Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Buyers Products RV Observation Camera system. This rear observation camera system, with the license plate, night observation camera is designed to improve rear view visibility and obstacle detection. The system's night vision camera features a 120 degree viewing angle. It mounts to your license plate for a clean, out of the way look. You can see there, even with the light's turned off, we still have really nice visibility on our monitor.Another neat feature about this, or a benefit about this, is you don't have to actually drill a hole under the body of your RV. This mounts directly to the license plate holes already on your RV. The holes right here, for the camera mounting, these are separated on center, by 7".
The camera has heated night vision. It has a 7", full color monitor that displays at an 800 x 480 resolution and comes with multiple mounts to suit many different applications. It supports up to three camera feeds, mounts with the included U-bracket, which I have on there right now. Also comes with the recess bracket, if you want more of that factory or custom look. Then, it also comes with an adjustable ball and socket mount, which would be great for mounting on the dash. So, this little tab right here installs at the back of monitor, and then you can place it on your dash, has adhesive backing, or it has some mount holes in it, if you want to use some hardware for a permanent mount installation.Again, we have multiple mounts to suit many different applications. The monitor also features built-in speakers and volume control, and it comes with a sun shade on here, which can be applied to reduce the amount of glare on the screen. There's also a wireless remote for easy operation, in our or out of your vehicle.
It comes a 65' cable. That way, you have plenty of cable length to make your connections from the camera to the monitor. The durable camera is rated IP69K, for extreme water and dust resistance. When it comes to the specifications of the monitor, we're looking at a screen size of 7", aspect ratio, 17 to 9 or 4 x 3. Power consumption, 5 watts, and impact rating is 5Gs. When it comes to the camera specs, it uses a sealed 4 pin connection.
It's a thread have collar design, completely sealed, so it's not going to be affected if it gets dirty or if it encounters moisture, it's not going to affect that connection point. Infrared distance on a night vision, is 45', impact rating vibration is 20Gs, shock is 10G. This applicable for 12V to 24V systems.Overall, it's a really nice setup. When it comes to the wiring, there's only a few hard wired connections that you need to make, such as your power, your ground. Then you have your individual channel connections, so channel 1, channel 2, and channel 3.
Then everything else uses that threaded system for your connection. So, really plug and play with a few connections that need to made. Power wire is fuse-protected, with a 3 amp fuse, and that's a inline fuse holder, so it's already pre-installed, ready to go.When it comes to the monitor here, you see there it gives a really nice look to it. Very easy to navigate. We do have the remote, but right here you have a down button, which initially is going to control volume. Then you have your menu, where you can control brightness, contrast, color, volume. You can go 16 to 9, or 4 to 3 with your aspect ratio. Then you can change your orientation as well. Park set, on or off. You can change your language, and then you can do a master reset. You got your power button, and then you have three buttons that allow you to change between the different channels. Now, other cameras are sold separately, if you want to add cameras to this system. The housing on this camera body is a metal construction, where protective finishing, to keep you safe from rust and corrosion. Then, the bracket right here is metal. This bracket's metal. Recessed bracket is plastic. Sun shade is plastic,That's going to do it for today's look at the Buyers Products RV Observation Camera System.
