Arrived as described. Disappointed to discover that etrailer.com does not carry mounting brackets for their regulators, but I welcomed the opportunity to dust off my diy skills. Note the bailing wire. Super pro! Also, if anyone knows what happens when one uses a vertical regulator horizontally, I'm all ears.

The difference between horizontal and vertical is that vent, but it's used to let condensation drip out of the regulator so you actually do want the vent to be facing the ground. Youll be okay for a while, but with that vent sideways it can eventually lead to regulator failure.

The problem I was having was orange flame on the stove. Looking on line it said that was caused by a defective propane regulator. We were using a humidifier, with the humidifier turn on we got orange flames with the humidifier turned off blue flames.

by:

Love that it works in freezing temperatures! Perfect for our off grid living!

by:

Exact replacement to what the camper came with. It works great with no issues

by:

The package arrived on time and undamaged. Nothing more to say great service.

by:

The mounting holes (4) in the back were not threaded, so we could not use them. We have tried this type of regulator from Camo and Mr Heater. They use the same type of mounting holes / plate and are cheaper, but they stop working after about 3 yrs. We have tried the Auto switching regulators, for two 100lb tanks, they don't work at low temperatures (<0F).

by:

Good company to buy from. (first time, but not the last) I think the gas regulator the camper came with never worked right sense it was bought new. First time it has worked right. The original one was mounted wrong from the factory. Parts got here quick, good packaging to keep from getting damaged in transit.

by:

I don't know much about propane but this regulator was just what I needed and it works perfectly fine. I was glad I could find one at etrailer.com

by:

400k btu’s an hour. Hard to beat that

by:

The propane regulator I ordered seems to be made of quality as does the flex hose. Will order again when I need. Thanks ..,....

..Merry Christmas to all.

by:

I ordered two items from Etrailer.com and received my order within days...fast delivery and savings make this my primary RC parts retailer.

by:

Working as designed. No issues with the installation. Be careful plastic black cap on the 2nd stage may be loose as was mine. a challenge to retrieve it where it fell, of course as is always the case. All is well

by:

Mounting holes not tapped. No thread cutting screws. No mounting template.

by:

I’ve had to replace my regulator twice. So far this one is working great.

by:

MB Sturgis is a quality OEM part on many rvs and the price is right.

by:

Best regulator of all .Will continue to work in very cold weather.

by:

Reasonable price, fast shipping.Has laster longer than original.

Works as it should!!

by:

It's exactly what I needed for the perfect fit. One year later, very happy with the product and would definitely buy again if needed.

by:

Good overall. Time will tell with dependability. As usual these days, not the exact same quality of what it is replacing.

by:

Got what I ordered on time good price great delivery what else could you ask for great experience!;

by:

Works as described and gets the gas to my appliance.

by:

Product worked as advertised and received in timely manner.

by:

product arrived in just a short time and well packaged
This is for a project down the road but I am confident it will work just fine.

  • Parts Needed To Add A Tee In To A Motorhome Propane System With Very Limited Space
You would still be able to use a tee like you're wanting to but you'll have to make a few modifications in order to fit the regulator in place again. The POL fitting # 204037-MBS on tees like part # 103606 can be removed and you can install a 1/4" male NPT to 1/4" female NPT fitting with a 90 degree elbow from your local hardware store to face the POL fitting vertical to gain some more room. From there you can use a vertical regulator like # 108220 and then connect back into your motorhome's...

  • The Difference Between A Single-Stage And Dual-Stage RV Propane Regulator
Both single-stage # CAM59013 and dual-stage # 108221 regulators will both reduce pressure down to 11" WC, but the difference is the stability of the output pressure. The single-stage regulators quickly reduce the pressure down and give you a bit less stable of an output, whereas the dual-stage regulators will provide a much more steady flow. I typically recommend dual-stage regulators for this reason. There are 3-styles that we currently offer, vertical # 108220, horizontal # 108221,...

  • Recommended Regulator And Adapter Hose To Connect To A 100-lb Propane Tank
I went ahead and checked to see what we have an unfortunately it does not appear that we have a hose that will connect your regulator with a 3/4" FPOL inlet to your 100-lb propane tank, however I do have another solution. I know it is not ideal, however to still be able to add a regulator to your 100-lb propane tank, I recommend checking out the MB Sturgis Vertical 2-Stage Propane Regulator - 11" Water Column Outlet # 108220 with the adapter hose MB Sturgis Propane Supply Hose # 100202. The standard water column output for RV propane regulators is 11" like the MB Sturgis 2-Stage Propane Regulator part # 108220 for vertical or part # 108221 for horizontal which are what I recommend. That said, you can adjust them higher to 12" by removing the black cap and turning the valve underneath. These can be hooked up to a 100 lb propane tank using the MB Sturgis Propane Pigtail Hose part # 100019-60 and MB Sturgis Propane Adapter Fitting part # 402258-MBS. We don't carry any CCST...

An E1 error code on your Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater - Gas - Automatic Pilot - 60,000 BTU # FR93FR means that it tried to ignite twice but didn't have the correct amount of gas pressure. First check to make sure your gas valves are fully open. If they are and you're still having issues it could indicate an issue with your regulator. The E1 fault on a Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater # FR93FR means you need to check that all your gas valves are open, that you have enough propane in your tanks, and that your regulator is working properly. If your regulator is needing to be replaced then you need part # 108221 for a horizontal option or part # 108220 for a vertical option. If you or the dealer has checked all of this and there are still issues then Furrion states there is a system fault and you need to reach out to them...

Technically there is no limit to how long a propane hose can be. However, the general consensus is that it should be no longer than 20' like the # 1000914-240-MBS. Any longer than 20' and you may experience problems with pressure and flow.

  • How To Connect A 30lb And 1,100lb Propane Tank Together For One Propane System
Hi Cara, What is the connection type of the 1,100lb tank? I'm assuming it should have a POL style fitting in which case you could use a tee like the # 103537-MBS and connect your 30lb tank with a hose. You can only use one tank at a time though and would need to close the valves to switch back and forth.
