They work just fine, but give off a more "chemical" odor than we like, so we've moved to a different brand.

Very easy to use! Just drop it in the black and grey water tanks and the pouch does the rest. No bad smells! Will continue to purchase this item.

- Can The Pure Power Blue Treatment For RV Holding Tanks Be Used On A Tank That Is 3/4 Full?If your tanks were empty, then yes you could've used one 2 Oz. pouch of the Pure Power Blue Treatment for RV Holding Tanks # V23015 to treat your tank. However since the majority of your tank is full, it is not recommended to use this pouch to treat your tank. Valterra recommends that your tank be empty, and then to add some water back to the tank prior to using the Power Blue Treatment for the best results. It is recommended that after you drain your tank to add some water back into your tank before putting in a pouch. There is not set amount that needs to be in the tank. I recommend letting the water run into your tank for about 10-15 seconds then add the pouch. This allows the pouch plenty of time to dilute and mix.
