  • MB Sturgis

Hook up an auxiliary tank to your RV to provide propane in case your primary runs dry during long campouts and get extra versatility in your propane system. Provides you with a quick-disconnect propane outlet for cooking and a compatable supply hose.

  • POL fittings install in-line between your tank valve and pigtail to your pressure regulator
  • 2 Model 250 quick-disconnect ports let you hook up and disconnect without hand tightening
    • When valve on your ASME tank is closed, one port can function as an inlet for an auxiliary tank
    • When valve on your tank is open, can provide propane to 2 appliances
  • Shut-off levers on quick-disconnect ports allow you to easily shut off gas supply
    • Ball valve prevents disconnection when lever is in the "on" position to keep gas contained
  • Supply hose with male quick-disconnect and male POL fittings is included to attach auxiliary tank
    • Close valve on your RV's primary tank, attach POL to backup tank, and attach to Sturgi-Stay
    • Designed for high-pressure and high flow without going into bypass mode
  • Durable brass fittings approved for LP gas only
    • UL and CSA certified
  • Made in the USA

Specs:

  • Temperature range: -40 F to 350 F

Make camping more fun and relaxing. Moving your RV once you've gotten settled at the campsite is a real chore. No one wants to have to pack up, unplug, and go refill the propane tank, just to come back to the site and set everything up all over again. This Sturgi-Stay T-fitting lets you connect an auxiliary cylinder to your setup using the included fill hose. As a result, you can run your appliances from the propane in your cylinder rather than using up the LP gas from your RV's tank. When you run out, just refill the auxiliary cylinder and hook it up again.

Quick Disconnect Ports

QDs

The Sturgi-Stay features 2 quick-disconnect ports. The first port connects to the fill hose from the auxiliary cylinder. The other port provides a connection point for a small, portable appliance or propane tree. This way you can power a grill, heater, or other accessory without needing to use a 1-lb throwaway cylinder.

Both quick-disconnect ports let you connect and disconnect hoses without any tools. Simply snap a quick-disconnect hose into the port and it will stay locked in until you release it. To remove the hose, just pull back on the collar of the port. The ports also feature gas shut-off levers that allow you to completely cut off the propane supply to that port to keep gas contained when no hose is attached. Be sure to move the lever to the "off" position before disconnecting the hose.

I saw this on a neighbors rv and looking it up I found it on your site.
I wanted It because we stay in RV parks and this makes It easy to attach my 20lb.propane bottle.
It was easy to order and fast service. I liked the tracker that I could follow the delivery.
I also appreciate the follow up email.

Best thing Ive bought. It works great. I also bought a gauge to let me know when the tank is low so I can switch it easily.

by:

Initially I had difficulty locating this part. I found it on etrailers website which stated it was in stock. The order process was quick and I followed the shipping with the tracker etrailer sent. The part arrived a day early, it was the correct part and was installed with minor modifications. It works well from initial use. Will have to see how durable the part is during travel. It appears well constructed and is easy to use.

by:

Just need a better way to get the product to the customer, cause the usps is ify at the wrong time.

by:

Awesome. Very easy install. Works exactly for my needs.

by:

PURCHASED THIS PRODUCT TWICE. ONE O-RING LEAKED, HOWEVER, I THINK IT WAS THE OUTDOOR WEATHER CONDITION WAS THE CAUSE OF FAILURE.
I WOULD BUY THIS PRODUCT AGAIN.

by:

This is a great product, at a good price, from a superior store. Installation was quick and easy. (took longer to leak-check everything, than to install) Now I don't have to worry about propane delivery at some of our extended stay destinations. The fittings, connections, and hoses are all first class.
Thanks ETRAILER, for having great videos, pictures, and descriptions on everything!!

Never fails. Every time I call etrailer, my call is answered rapidly and I’m always instantly speaking with a subject matter expert. Every time for at least the last 10 years. This time, no different. I needed to return a ladder I mis-ordered, plus purchase a propane tee for a new motor coach, for which I was basically clueless. Karen handled each request as a pro. Started my refund process; Got my ladder in the mail back to etrailer; Stepped me through the propane tee options, found name the precise setup I needed, got it in the next days mail and followed up every step of the way until I received it. Awesome.

