Infrared LED Night Vision

LED Night Vision

This camera has 8 infrared LED night vision lights that produce a clear, quality picture and give you the flexibility to back up your RV in low-light conditions at dusk or in complete darkness at night.

Camera with Built-in Microphone and Monitor with Speaker

Cam-Mic-Monitor Speaker

The built-in microphone on your camera is the perfect tool for backing up your RV. The microphone allows a friend to relay information and instruction to you through your monitor's speaker, providing peace of mind as you work together to safely maneuver your RV.

Rear Assist Marker Lines

No more wondering if you're getting too close to that other vehicle. The rear assist marker lines take the guesswork out when backing up. This helpful tool displays reference points of objects within your view to avoid collisions and safely maneuver your RV.

Motion Detection

Motion Detection

The motion detect feature allows you to set the motion sensitivity level of your camera to low, medium, or high. On the low setting, your camera will not detect a pesky raccoon until it's very close or already in your garbage, whereas on high setting, it will detect the raccoon approaching from further away. Your monitor will automatically illuminate to alert you once motion is detected.

The auto-off setting is a great power saving option. Working in conjunction with the motion detect setting, this feature allows you to limit the amount of time your monitor stays on. Once motion is detected, you can program your monitor to power off after 10, 20, or 30 seconds of inactivity. The LCD auto off option will only power down the illuminated screen while keeping the monitor on.

Quad Split or H Split Display

Quad-H-Split Display

The quad split or H split display allows you to view up to 4 camera angles at once (additional cameras sold separately). Depending on your camera setup, you can view blind spots behind your RV or on each side of it while driving down the road or backing up.

the QR code worked for the product but I needed clarification so went to a [online video] site. There I was able to understand the very simple process. I modified the pedestal stand so it would fit in the center depression of my dash board on my 2020 Ram 1500. The system synced up almost instantly with the camera and once installed in the rear mount was able to secure a very clear rear camera picture. I can remove the monitor stand and secure it from view when not in use. The tiny screws for the rear camera can be a challenge glad extras were available as I lost two.

Seem to be a great system so far but will take a long trip soon for a better evaluation. Installation was as easy as it gets because my travel trailer was prewired for a Furrion camera system. My only complaint so far is with the factory instructions being a little light on the pairing operation. I was getting extremely frustrated when my camera would not pair with the screen. I had power to the trailer but the blue light would not stay on for pairing. I finally started reviewing YouTube videos and trailer videos. I am not sure where I found it but the final solution was simple. So, 1) ensure the 7-way connector is connected to the tow vehicle, 2) ensure you haven't disconnected the trailer battery, 3) ensure your camera screen is plugged in, 4) actually start the tow vehicle and finally 5) turn on your parking lights. Why the parking lights have to be on I will never know because it is NEVER mentioned in the manual. If I turned them off, the camera lost pairing. Yes, parking lights are safer on the road but failing to pair if they are off just seems silly to me. Color screen has good clarity and remote microphone works pretty good.Depending on your priorities, you will have to adjust the camera angle to your liking but it's easy.

Camera works great. Video is excellent. Only issue is the mount for the screen. Since I don't tow all of the time I don't have it mounted and the screen moves all around. Would like to see a cup holder style mount option.

The camera has been easy to use. It has given me great vision when backing.
Dennis J - 01/20/2022

Camera and monitor work great when hooked to battery power. Did not work when hooked to clearance light circuit on late model GM truck. Excellent range picture clarity.

The camera needs a 12-24V DC circuit using 18AWG or larger cables to work. You must also ensure it has the correct polarity of DC power supply to the camera. Perhaps the running light does not receive the 1224V to power it.

We have used etrailer for several purchases and are continually impressed by the buying experience. Every purchase has been competitively priced, shipped quickly with the very best parcel tracking. As a Canadian we find the process to be the very best experience for imported goods with delivery being prompt even with COVID and Christmas. You can buy with confidence.

Bought the Furrion Camera system a year ago and it is truly a great item for monitoring what you're towing. With a 33 foot trailer, It makes lane changing much easier as well as when backing into tight campsites. Item was an easy install on the trailer as well as placement of the monitor within the tow vehicle. Highly recommend this to anyone towing a trailer or another vehicle to monitor what is going on behind you.

Excellent. Ease to use
Ted B - 02/15/2021

I love this thing it works great. Some might want to opt for the larger screen. It helps me with depth perception. Way easy to change lanes now. I can quickly see how far back behind the trailer a car is. Also it run off the head light circuit, that’s where you power it from. So you have to tap into those wires. I always drive while towing with the headlights on to give power to the rear running lights and the camera gets that power

Works great. Took 10-15 minutes to install. Was concerned about reception because of some cheaper brands I seen in use. Reception is great. I have a 2016 and there were no issues with power from the marker lights

We just drove across country with our 5th wheel. I find the camera is very useful when changing lanes and maneuvering in tight spaces. Just started using the audio, that is handy. Great picture. I recommend it.

Thanks for the fast service. I received the backup camera and installed it in minutes. My camper was prepped at the factory, so the installation was easy.

