Marker Light Side Cameras

Marker Light Side Cameras

The marker light side cameras are the ultimate upgrade for your RV's side marker lights. They give you the same DOT compliant marker lights with the added benefit of waterproof side cameras with LED night vision and motion detection. The cameras enhance visibility and minimize blind spots by giving you a wide 65-degree viewing angle. They also have detachable light covers for easy access to replace your bulbs.

Infrared LED Night Vision

LED Night Vision

The 8 infrared lights on the rear camera and 12 infrared lights on each side marker light camera produce a clear, quality picture. They give you the flexibility to back up your RV in low-light conditions at dusk or in complete darkness at night.

Camera with Built-in Microphone and Monitor with Speaker

Cam Micro-Monitor Speaker

The built-in microphone on your camera is the perfect tool for backing up your RV. The microphone allows a friend or family member to relay information and instruction to you through your monitor's speaker, providing peace of mind as you work together to safely maneuver your RV.

Rear Assist Marker Lines

No more wondering if you're getting too close to that other vehicle. The rear assist marker lines take the guesswork out when backing up. This helpful tool displays reference points of objects within your view to avoid collisions and safely maneuver your RV.

Motion Detection

Motion Detection

The motion detect feature allows you to set the motion sensitivity level of your cameras to low, medium, or high. On the low setting, your cameras will not detect a pesky raccoon until it's very close or already in your garbage, whereas on high setting, they will detect the raccoon approaching from further away. Your monitor will automatically illuminate to alert you once motion is detected.

The auto-off setting is a great power saving option. Working in conjunction with the motion detect setting, this feature allows you to limit the amount of time your monitor stays on. Once motion is detected, you can program your monitor to power off after 10, 20, or 30 seconds of inactivity. The LCD auto off option will only power down the illuminated screen while keeping the monitor on.

Quad Split or H Split Display

Quad-H-Split Display

The quad split or H split display allows you to view up to 4 camera angles at once (additional camera sold separately). Depending on your camera setup, you can view blind spots behind your RV or on each side of it while driving down the road or backing up.

The installation was fairly easy. The trailer came prepped for the rear camera so, it was attached and linked. The side cameras involved a little work due to being close to the pass-through doors. They went on with a bit of cutting of the trailer skin. The problem is the right side trailer camera is reading that it's the left side and visa versa for the right. They are both installed correctly, facing back and the pairing button on the bottom. Also when the two side cameras paired they caused the rear camera to unpair. I re-paired the rear and now the right side ( left camera ) is unpaired. I've emailed Furrion for answers to my situation.

I dont use the side cameras as much as I thought I would. it does work nicely.

Have not been out on the road yet but the install was easy even for a novice like me. My reflection 5th wheel was prewired so it was a plug and play for the rear camera. For the side cameras I used the two screws from the previous light. I put both screws in the top holes, (one behind the camera) as that seemed to secure it better then bothe screws not behind the camera. Instructions were a bit limited(or I didn't read them) on the side camera sync but I pressed enough buttons to figure it out. Picture looks great. Do watch for obstructions such as awning supports which will limit view. I also used silicone to keep the water out.

I find that i use the rear camera much more than the side cameras so i question whether i would have bought the side cameras again. The rear camera would cut in and out on the highway so I added a longer antenna and you have to make sure both antennas are straight up and down to get the best signal. All in all i get a good view behind the 35ft trailer and would buy the rear again.

This camera set up is a great addition to our Rv. However it’s not quite as advertised. Our 2022 RV that we just purchased came pre wired for these specific cameras but it is not wired for the whole security set up and the cameras can only be seen on the monitor when the running lights are on the Rv are on which only come on when hooked up to the truck and are on on the truck. The “trigger” for the side cameras would be the directional also not wired in on the marker lights on the RV thus a waste of money for the side cameras and security monitoring. Without the directional trigger while driving, only the back up camera is viewed on the monitor. Also there is no power supply for the monitor for in the RV. Great technology but falls short for plug and play.

