Clayton: Hello, everyone. Clayton here at etrailer.com. Today we'll be taking a look at the Master Lock brass padlock with an inch and a half long shackle. Now this padlock is going to be designed for fences and cabinets, but it can work for other applications. And with it being brass, it's going to be corrosion resistant. So we don't have to worry about it giving us trouble over time.
It is going to be made out of a hardened steel so it's going to be hard to cut and pry open. Now, whenever we're ready to install it, we can grab our keys provided. One nice thing is they do provide two keys, so if you are to lose one, you can have a backup. Now we can take our lock, put it onto our trailer here, lock it down, take our key and walk away. This thing's pretty easy to use.It's a really good lock.
I don't have to worry. It's going to fit around a lot of different openings. Our keys are going to be inaudible 00:00:48 so unfortunately those aren't rekeyable but this lock does offer a pick resistant design and our mechanism internally. So this lock is a economy version. So you're not going to get a lot of those extra add-ons that you would with other locks, but it's still going to secure anything you might want to lock.
It's going to resist any weather from corrosion, grime, anything like that pretty well. Personally, I would go for something a little bit different, maybe a little bit sturdier, but if you are locking up an internal cabinet on your camper, or maybe just a lock on your fence, this is going to be a great option. So that's pretty much going to do it for a look at the Master Lock brass padlock.

These locks are a great choice for a medium duty application. The long shank on these locks make them extremely useful. Good keys, not flimsy like many no name locks. I strongly recommend this product.
