Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this B&B Black RV Electric Cable Hatch. This molded plastic hatch supports your RV power cords and other electrical cables up to a 50-amp cord. And that open back that you already saw is going to allow for direct pass through. Before we go any further, let me go ahead and give you some measurements just so you can be confident this one in particular is gonna work for you. So looking at the outside width, we're sitting right at eight inches.
The outside height from bottom to top, right about 8 1/2 inches tall. And then turning this around to show you the cutout on that width, we're looking at about 6 3/8 inches wide. And on the height right about 6 7/8 inches tall. And then that collar depth about 1 1/8 inches deep on that collar depth. Now the access door is going to accept the cord when open, and then it's going to sit flush when closed to keep rodents and insects out.
You can see this door right here. You can just rotate that back into place to close that. And then as you can see, this does feature a key lock here. It does come with one key. The lock, it's gonna be very easy, as you can see that's locked.
And just to show you on the other side here what that's gonna look like when that's locked. So it'll just reinsert that key to unlock it. It's gonna be just that simple. And this hatch flange is going to secure to the exterior wall with the supplied hardware. You notice the screws, the heads of the screws are color matched, so they're gonna blend right into this black plastic.
This is made here in the USA of UV stabilized plastic, so you're not gonna have to worry about this plastic fading. It will also be resistant to impact and salt. So it's gonna do a great job of resisting the elements. That's going to be constantly exposed to. This is NSF, CSA, and TEI certified. It includes everything that you see here on my table before me. I think that's gonna wrap up our real quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy, thank you for joining me.