When mounted in the cab, the monitor typically works as an observation system together with a Furrion rear mounted camera to see the back, and two side cameras, for traffic observation. When mounted in the coach, the monitor typically works as a security system together with a Furrion doorway camera. In order to keep the cameras on when not hooked up to your truck you will need to wire it by running a power wire to each camera then connecting them to a switch like item # 37212225
Single Rocker Switch - On/Off - Black
. The switch will go directly to the battery in your trailer. You will need to turn the switch on while towing too, or the cameras will not be on. You should also add a 12V outlet in your trailer for the monitor to plug into when you are in the trailer like item # 37215105
12V Power Outlet for RVs - 1-7/16" Diameter - Hardwire - Plastic

Camera system works great. It connects quickly after turning on headlights. While driving, I have complete confidence of seeing the traffic behind me. I have the three-camera system, but I keep my screen on the rear-view only so that the rear-view image takes up the entire display. High quality image. Easy initial setup. Just choose option(s) of how you want image to display. The only negative, the image disappears sometimes. It is rare and the image comes back quickly. Will buy this setup again for next trailer I purchase.

Website description said these cameras were for a 2018 Jayco Feather but I have a 2022 Jayco Feather 24BH and knew they would work because they're the same ones the dealer sells. In the installation video it noted to also order the wire shrink butt connectors but they weren't needed for the 2022. From the factory there were some easy quick snap disconnects (see pictures) already installed and the side marker lights are higher on the coach and access to the wires were inside the forward storage compartment. Install took about 1 hour for all three cameras but I spent more time than I wanted to in order to figure out how to get power to the cameras (indicated by the blue LED light on the camera casing). Turns out I had to turn my Ford F150 headlights off from AUTO to ON and then I was able to finally pair each camera without any issues. Pics below show the side lights as they were wired from the factory. Just removed the panels inside the front storage area to access the lights. Didn't have to run separate trigger wires either like the video said. Just take a picture of your wires before disconnecting them and then wire it back up to the same quick disconnects. Easy peasy.

I purchased the three Furrion Camera System which includes the rear, left and right side views. Overall the system is excellent with sharp, real time views. I had a cheaper rear camera on a different camper and while the view was fair, it does not compare to the Furrion. Coming home from Pennsylvania last August, we ran into some heavy rain. The right side camera began “clouding” up due to moisture inside the camera lens. Since the system was still under warranty, I contacted Furrion by email (they don’t take calls apparently) and their representative instructed me how to get a replacement. The process was relatively easy and I had a replacement camera within two weeks. Furrion customer service worked well. However I just got my travel trailer back from have some warranty work done and when I hooked up my monitor, the left side camera was cloudy. I went through the same process and I just received word that a replacement was on the way (save your emails). Even with the two side cameras having issues, I would still give it five stars due to customer service. Hopefully the new side cameras will stay clear (as they should even in wet weather) and the cameras I had replaced were just in a defective group.

- FCE48TASL-07

I love these cameras and display screen. Being able to see what is behind and beside us when we travel is priceless. I tried a different brand camera system before and learned a hard lesson when it caught on fire. I’ll only use Furrion from now on and recommend Furrion to family and friends.

- FCE48TASL-07

I'm giving etrailer 5 stars on sales and delivery. I just received the camera system but haven't installed it yet. Get back to you on a later date.

- FCE48TASL-07

Install was easy everything went well I wish the side marker cameras could be adjusted to get a Veiw of the side of the camper. It would give a Mark to line up with.

Everything is working well. I would purchase again

- FCE48TASL-07

I absolutely love this camera system. I don't necessarily use it to back up but it is invaluable in metropolitan areas when there is heavy traffic. When changing lanes it is great to know what is around you. The only issue I have is that the camera will switch from rear view to side view, we haven't figured that out yet. That being said I still would not want to be with out this camera system.

- FCE48TASL-07

Installed this myself. Took about 6 hours. Finding the correct wire to splice was the worst. The picture is before the forever install.

- FCE48TASL-07

I have install the product. It was super easy. I will be giving it a good workout in June. Hopefully I can update with a user review.