Photo is of the Sturgi-Stay tee installed on the new coach.

by:

As usual, another great product. I recommend etrailer to friends and family. Great how to videos. You won’t be disappointed.

Excellent

by:

Had to return item and reorder (my fault picked the wrong part). The friendly staff processed my request, went smooth with an easy exchange. Installation went smooth. Really solved the inconvenience of taking the RV out on an empty LP tank. Thanks etrailer.com

by:

Excellent product! Wanted a single port quick connect but found this. I'm glad I did and the price was very good as compared to others I found. This allows me to stay longer and use two external tanks while saving my on board propane in the motorhome. I can leave one connected and go fill the other.

by:

Product was received on time. A better design than others like it. It was easy to install on my Georgie Boy. Don't buy the cheap ones on other sites, some of them have male fittings for the hose which break off.

by:

Very nice tee with protectors. Quick connects are tight and I love the safety locks. Shipped quick and was well worth the price.

by:

The product was better than I expected, easy to install, and arrived in a short time. I have never been disappointed with Etrailer!

by:

Easy to install. Like the quick disconnect. Great addition to my motorhome.

by:

Went together without any problems. Prompt shipping and quality fittings.

by:

The product had an excellent description and pictures of use, so there were no surprises when I received it.

by:

Fast delivery and material was good quality. Will install on the motorhome this weekend.

by:

IMPRESSED WITH THE QUALITY OF THE ITEM. DIDN'T LIKE THE DELAY USING THE USPS TO DELIVER. A FULL DAY LATER THAN UPS WOULD HAVE BEEN.

by:

Looks good and well made (USA). Just waiting to install.

  • Propane Fittings to Connect 100 lb Propane Tanks to a Generator
Thanks for reaching out! Usually generators will have their own regulator that connects directly to the propane tanks so if this is the case you just need a kit like the MB Sturgis Sturgi-Stay T-Fitting w/ Hose # 103538-MBS that gives you the connections to 2 propane POL fittings. If the generator doesn't have it's own regulator then I recommend picking up the JR Products Automatic Changeover 2-Stage Propane Regulator # 37207-30395 and 2 POL pigtails like the 2' part # 37207-30635 The...

Then you will need a single stage regulator like # CAM59013 which will thread onto the 3/8 inch male pipe of your grill and then you will need an adapter like # 204129-MBS to thread into the inlet of the regulator and provide you a female fitting for the male POL that is integrated on the T-fitting. • Tee Fitting Needed to Connect Auxiliary 20 lb Tank to Propane System
What you need is a T-Fitting and auxiliary hose like what comes in the Kit # 103538-MBS, but your propane setup is a bit different than a normal RV so you'll need to get creative in how you're able to connect the T-Fitting. One end is a male POL connection, which will connect to your valve, while the other end has a female POL fitting. Then you have the 2 quick-disconnects and a hose that allows you to connect your 20 lb auxiliary tank. You can definitely use the T-Fitting # 103602-MBS...

It looks like there is 3/8" NPT fitting attached to the regulator on your propane tank like hose # 100040-48-MBS which has a 3/8" female flare fitting on the other end. Based on that MB Sturgis Sturgi-Stay T-Fitting # 103538-MBS would not work. I checked the regulator model and it is indeed a 3/8". It also has a 1/4" port on it so MB Sturgis Sturgi-Stay T-Fitting # 103610 is a possibility. The fill hose has a 1/4" male inverted flare and a POL connection on the other side to connect to...

You can use the # 103538-MBS with your setup. The T-fitting is rated for 250 psi and the hose is rated for 350 psi so there won't be an issue with the 125 psi from your propane tanks. MB Sturgis has high and low pressure systems and that 1/2 psi tag has something to do with their low pressure system. It isn't actually a rating for the parts you have they just don't bother to take it off when they put together the # 103538-MBS.
