very well. Extremely pleased

worked as advertised

by:

Great product at a great price. This is the only vendor I found that had this extra long length.

by:

I'm sure the hose is quite good, the rating of three out of five is because apparently the darn hose on my 2019 Forest River 17BH travel trailer has a 3/8 inch hose femail fitting (5/8 thread size)on one end and the other end that goes into the gas distribution bar has a male (NPT?) fitting with a thread size 1/2 inch, which according to the table sent to me when I was ordering the hose, is a 1/4 inch NPT male fitting. Who knew? Now I have to find a 3/8 inch female to 1/4 inch male adapter or a new 3/8 inch hose with female 5/8 inch thread and male 1/4 inch fitting with 1/5 (0.540) thread Not sure either even exists.

REC'D LPG HOSE IN GOOD TIME AND GOOD SHAPE. INSTALLED IT NEXT DAY AND ALL IS WELL. I PAID A COUPLE DOLLARS MORE THAN [online retailer] WITH THE PRICE OF SHIPPING, BUT REC'D IT ABOUT A WEEK QUICKER. INSTEAD OF WAITING FOR [on-line retailer] I'M GOING CAMPING!
I'VE BOUGHT HERE BEFORE AND WILL DO SO AGAIN.

  • How to Connect Two 40 lb. Propane Tanks Together
Yes, you will want the same equipment to connect (2) 40 lb. propane tanks together as long as your 40 pound tanks feature a standard ACME or P.O.L. fitting (which most do). You will want an (1) Automatic Changeover RV LP Gas Regulator # 37207-30395. Then you will also need (2, one for each tank) MB Sturgis Propane Pigtail # 100833-12 and (2, one for each tank) Camco Propane Cylinder Gas Gauge and Leak Detector # CAM59023. You would also need a hose coming from the regulator to the your...

  • Parts Needed For Connecting Two 100LB Propane Tanks To a Furnace
You will most likely need the MB Sturgis High Capacity Two-Stage Auto Changeover Regulator # 888001-MBS for going to your furnace. Be sure to verify with the furnace manufacturer that a 11" WC regulator that delivers 450,000 Btu P/HR is compatible with that furnace. With this auto changeover regulator it will draw propane from one tank until empty and then switch over to the 2nd tank automatically so you won't have to change anything to the 2nd tank. To connect your 100lb propane tanks...

  • How To Hook Up Generator to 100 Lb Propane Tank
The propane regulator requirements will be specific to the generator, usually in the form of a BTU rating so you'll have to reach out to the manufacturer of your generator to see what they recommend. The Excess Flow 2-Stage POL RV LP Gas Regulator part # 37207-30375 will attach directly to a 100 lb propane tank and can flow up to 225,000 Btu's per hour. You could then use the MB Sturgis High Pressure Propane Hose part # 100040-144-MBS to direct the supply to the generator but you may also...

There are three ports on the MB Sturgis High Capacity Auto Changeover Regulator 108260. The two 1/4" female inverted flare inlets will attach to the propane tanks with a hose like the MB Sturgis Propane Pigtail part # 100575-12-MBS and the single 3/8" FNPT outlet will attach to the propane manifold on the trailer with a hose like the MB Sturgis High Pressure Propane Hose part # 100040-144-MBS. I have attached a review video of both propane hoses for you. I was not able to reference the...

  • Correct 12" Propane Hose for Connector with Almost 3/4" Thread Diameter
Thanks for all of the info! It sounds like you're needing the 12' MB Sturgis Propane Adapter Hose # 100040-144-MBS which has 3/8" Male NPT x 3/8" Female Flare Swivel ends. Propane fittings can be confusing because they go by the inner diameter of the hose as opposed to the diameter of the fittings directly. The 3/8" NPT fittings measure 0.675" for the thread diameter (see attached) which sounds like what you've been measuring. Hope this helps make it less confusing! I'm attaching a link...

  • Do I Need a Separate Low Pressure Regulator for a Camco Olympian Wave Heater
Yes, you will need to use a low pressure regulator with the Camco Olympian Wave 8 part # CAM57351 but that is what the Camco Horizontal 2-Stage Propane Regulator part # CAM59323 is. Therefore, if you have the heater tied in after the above regulator then you won't have any issues. In order to attach the Camco Olympian Wave 8 to the manifold on your trailer you are most likely going to need the MB Sturgis High Pressure Propane Hose part # 100383-36-MBS for 3' long, part # 100040-72-MBS...

  • Determining Which Propane Hose Connects Jayco 267 BHS To RV Hot Water Heater
RV Hot Water Heaters typically use a 3/8" flare fitting for gas, so something like the # 100040-144-MBS which has the 3/8" Female flare to attach to the water heater will connect there, but there's not really a standard for the other end. This hose is 12' long and has a 3/8" Male NPT for connecting to the camper. If your Jayco 267 BHS doesn't have a 3/8" Female NPT hookup for the hot water heater, then let me know what it has and I can find the right hose for you. I went ahead and attached...

  • Can MB Sturgis High Pressure Propane Hose be Used on Trailer
The location of where you installed the MB Sturgis High Pressure Propane Hose # 100040-144-MBS would dictate how well it would perform under a trailer. If you had it directly behind a wheel and exposed you'd be asking for a problem. If you installed away from a wheel and not exposed you'd be fine in that regard. Now there are several laws and regulations on how propane lines should be ran that you'd need to check out as you have to consider how things will behave in an accident.

I took a look at your DuroMax 13,000 watt generator and it appears to have a 3/8" male flare on it for the propane line to hook up to which you'll want to confirm using the included help article. As long as that's the fitting you have you will need the following parts to hook up your generator to dual 100lb tanks: (2) pigtails # 100019-36 (1) regulator # 37207-30395 (1) supply hose # 100040-144-MBS You'll need to figure out your own mount to secure the regulator, but it'll automatically...
