The "Right" stuff!

Great hose! very, very well made. Top of the line fittings. I'm using it as an extension for my propane generator. If taken care of properly, this hose will last a lifetime! Also, etrailer had the best price, and I shopped around.

Couldnt be better. A+

by:

Looks great, havent used it yet. Took awhile to get it as the manuf was delayed but they kept me informed and offered options. It was worth the wait.

by:

Hose is exactly as described and works perfectly. For me it is new, I don't know about long term reliability but I see nothing that would cause me to think it won't last a long time.

I'm using it to extend my patio heater to a larger tank. The male brass end fits fine though the hole in my patio heater. Many extension hoses for sale have a gauge built in which prevents this.

Made in USA.

by:

Quality of fittings looks good. Hose is made in Canada. Valves at both ends prevent gas from escaping under all conditions. Can be connected end-to-end to prevent dirt from entering and thread damage during storage.

by:

Back ordered for a bit but got it today

  • Can Green Knob POL Propane Connector Connect to Black Fitting
Yes, the green connector of the # 100914-180-MBS will connect and work great with the black type 1 that you have now. There is a pressure rating difference but for your application it would not be a problem.

  • How to Use an Exterior Propane Tank on a Trailer with Dual Interior Propane Tanks
I have exactly what you need to hook the exterior propane tank up to your trailer. For this, you will want the MB Sturgis Sturgi-Stay T-Fitting w/ Hose for Type 1 Valve part # 103614-MBS. The red female type 1 connector on the t-fitting will attach directly to one of the interior tanks and then the green female type 1 connector you just took off that tank will then attach to the male type 1 on the t-fitting which is directly adjacent to the red female type 1. • Can MB Sturgis Dual Type 1 Tank Valve Extension Hose be Used for Portable Tank for Camper
You can definitely use the Extension # 100914-180-MBS to do exactly what you're talking about. Another option you may be interested in is the MB Sturgis Sturgi-Stay T-Fitting w Hose # 103615 instead. This comes with a tee and a 6' extension hose with a quick disconnect fitting. What this means is that you install the tee in-line with your current propane setup. • Can You Hook Up Two 30-lb Propane Tanks To A Firman 10K Watt Generator?
This has been asked before, and according to Firman you actually can't use two propane tanks, as you'd need to use the regulator provided with the Firman 10,000-Watt Portable Generator # 333-H08051. Using two propane tanks would require the use of a different regulator with automatic changeover. I have also included a product review video for you to check out as well.

  • Parts Needed When Upgrading RV Propane Tanks to a 100 lb. Tank
When upgrading your propane tanks to a 100 lb. tank the only thing that should need to be changed on a typical propane set up is the supply hose that goes from the propane tank to your regulator. You would need a hose like the MB Sturgis Hose Assembly # 100202 which would connect your tank to the regulator and then from the regulator you should have a hose going to the the RV that distributes the propane out to your heater, stove and water heater. If you have an auto change over regulator...

  • Need 10 Foot Propane Extension Hose
It looks like you want a 10' hose that connects to a 20 pound tank (with a type-1 connector) on one end, and a heater with a POL female connector (with regulator) on the other end. The first problem I see is the use of two low-pressure regulators. That will most likely result in pressure too low to operate the appliance. A really good solution would be a MB Sturgis # 100914-180-MBS which would connect your heater to your 20 pound propane bottle without the need for any additional pieces....

  • Parts Needed To Run Multiple RV Campers Off a Single 1,000LB Propane Tank
To feed your 4 RV's you will need to create a manifold to run hard black steel lines to each RV. You will need to include 4 of the MB Sturgis Single Stage Propane Regulators # 108072 to knock the pressure down from the 1,000 gallon tank you have. These will protect the hard lines from filling with liquid propane and keep the pressure at a safe level. At the camper end of the hard steel pipe you can install the MB Sturgis Propane Adapter Fitting # 204129-MBS with a shut off valve. This...
