Now this will mount inline between the supply and your motor home LP gas lines to provide regulated gas pressure. The propane regulator will maintain a constant gas pressure from your campers propane tank, it's a two stage which ensures a nice smooth consistent flow of gas, and it is a horizontal mount design in other words it will be mounted this way, you can see your vent right here would be facing towards the ground. The inlet right here has a male POL connector and the outlet on this one has a three-eighths inch female NPT connector. I like the design of the regulator. Its similar to the old one. But with the black handle grip it allows me to hook up to any propane tank. With out the use of wrench. Makes life easier. Good product

I have a small trailer I have been renovating. The original regulator was old and I replaced it and the supply hose about a year ago. This one looked closest to the one that was on there. It was a fairly simple install and it is easy to switch out tanks with the ferrule you can just tighten by hand. As always e-trailer is great. i love their videos.

  • Recommended Replacement for a Marshall 290-1 Regulator
Hey Kevin, to replace your Marshall 290-1 regulator you can use the Camco Horizontal 2-Stage Propane Regulator w/ P.O.L # CAM59333 or you can use the # CAM59313 for a vertical regulator replacement. Both of these regulators are 2 stage, rated for 160,000 Btus, and maintains a constant 11" w.c propane pressure.

  • Recommended Regulator for a 100 lbs Propane Tank
For a 100 lbs propane tank you'll want to use the Camco Horizontal 2-Stage Propane Regulator item # CAM59333. It has the P.O.L. fitting which is used on 100 lbs propane tanks like yours. At the end of it is a 3/8" NPT connector which you'll want to match up with whatever fitting is inside your food truck. I have no way of knowing what size fitting you're connecting to or how far away it is so I can not recommend a hose.

Thanks for the pictures! I have a better option for your setup based. It is the Camco Horizontal 2-Stage Propane Regulator w/ P.O.L - 160,000 Btu/Hr item # CAM59333. The Camco will work as a replacement for your Marshall 260 Horizontal LP regulator and it includes a P.O.L. connector. It has a 3/8" NPT inlet connector so you will need the MB Sturgis Propane Hose Assembly - 1/2" Female Flare Swivel x 3/8" MPT - 4' item # 100383-48-MBS.

  • Does Camco Automatic Changeover 2-Stage Propane Regulator for Dual Propane Tanks CAM59005 Fit POL
Camco Automatic Changeover 2-Stage Propane Regulator for Dual Propane Tanks Item # CAM59005 uses a 1/4" SAE inverted flare for the inlet and a 3/8" NPT female for the outlet. To use it with POL fittings an adapter or hose would be needed. I have linked the fitting adapters we have below. We do have regulator # CAM59333 which does connect to a POL but it is not an automatic changeover type of regulator.

  • Hose For Camco Horizontal 2-Stage Propane Regulator w/ P.O.L CAM59333
The hose is going to depend on what you are using the Camco Horizontal 2-Stage Propane Regulator w/ P.O.L - 160,000 Btu/Hr # CAM59333 with. It has a POL fitting for the tank, and for the hose, one end will be 3/8" Male NPT to connect to the regulator, and the other end will depend on the fitting you need for your appliance. For example if you needed a 1/2 Inch - Female Flare fitting you could use the MB Sturgis Propane Adapter Hose - 3/8" Male NPT x 1/2" Female Flare Swivel - 4' # 100383-48-MBS. I...

  • Adapter Fitting Needed To Connect A Regulator To A Propane Tank
Typically a POL fitting will connect to your RV's propane tank and RV regulators normally have a 1/4" NPT inlet so the Propane Tank Connector Fitting - Soft Nose POL x 1/4" Male NPT # 37207-30075 you were already looking at would be the correct adapter fitting. If you have a different fitting type on your regulator or propane tank and can't identify them then please send in some pictures and I can identify them for you. • Option For Replacing Old Regulator
Hello Ken, thanks for getting in touch. A bad regulator would certainly explain the issue you described, especially if it is an older setup. The MB Sturgis regulator is a great option for a new 2 stage regulator, the right one just depends on how yours is mounted. For a vertical regulator use part # 108220, for a horizontal regulator use part # 108221.

  • Propane Regulator for a 100 lb. Propane Tank to Run Two 70,000 Btu Fryers
For your 100 lb. propane tank you can use the Camco Horizontal 2-Stage Propane Regulator w/ P.O.L # CAM59333. This regulator is rated for 160,000 Btu/hr and has the P.O.L. fitting to hook directly up to your tank. You would then need a hose to run from the regulator to your supply line. Since you mentioned 1/2", a hose like the MB Sturgis Propane Adapter Hose # 100383-48-MBS has a 3/8" fitting to fit in the regulator and a 1/2" female flare swivel on the other end.

  • Replacement Propane Regulator For a 2021 Forest River Rockwood Freedom Camper With Single Tank
For your 2021 Forest River Rockwood Freedom 2318G camper with the single propane tank I recommend the Camco Horizontal 2-Stage Propane Regulator w/ P.O.L # CAM59333. This will allow you to attach directly to the tank without additional hose pigtails needed. It will need to connect to a 3/8" NPT male supply hose into your camper. The 2-stage regulator is superior to the single stage to ensure that you have the correct pressure and volume going to your appliances.

  • Recommended Replacement For A Marshall Brass Co, Model 230 605H LP Regulator
We don't carry the Marshall line of regulators but you can replace your Marshall 230 - 605H regulator with the Camco Vertical 2-Stage Propane Regulator # CAM59313. From what I can find on the 605H it appears to be a dual stage vertical venting regulator so the # CAM59313 would be the appropriate replacement.

  • What To Look For When Replacing Your Propane Regulator
Hi William, You have a dual-stage horizontal regulator like the Camco # CAM59323, but with this being a residential setup you'll need to check the fitting size and BTU rating in order to determine the correct replacement. There's a much higher demand for residential use compared to RV use so you'll likely need to get a replacement at your local hardware store to get the correct fitting size and BTU rating.
