Infrared LED Night Vision

LED Night Vision

This camera has 8 infrared LED night vision lights that produce a clear, quality picture and give you the flexibility to back up your RV in low-light conditions at dusk or in complete darkness at night.

Camera with Built-in Microphone and Monitor with Speaker

Cam-Mic-Monitor Speaker

The built-in microphone on your camera is the perfect tool for backing up your RV. The microphone allows a friend or family member to relay information and instruction to you through your monitor's speaker, providing peace of mind as you work together to safely maneuver your RV.

Rear Assist Marker Lines

No more wondering if you're getting too close to that other vehicle. The rear assist marker lines take the guesswork out when backing up. This helpful tool displays reference points of objects within your view to avoid collisions and safely maneuver your RV.

Motion Detection

Motion Detection

The motion detect feature allows you to set the motion sensitivity level of your camera to low, medium, or high. On the low setting, your camera will not detect a pesky raccoon until it's very close or already in your garbage, whereas on high setting, it will detect the raccoon approaching from further away. Your monitor will automatically illuminate to alert you once motion is detected.

Auto-Off

Auto-Off

The auto-off setting is a great power saving option. Working in conjunction with the motion detect setting, this feature allows you to limit the amount of time your monitor stays on. Once motion is detected, you can program your monitor to power off after 10, 20, or 30 seconds of inactivity. The LCD auto off option will only power down the illuminated screen while keeping the monitor on.

Quad Split or H Split Display

Quad-H-Split Display

The quad split or H split display allows you to view up to 4 camera angles at once (additional cameras sold separately). Depending on your camera setup, you can view blind spots behind your RV or on each side of it while driving down the road or backing up.

Haven’t had long but I really like it, bought this to go on my enclosed trailer because I go into areas that I need to turn around which requires backing up and some are really tight and the way I turn I can’t see what is behind me, this helps alot

After having this for a year i am glad i got it, its like having a second person to guide me backing up, i really like the motion sensing and all, I definitely feel more confident maneuvering around in tight areas and backing up to my house

by:

This is not an eTrailer issue, this is a Furrion issue, it works, but it has a very weak connection on my 42’ trailer and loses connection repeatedly.
May make a difference if I had the side marker cameras, time will tell. I have to get them first.
But, something is better than nothing when backing.

by:

Installation went well. I won't be using it for awhile so I don't have any real experience with it.

by:

Order was left in front flower bed by USPS. Not so great for them. It took longer to check the items in the box than it did to install the camera. Longest was getting the ladder set up so a 75 year old person could safely reach the bracket on my Windjammer 3029W. Attached truck to the trailer for marker lights and camera scene came up immediately so apparently paired already.

Thanks again for prompt service and providing a great product.

So far so good. Installation was easy and instructions were good and simple pairing up of the camera and receiver was quick. Havent been able to use very much but Im alone now and will be helpful.

This camera system is a must-have!
I
had it installed for me so I can't speak as to ease of install, but they didn't mention any issues.
I have never had an issue with connectivity. My trailer is 21' and there is about 33 feet from the monitor in the truck to the camera on the back. Nighttime view is great (see picture.)
I travel solo and it lets me back up without a spotter and without having to GOAL every foot and a half to see where I am. Knowing where traffic is around me on the road is a a huge safety benefit. It helped me avoid an accident on the freeway last summer. I had just passed a slow moving vehicle and was signaling to go back into the right lane when a low sports car decided to pass that vehicle as well without waiting for me to get back over. It darted around it and went between it and my trailer, cutting them off and passing me on the right. He was completely hidden in all mirrors and windows due to being so low and in my blind spots, but I spotted his movement in the camera and stayed in my lane until he flew past. Another couple seconds and I wouldn't have been able to correct back. If it wasn't for the camera, I believe there would have been an accident.
The hardest thing to get used to is the reverse view. I wish CW had done the step to change mirroring the view. When I see a car on the right in the monitor, I have to remember they are really on the left of my rig. Apparently there is a way to flip this to normal view but I haven't been able to do it yet.
The monitor plugs into the cigarette lighter in the cab of the truck and I purchased a vehicle-specific mount for it from [online store]. I put an XL Scosche magnet on the back of the monitor. And a Scosche magnetic holder on the mount. It holds well through all seasons and is easy to take off when not in use.
I would definitely purchase this again and have recommended it to others.

