Hello neighbors and friends, Steven here with etrailer.com, folks, today we're looking at our MORryde RV Griddle Slide Out Tray. So just like it says, folks, this is a nice little slide out tray. You can put your griddle on it and extend it out and it's gonna provide space for ingredients, tools, cold drinks, that kind of things, and allow you to get cooking without taking up table space. So it will be on your RV storage cargo compartment, and then you would just slide it out whenever you need it. Now it does include a safety strap here that is strictly for whenever you have the sides taken off. You can strap down your griddle and stove on top of this unit when not in use whenever it's in storage.
So it would pretty much be on the sides like that. So these sides simply push up and pull off, one of each side and lemme see if I can zoom in and show you where that's latching. So it's literally just kind of resting on top right there and then just folds down and kind of locks in place, if you will. It's not technically locked in place, it's just resting on top of those two little, I'm gonna call 'em, knobs or whatnot. And so it's very simple on both sides to tilt that up and just pull it out so you can see the slots there.
That's all it's doing and just come straight down on those. So very simple to use. And what I've gotta zoom in here, these blue latches, those are your lock latches, they're spring loaded and you simply push them down whenever it's locked in place to get it to come back out. Now I'm keeping it purposely loose right now just so I can demo a little easier. Keep in mind this would be fastened down to your cargo or storage cargo area, so it's not gonna move on you, but I need to to be able to move it.
So I'm actually gonna spin my whole table here so I can show you the slide out option. So keep in mind this can slide out a hundred percent and it can actually hold a hundred pounds. So I'm gonna go ahead and slide it out and I'm gonna go pretty much as far as it can go. There we go, I heard it lock out. So once again, it's gonna lock out a hundred percent and when this again is secured in your cargo storage area, it's not gonna be moving and that cantilever and everything's gonna hold and support 100 pounds of weight.
So to get it back in, you do have to, right now, it's locked out, you have to loosen up the latches on the front. So bear with me while I do that. And then once you get it that far, you may have to lift up the sides just a little bit and then it would go right back into the closed position. And then you can also lock it in the closed position. So I'm gonna spin this back here, make sure this is back down to place. There we go, and then I'm gonna come over here and grab, I actually have pulled, just for demonstration purposes, a griddle. So this is the griddle, the Greystone griddle that goes on here just for demonstration purposes, again, to show you basically like a size comparison if you will. And again, you could then slide that out, use your griddle, do your cooking and everything. So that's what it would look like pretty much with your griddle and everything on there. Again, you could slide it out, use it, when you're done, put it back in place. Now some quick dimensions with it closed like it is, closed in the closed position. It's only about 20-1/2" wide, 20-1/2" deep, and about 4-1/4" tall. Now when you open it and have the shelves on like I have now, it's gonna be 38-3/4" wide. And if you fully extended this out and you measured from the very back to the utmost front tip, it's exactly 48 inches. And then again, if it's closed, it would be back at that 20 inch deep measurement. So again, some quick measurements there for you. I hope those all help. The tray does come preassembled. You simply have the sides that you would then put on or take off as needed. And then again, you have a slot on this side and a slot on the other side. And that is strictly for putting this strap on for whenever it's time to transport, lemme get that loose there, when it's time to transport your stove. So then you can simply cinch down. And then when this is inside your cargo bay, it's not moving around and everything and doing that kind of thing. So keep in mind you're gonna use whatever stove, griddle you have, that strap pretty much fits this one and it's basically about 8-1/2" tall. So that kinda gives you an idea. And I've got about five inches of strap left. Now with this particular stove, the griddle top comes off and then obviously you want to strap it down when it's cold and non-use. So again, the stove is not included. Folks, that's gonna wrap it up for our look at this MORryde RV Griddle Slide Out Tray. I'm Steven, thanks for watching and have a great day.
