Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a quick look at the JR Products Propane Hose. Now of course, a propane hose is designed to allow LP gas to flow through so you can power up your propane powered appliances. When you're looking for a hose to meet your needs it's important to focus in on a couple of things. The first thing is going to be the length. Obviously, you want it to be able to reach from point A to point B, to get that gas to flow through.
This hose is two feet long. It's a rubber hose. So that's going to help resist any sort of kinks or cracking, anything like that. It's got an internal diameter of 3/8 of an inch, so that's going to be plenty of room for that LP gas to flow through so you should be able to power all your appliances all at the same time. The second thing you want to look for to make sure that it's going to work for your needs are the hose fittings. So you can see we've got two different fittings here.
We've got a 3/8 inch male NPT fitting. This is going to be what fits onto your regulator most likely depending on your setup. The other end is going to be a 1/2 inch inch female swivel, SAE fitting. That swivel just means that it can move like that and it's going to make it a lot easier to get this connected. You're not going to have to twist the hose to get it mounted in place.
You can simply twist that and it will tightened down onto it. You can see, you might not be able to see, on the inside there this is an SAE flare fitting, so you want to look for that in your setup to make sure that that is going to work for you. This hose is UL, as well as CSA approved. So it's going to hold up to those high quality standards. You can trust that it's going to hold up for you.Now keep in mind if this is not the hose that you need, maybe you need a different length or a different connection points, I'd invite you to come take at our other options here at etrailer.com. Our goal is always to help you find the product that you need to solve your problem so you can get back to enjoying your time outdoors. That's going to complete our look at the JR Products Propane Hose..