by:

Love it - installed on our Geo pro 19BH and your tech support was really superb

by:

After some research I purchased this system and couldn't be any more happier! Easy to install , I mounted below the center upper clearance light and wired to that light after I accessed the factory wiring. Instructions were very clear and setup was a breeze. Pairing the camera with additional side camera's was no trouble. The 7" monitor is great and the picture's are very clear ,the sound is great as well from the rear camera. I would highly recommend this product, great quality and ease of installation due to wireless features.

by:

Because our Jayco Eagle fifth wheel was prewired, installation was quick and easy. The one issue I have is we bought the 7” screen and it takes up a lot of the windscreen if I attach it with the included suction cup. Instead I lay it on the dash using the desk stand. Along with hand signals from outside the rig, we use the camera to look for any obstacles behind the rig. It also comes in very handy on the road to help ensure we’re clear if passing another vehicle.

by:

So far this was an easy application. I installed in less than 1 hour. Picture is good.

by:

Service was GREAT staff was very helpful . Installation was pretty simple. Product works nice. Hope to add side camera later.

by:

Well its a great camera and popped right into the OE mount that came with the trailer. CONS-The screen is HUGE and it is a problem blocking my vision on the dash, wish it had a better mounting system. Could have went with a smaller screen, even with my up close bad vision. Headlights need to be on, for my 5th wheel to power the camera. Camera is WAY over priced. But it is invaluable driving and backing.

by:

Trailer was prewired so it was an easy install, plug and play. I talked with Helen T who helped with my questions. Product arrived on time as promised.

The camera is working great.

by:

Installation was a breeze due to our 2020 Grand Design 2670MK TT being pre-wired for this camera. Performance has been somewhat disappointing, though. Up front, in the cab of our pickup, the pic quality is adequate with fairly low signal strength. I intend to experiment more with a different antenna. We have not tried this device in low-light or no-light conditions. Note: Some RV's, such as our GD, have pre-wiring that only provides power to the camera only when the running lights are on. This is fine with us; but others may not like this setup.

After 1 yr, I still would give it 3 stars. We have the single camera setup. eTrailer is always great to work with but I would say this product is adequate at best. Display resolutionbrightness disappoints. Nerds might do better with a homebrew solution...which is ultimately where I think Im headed.

by:

This camera is a bit pricey, but it's worth it. Set up was super easy for our Flagstaff 26RBWS trailer, which is pre-wired for Furrion cameras. The entire installation took only 10 minutes or so -- just replace the existing camera plate with the camera, plug it in, and plus in the monitor. It connected automatically, and works great. Just remember to turn on your lights, because the camera is powered by the trailer light circuit.

by:

The rear camera works as one would expect. However, the monitor is not as clear as my old Voyager and the build is less then the Voyager. Once the monitor was mounted on the Ram mount I have on the RV dash the monitor started to make a rattle noise which is coming from inside the monitor. Currently doing the research for a better monitor.

by:

Love this camera! It makes it easier to change lanes and back up. My Jayco was pre wired so installation was very easy. The first time I used it I had to remember that the lights had to be on to power the camera because of the pre wire. Much safer to change lanes now. I can see what’s behind me now.

by:

It’s a decent system with a good picture, while parked or slowly moving (backing up). The refresh rate is so horrible that it loses picture/signal constantly while driving. This is not a rear observation camera, it is solely a back-up camera! Do not purchase if you are looking for a true rear observation camera to use while driving and for back up assistance.

by:

The 7" monitor is great as an effective rear view mirror. I look forward to installing the side view cameras, but for now I only have experience with the rear view camera.
The camera is great at daylight and serviceable at night (headlights tend to blind the camera a bit). As an unexperienced new owner of a travel trailer, I value the ability to better judge the distance of a car. When a car I passed shows up in the camera, it is definitely behind the trailer...

