If you are not comfortable using a voltmeter (or removing the charge from the start capacitor), youll want to make a service appointment with your local RV dealer to verify the installation. Print the pdfs below (warranty- questionnaire, warranty dealer information) and take them along with the RV to your local dealer. ASA does compensate dealers for warranty work as outlined in the dealer information pdf. You may be charged by the dealer for time spent investigating the installation.

Air distribution box has 3 slotted registers for maximum airflow.This is a great air conditioner with a decent price, easy to install and good option for replacing my Dometic. Etrailer made the whole process easy with fast shipping, good videos and descriptions of their products. It's a fairly easy DIY job but helps to know someone with a tractor to lift off the old one and lift up the new one.
Had our rv guy out the day after it arrived. Had unit in place in no time at all and had the camper cooled down within a couple hours. Waited this long to respond wanted to give the unit a good test period. After several 100 plus temp days of heat definitely happy with unit.set temp at 78 it's perfect.
I recieved the AC unit on time with no damages to the box. Installed it easily and started it up. So nice to have cool air in the trailer!

After a year my ac equipment works perfectly well, for my part I keep the air filter clean for its best performance, as an air conditioning connoisseur I like that the coils are made of copper, this metal is durable and resistant.
Installation was a breeze. Keeps our bedroom cool and runs as it should. Thanks for the great product.
Our RV was not prewired for 2nd AC so that was the hard part. This ac pours out the cold air and allows 5th wheel to cool down quickly after long hot travel days. Good instructions.
Overall I would say it’s a good replacement AC for the price.
Pros:
Price point - It’s reasonably priced.
It cools my 23ft camper very well.
Cons:
It only blows air in one direction, which happens to be towards the rear of my camper. The RV tech who did the job said it could only be installed in one position, which happens to direct the cool air towards the back. I use a small table top fan to direct the cooler air towards the front of the camper.
The digital thermostat in the AC seems to read about 5° warmer than the actual temperature in the camper, especially on hotter days.
I’ve noticed some apparent condensation dripping in the floor after turning it off for travel.
If I had known these 3 issues, I probably would have spent a little more money and bought a better unit.
Overall an easy install. Would have been 5 stars but the discharge is a bit noisy….maybe it would be quieter if it was ducted instead of a direct dump airflow

AC has been working great…it is a 2nd unit that direct dumps into the main room of the 5th wheel. The primary unit pulls from that room and distributes throughout the camper via the ducts. It’s been amazing camping on the sand in Destin in t he middle of summer and not having the units run all day…definitely cools faster after initial setup at any camp site….highly recommend. A 2nd unit, not necessarily this unit, although this one has worked as expected

The company done great letting me know about shipping and arrival date . Unit did sustain some shipping damage . Main frame base was dented. Install for a replacement unit was not bad . Had to rework the opening and adjust mounting brackets . Instructions were easy to follow . The addition of the optional plenum for thicker roofs was a time saver . Wiring was a bit of an issue . No where in the product description or instructions did it state about having to supply additional 12vdc . Most units use a step down transformer in the PCB . This unit does not come to find out . Could not figure out why the thermostat harness didn’t have 12v dc coming out . After a call to Advent , I was informed to supply 12Vdc from an outside source ! After this hiccup, the job went smoothly. Unit does a great job cooling, and is quiet. Thermostat is easy to navigate through. Unit looks nice inside and out . Just not sure how long the rubber bands are going to hold up retaining the filter in the Florida heat .

The unit has performed very well. No issues thus far . Still very cool and quiet.
I've put in 5 of these AC units so far (south texas) and have had no complaints. Fairly simple installation, but I highly suggest you use an RV Technician. Everything works great until it doesn't. Then you need to know what to test to determine if the problem is you or the product. Advent is cheaper than going OEM and will hopefully last the life of any used RV. The most important thing to making an AC last, is regular preventative maintenance. Something most people neglect. E-trailer is great to work with when ordering and helping you troubleshoot any issues over the phone. Delivery is just as quick as most other RV suppliers out there.
arrived mid winter in a damaged box with abroken cover and a dent on the unit. i paid to have it installed in the spring and it worked twice. my hvac guy tested it and could only pull 4 amps on the compressor. i ewailed etrailer and realized what a pain it would be to get it replacd. i bought a oem unit and gave the advent to the installer to see if he could fix it. no problems on oem

Great AC, I installed this as an add on to my camper and it's colder than the factory Dometic AC.
Customer service was excellent My air conditioner arrived ahead of time which I was very pleased with I wil Update you when I have it installed
Product is great, shipped fast and works amazing. Only reason for 4 stars is the instructions could be better.
All said, works awesome, and easy to install.
honestly havent opened the box for the unit yet but it came promptly and Etrailer was very easy to deal with.
Had to wait for stock but arrived quicker than expected.

Installed perfectly
But i made a stupid mistake and ordered a unit without manuel controls
My bad
So now i have to run wires to the wall for the t-stat to operate
Other then that its a five star setup
Looks like a nice unit and should be easy to install
I bought 2 of them works great and operates more quite than the the old one did only got 1 lnstalled so far can’t wait till the other 1is installed