Al - 05/17/2022

- FCE48TASL-07

The install was easy after watching the etrailer installation videos. The rear camera already got me out of an unsafe situation on the highway! I gave 4 stars due to the side marker camera angle. I wanted to see the sides of my physical trailer so I had to cut wedges to get the angle.

- FCE48TASL-07

The cameras work very well. The problem I have with it is that when I set the cameras to watch which parts I want to see, after a few seconds it reverts back do what it wants to show me, the rear view.

I asked the manufacturer if there was a way to see your other cameras for longer without it reverting back to the back-up camera and here is how you do it: To hold a view, the monitor needs to be set to LCD AUTO OFF. You may need to modify the instructions to fit your needs, like quad view vs tri view, etc. but the steps are the same. #1 MENU to SETUP to LCD AUTO OFF : Please make sure the X is marked red so the screen does not automatically time out. #2 MENU to SETUP to AUTO DISPLAY : Please choose the preferred layout and make sure that the auto-display function is turned off in WHITE. #3 Tap the main screen two times and choose VIEW ALL to hold the view to all cameras vs a particular view.

- FCE48TASL-07

Installed quite easily, installed all 3 camera in 30-45 minutes. The 2 side cameras I don't use that often, while they work great, I just find I don't use them too often. The rear camera however, I've found great going down the highway. The rear camera is awesome with allowing the sight at the back of the trailer to cleanly pass and re-enter the left lane. Also it makes it great to back into spaces with a clear view of what's behind the trailer. I would recommend this system to everyone and would buy it again.

- FCE48TASL-07

After looking at several sites, etrailer came out on top and IN STOCK! Got the order in 6 days and NO shipping. First time buyer but now know where to look first!

- FCE48TASL-07

DO NOT BUY IF YOU DRIVE A NEW TRUCK. After purchasing these I found out it is a known issue that if you drive a 2020 or newer truck these cameras will not work. After speaking to furrion support their only recommendation was to rewire the whole trailer so the cameras could connect to the trailer battery.

- FCE48TASL-07

Works great. Excellent safety feature when pulling an RV. I can confidently know when someone is close behind or on either side when making lane changes. Excellent customer service from the manufacturer when setting it up. The instructions in the kit are lacking everything that you need. But after getting help it had worked great.

- FCE48TASL-07

We are less then happy with the monitor. The monitors clarity is lacking, and it does not seem to get bright enough or clear enough. It is very difficult to actually see what’s going on behind you with the quality of the monitors screen. We had an older back up camera on our 2007 Lance camper that the clarity of the monitor were far superior to this one. We do not recommend this camera system to anyone because of the monitor.

- FCE48TASL-07

I have used for one year and 12,000 miles of travel. I have worked very well. I find that I use the side marker cameras very little. I prefer to have the rear camera fill the screen I check on following cars and only change lanes when I can see the car I just past in the back camera, my car does extended blind spot warning for trailer towing so that help. I would definitely buy this system again.

- FCE48TASL-07

The system works great as advertised, I especially enjoy the large screen view as I drive RV on highway. What gives it 3 stars is the system only views the three camera screen for a minute or two then reverts back to default rear view screen. Very frustrating trying to park RV when the side cameras disappear and I have to keep touching the screen to get the three camera screen. Would be five star system if I could set the rear camera default time longer. It defeats the purpose of three cameras if they appear for such a short time. I have a 40ft 5th wheel and I sometimes need 10-15 mins to back into a tight site.

- FCE48TASL-07

The cameras work great. The set up wasn't as easy because Forest River has the plug and play set to the back up lights. So if you do their install the camera will only work when you are backing up. Not what we wanted. A quick google search found someone with a Forest River/Surveyor trailer who gave the instructions to hook it up to your clearance lights. So that's what we did.

- FCE48TASL-07

I had a few issues but they have been taken care of by both etrailer and Furrion. Great Product

- FCE48TASL-07

This was easy to install and will ad value if we every sell our RV. I haven't really had the need to use it though as we always try to get a pull thru site.

- FCE48TASL-07

I was very impressed with the knowledge and helpfulness. Kaylyn was fantastic.
