Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a brief look together at this B and B Black RV Electric Cable Hatch. This molded plastic hatch is going to support your RV power cords and other electrical cables, up to a 50 amp cord. And the open back is going to allow for direct pass through, as you can see here. Before we go any further, let me give you some overall dimensions, just so you can be confident right up front, that this is going to work for you.
So looking at the cutout width, hopefully you can see that there, we are sitting pretty close to five and seven eighth inches wide. And then looking at the height, it looks like we're sitting right at about four and three quarters inches tall on the cutout height. And then let's give you some overall dimensions. Looking at the overall width from end to end, we're pretty close to seven and five eighth inches wide, and from bottom to top, six and a half inches tall. So this is obviously going to let you secure your valuable extension cords with the key lock here.
It does include the key, very easy to operate, insert the key, give it a turn, and then that's going to lock that door. So, and it is nice that the key is included with this and then it's gonna be very easy then to unlock this and swing it open to give you that access that you're looking for. And you might have already noticed this, but this also includes a Vermon door here that's going to accept the cord when it's open. And then it's going to sit flush when closed to keep rodents and insects out. So that is a nice addition that this has here, that Vermon door.
And then the hatch flange is going to secure to your exterior wall with the supplied hardware. I did want to point out a nice touch here is that the head of the screws are black to match this unit. So the screws are included, along with butyl tape that you can use to seal this into place and then run those screws through so you're not gonna have to worry about water or moisture getting through. This is made here in the USA of UV stabilized plastic. So this is not going to fade.
It's going to be resistant to impact and salt. It's going to be very strong, very durable, and really do a great job of withstanding the elements that it's going to be constantly exposed to. This is NSF, CSA and TEI certified. And again, this does include everything that you see here on my table before me, and I think that's gonna wrap up our real quick look today. I do hope that our time together was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy, thank you for joining me.