So far I am quite pleased with the camera. It took no more than 5 minutes to install and that is no exaggeration. In addition after I placed my order, I realized that I could have bought the unit for a few dollars less on another mail order website. I called etrailer intending to cancel the order. Rebecca L. took my call and I explained that I found the unit elsewhere for a bit less and could I cancel. She advised that etrailer would credit the difference at 110% between what I paid and what the other company charged if I could show her where I found the same product on the other website which I did. I agreed that I would keep my order with etrailer as I prefer them rather than the other company anyhow. Rebecca was very friendly, very informative and most importantly very professional. I have bought from etrailer before and I guarantee I will again. Thank you very much Rebecca and etrailer.

I am happy with the purchase of our new backup camera. The install on our Heartland trailer was super simple. Only four screws. The pairing instructions left something to be desired. I called Furrion Customer Service and they hung up on me when I opted out of leaving an email message. Without many alternatives I left the obligatory email and got an auto response. The phone message said to expect an email response after two days. At the end of the second day I called and spoke with Gwen who walked me through the process and got me paired after a couple of false starts. Thanks to Gwen for her patient approach and for taking the time (25 minutes) on the phone making sure I got it done right. Thanks, Gwen, you're great.

Product arrived sooner than originally estimated & w/o any damage. Installation took only minutes to compete & to have a functioning unit. Installed on the rear of a 35' travel trailer. Will be used used for the first time in the next week. Will provide additional details after we have a chance to shake it down.

Hi, I just returned from a trip with my travel trailer after installing the Furrion Vision S back-up camera system. The back-up portion was easy to install but the observation portion will be more involved and I haven't completed it yet. The Furrion camera allowed me to see behind the trailer while driving which was a huge safety improvement. Using the camera for backing up was also a big safety and ease of use improvement. The camera has distance lines to show the proximity to objects and a sound element that allows you to converse with someone behind you while they are directing you to park. So far I am satisfied with the Furrion Vision S camera.

Biggest waste of money, only used it a handful of times and the screen broke 1 year and 3 months after the purchase and tried to call and see if I could get it fixed or replaced cause it’s $xxx then was told it only has a 1 year warranty and I can buy a new screen that’s $xxx

A great tool to have for many reasons. You always know what is directly behind you. Whether it be a emergency vehicle approaching or simply backing in to a camp spot. It takes the place of your rear view mirror and I highly recommend this unit. No regrets.

Will not pair, and Furrion does not care to support, they won't even take a phone call.

I've really enjoyed my Furion Back-Up camera that is mounted on my camper. It sure has helped in backing situations and when I'm traveling down the road.

After having our Furion Back-UP camera for a year, I can truly say it has been a great purchase. Although it helps when backing into campsites, the greatest benefit Ive found is just monitoring what happens from the rear when Im traveling down the highway. The camera is still functioning well and we are very happy we made this purchase.
Paul N - 05/01/2021

Great product at a great price (lower than [other vendors]) Easy hookup since my 2018 Grand Design was all ready prewired. Removed 4 screws from the existing cover on the TT, remove the cover, install the new camera, screw the 4 screws back in. Connect the TT plug to the F250, turn on the running lights - picture appeared on the screen. Easy. Like the 5" screen.

It is almost impossible to get rid of the glare(poor contrast) when adjusting the lighting on this rear camera. I think Furion needs to go back to the lab on this one!

Rv was pre set up for this style camera. Installed as fast as i could connect a wire and four screws. Special note if you have that set up, you need your trailer connect to tow vehicle with running lights on to pair if it requires pairing, mine didn’t require pairing. If i had one critique it would be to learn from Ring Doorbell. The attachment screws could have a special style screw bit so that someone with a screw driver can’t take it, especially for the price.

Great Back up system. It fit as advertised. It arrived on time. The staff at e trailer was extremely nice

It is great I use it every time we go out which is about every month. It took a little getting use to it but love the security of backing now
Darrell - 08/04/2021

Excellent service from etrailer, easy install since trailer was prewired. Purchased in 2019 and used on a 13,500 mile, 3 month trip to Alaska and back in the northeast. The unit worked flawlessly.

Good quality, easy to install

Very easy to install (camper was prewired) and monitor and camera paired automatically. Video is great and very clear. Love the motion sensor and audio features

Great. Makes parking our unit much easier and love it for knowing when I can return to the right lane after passing someone
Dan - 08/23/2020

Haven’t installed yet but everything came on time and was packaged very well. After it is installed I am sure it will work well as does everything I have ordered from etrailer. Very good products and service

Still working great. No issues. Great for watching traffic as well as my golf cart in tow

  • Compatibility of Furrion FOS05TASF Vision S Wireless RV Camera System with 2020 Chevy Silverado
According to Furrion, there was a change in the trailer wiring systems on vehicles manufactured after 2018 that's causing not enough power to be delivered on the running lamp circuit which causes the camera not to work properly or not work at all. Furrion developed an adapter, part # FR69SR which solves this issue and will allow the # FOS05TASF camera system to work. I've linked you to a product description video featuring the adpapter.

The prewired observation systems tap into that same circuit so that isn't an issue. I don't believe that the 2007 Airstream travel trailers had any prewired options. That model year is before that was common practice. I recommend tapping into that clearance light circuit and using the Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Backup Camera System w/ Night Vision - Rear Mount - 5" Screen # FOS05TASF. If you want extra cameras you can use the Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Observation Camera System...
