a nice, crisp, white light, similar to that created by the HID systems, and it provides a nice unique look, compared with the yellowish color of the standard bulbs. This does have high color temperature which improves visibility, promotes driver awareness. Color temperature on these bulbs is 5,000 Kelvin. The brightness level will meet or exceed that of the OEM bulbs, but it also maintains a safe temperature. The brightness of it is 950 lumens and this will not damage your car's electrical components.
These are a nice high-quality construction, yields long-lasting, dependable bulbs and they are a fast, easy installation. You just plug these into your vehicle's existing headlamp sockets. Now, one note I do wanna mention. On halogen bulbs like these, when you're handling you do not want to touch the bulb itself with your bare hands, 'cause what'll happen is, it will transfer oil from your skin onto the bulb, which could cause failure of that bulb. So what we do recommend is when you do install these, we recommend for you to wear gloves when handling the bulbs.
Now these here, these are the two replacement Ultra White 194 wedge LED bulbs. Now these are off-road use only. These do not meet the DOT, or Department of Transportation, specifications. The types again, this bulb type is a 9005. The bulb life is 800 hours and the wattage on them is 75 Watts at 12 Volts.

Great product, excellent customer service. My bulbs came sooner than expected. After installation, I realized that 1 bulb had no beam but would light. Quietly call customer service, spoke to Susan, she place a replacement order. I expected a single bulb, but I received a 2 bulbs . Problem was solve, truck look great and I'm happy. Would recommend to any and every one.

These lights were everything I hoped them to be! Easy install & work like a charm. Only thing is, the two mini lights that came with it were not blue, but white. I still like them, just wish they were the same blue color! I've only had them a few days now, but no problems so far. Good Buy!

There were two sets of bulbs included in the purchase. The headlights are more of teal color, I would not say blue. The second pair are parking lights. These are not blue, they are white. The parking lights are LEDs and not compatible with my vehicle.

Product is good. Almost has a green tint to the lights, which I enjoy. However, the brightness could use some work....or maybe I just need to adjust my lights a bit more. Would buy again.

I was curious to see what these would do. After using them for a weekend, the factory bulbs are going back in. The headlight bulbs, though they produce a white color light, are in fact dimmer than the factory installed Phillips bulbs. The 194 bulbs, again whiter as far as light color, are significantly dimmer than the license plate bulbs that were factory installed.