I want yo mention one complication with my VW Touareg, though: As with several modern vehicles, the Touareg has some AC signal modulated onto the 12V for the rear lights. The car uses this signal to identify failing lights. The Furrion cameras cannot handle power that is 'contaminated' with such modulation. Therefore I had to modify the electric system of the trailer. I am feeding the rear- and position-lights now from the battery of the trailer. I added a weatherproof 12V relay that takes the car's modulated 12V to switch the clean 12V power from the battery. This way I don't accidentally drain the battery and the functionality is as intended.
Well, I guess the Touareg cannot detect a broken bulb on the trailer any longer...

by:

Delivery time was quick, was here in a few days. The camera system works great. The setup and installation was easy. Watching the videos that are available on the website is very helpful. Very pleased with my purchasing experience. I always check ET first. Especially knowing that if I find it at a lower price you will meet that price plus 10%.

I have had the Furrion Vision for a year. It has performed great. It has made backing my 5th wheel easy. Its well worth the investment. I would certainly recommend it.

by:

Great backup camera. Excellent view and adjustability. Can't believe I've never had one before.

by:

The Furrion 7” Monitor and rear view camera was a great addition to our fifth wheel and truck. Really love it when we are driving in traffic through big cities and on major highways. Let’s us keep an eye on traffic behind us, so no surprises! The camera connects quickly to the screen and so far has never lost its connection while in use. I did drop one star in the rating due to it’s high cost and also the screen washes out in bright sunlight. If I had it to do over again, I also probably would have gone with the smaller 5” screen. The 7” is pretty bulky and takes up a lot of real estate on our dashboard. That said, we do like the Furrion unit and would recommend to others.

by:

One year and still working and worth every penny. I tow a 40 foot 5th wheel and having a back up camera is a must. Installation was not complicated (pre-wired for this product) and the wireless connection is 90% reliable. The mount system is not the best so I installed an after market mount using BulletPoint magnetic mount system to keep the monitor stable and in a good viewing location on dash of my RAM 3500.

by:

Furrion 7" Wireless camera was an easy installation with power coming from the center rear clearance light using red Posi-Taps. Instructions suggest mounting the camera at least 2" below the clearance lights to prevent 'blooming' effect. Our 5th wheel Glacier Peak had a wooden structural support at 2" so I drilled the power cord hole just above the wooden support which put the camera mount just underneath the LED clearance light.

I turned on my truck lights which powered the clearance lights and saw that the wireless camera had a Blue power light. I next plugged the 7" monitor into a 12volt outlet in the cab of my truck and immediately had a picture of the rear of our trailer on the monitor.

While checking all the monitor settings I discovered that the initial wireless camera pairing with the monitor was set on camera 1. Camera 1 view did not allow the use of the rear guidelines on the monitor. I did a manual pairing using the small pairing button on top of the monitor and set my camera to the rear camera which is camera 4. Once paired I was able to use the rear guidelines with the rear camera which provided a very clear rear view. The camera is adjustable so I set it at my preferred angle and made sure the wireless antenna was positioned as vertical as possible.

So far there has been no signal loss, no blooming effect from the clearance light and all is good.

by:

Camera worked just fine on our 2017 GMC Sierra, but when we traded the truck in for a 2021 GMC AT4 the camera no longer worked. It seems the electric system doesn't support the camera and Furrion has not made an adapter...a year later! The camera sits in a closet until there is an adapter that fits. Waste of $600 for us.

by:

I just received the Furrion Vision S Back-up camera with the 7 " monitor. The quality looks very good. I plugged everything into the cab of my pick up. Everything seams to be working fine. Unfortunately we are in the middle of winter here in Washington state. When the weather warms up, I'll put the camera on my trailer. Then I'll write the rest of this review

  • Solution for Furrion Vision S Side Cameras that Are On All The Time and Drain Battery
Usually the side cameras are wired to the running light circuit of the trailer wiring and not to the battery like it sounds like yours is. I would switch up the wiring so that they are connected to the running light circuit instead. This would allow you to view them when head lights or running lights are on but wouldn't draw on battery when not needed.
