Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a brief look together at this Curt Securelatch Adjustable Pintle Mounting Plate. This hitch mounted adapter plate is going to give you a mounting point for your Curt Securelatch Pintle Hook, and of course that pintle hook is sold separately. This does have a weight capacity of 20,000 pounds, and this shank is going to slide into your vehicle's two inch hitch receiver. And I do wanna let you know that this can only be used in the drop position as I have it here.

And the slotted bolt plate is going to let you easily customize the height of your connection point. You're just going to slide the pintle attachment along these channels and then tighten it with this hardware to lock it into that perfect position. It's gonna work best for your application. Let's take a look at some measurements, beginning with our mounting plate here. As you can see, looking at the overall width, we're sitting right at five inches.

And then the overall height from bottom to top, we're sitting pretty close to 9.5 inches. Now lemme give you some other measurements that might prove helpful for you. I'm gonna measure from the back of our plate to the center of our hitch pin hole. So let me line that up there so you can see it. So we are sitting right at 6 3/8 inches long, again from the back of that plate to the center of that hitch pin hole.

And then from the center of that hole to the end of our shank, right at 3.5 inches. This is constructed of a sturdy steel construction. So it's very durable, very tough. And this features a durable teridium gray powder coat finish that I think is going to hold up really well for you. So it's gonna be very durable, but I think it's gonna look pretty good too on the back of your vehicle.

I do wanna point out that the hitch pin and clip or hitch lock are sold separately from this. So if you don't already have something that's compatible, you would have to pick that up separately. I would recommend taking a look at our hitch lock options though, just as to make sure that your investment here is secure on the back of your vehicle.
