Note: Do not run your generator while it's sitting on this tray.
Need a way to easily top off your generator with gas during your next off-the-grid camping trip? This tray slides out of your RV for quick access to your generator so you don't have to crawl into your cluttered or cramped cargo compartment. When you need to add gas, pull the knobs sideways and slide the tray all the way out. When you're finished, push the tray all the way back in until it's stowed away. The safety latches lock the tray in place, so it won't slide out while you're traveling to the next campsite. And to make sure your generator doesn't get banged up while you're traveling down the road, tighten the 2 included adjustable straps over it and secure them to the integrated slots on the tray.
This preassembled tray installs inside the storage compartment of your RV or motorhome. Making sure there's adequate clearance of the compartment door, bolt the tray down onto the compartment floor using the pre-drilled holes. Mounting hardware is not included.

Hi, there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at this MORryde generator tray. This is going to make it much easier for you to access your generator compartment, to work on your generator, or to change out your batteries, whatever it is you're using your compartment for, rather than having to bend over and reach in, try and find your way into the compartment, which can be hard on your back, this is going to slide all the components out to you to make it much easier for you to access them. This does have ball bearings that allow for a nice smooth slide. So, it's going to be very easy to pull your generator, or batteries, or whatever you're using the tray for, out to you so that you can work on the outside of your RV, and won't have to climb back into that compartment. This does have a weight capacity of 250 pounds, so it's going to be plenty for just about anything that you're putting in that compartment, and, because of those ball bearings, it will still slide nice and smooth, won't take much effort at all.
Now, you can see, we do have these spring loaded clamps on the front here that will lock the tray in place, so, as we're traveling, we don't have to worry about our tray moving around, sliding out. To disengage we just pull back on the knob here, and that will allow us to pull our tray out. So, very easy to use and operate, very smooth for you. They do have these straps here that have the buckle clips on them, so you can tighten those down, cinch them to the right tension that you need to make sure that your generator is going to be nice and stable in there. It's not going to be sliding around as you're going down the road.
So, these are going to be really nice. And then, if you do need to take your generator out, very easy to disconnect those and get them reconnected again. Now, this does come preassembled for you. so you're not going to have to worry about putting parts in. You can see on the bottom side here our screw holes are very accessible, so just getting some wood screws to go into the flooring of your compartment to make sure that the tracks will stay in place.
It's going to be very easy to get this installed, but that hardware is not included, but again should be very easy for you to mount this in place. Now, as far as our dimensions go, our outside dimensions, including our tracks here, we're gonna be right about, call it 19 and 1/4 of an inch long. That's going to be including our knobs here. These stick out a little bit farther for us, so right about 19 and 1/4 of an inch long. So, it is going to be compatible with your RV compartments that are at least 19 1/4 inches deep.
As far as our width goes, I measure from the sides of our latches here, so that's going to be a total width of about 23 inches. Now, those latches don't necessarily need to be completely sprung out as they are here, so you might be able to fit it into a slightly smaller compartment, but probably not a whole lot before you have to worry about those not being engaged properly. So, I'm going to call about right at 23 inches wide. And then as far as our height goes, we're right at 3 and 1/4 of an inch tall. Our inside dimensions are going to be a little bit smaller, obviously. So, our depth here is right at 17 and 1/2 inches, just shy of 17 and 1/2, but right at 17 and 1/2, so should be plenty of room for you as depth goes. And then our width, right at about 20 and 3/8 of an inch wide, and then our height, we're about 2 and 3/4 of an inch tall. So again, 17 and 1/2, 20 and 3/8, and then about 2 and 3/4 of an inch tall. So, it should be quite a bit of room for you there to get your generator put in place. Now, when we do disengage our tray, and pull it out, we're going to have about 17 and 1/4 of an inch of travel along this tray. So, I measured that from where our spring loaded latches end up versus where they started back here. So, that's going to be right at 17 and 1/4 of an inch or so, should be sticking out of your generator compartment on your RV, so you should have plenty of room to reach in, deal with anything that you need in there. This is made here in the USA, so you can trust it's made to the high quality standards that we've come to know and trust for products that are made here in the US. So, it should hold up well, do a good job for you for a long time to come. So, that's going to complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..

Tray holds your generator and slides out, making it easy to grab your generator or top it off with gas without having to crawl into a cramped cargo compartment. Straps stop the generator from sliding around while traveling to the campsite.I must admit that I was PO'd when the tray arrived as the box had a different part number and different dimensions listed on it as opposed to those on etrailer's site. The issue was solved by Montrel M at etrailer via phone even though I had previously sent 3 emails. Within an hour all was settled. My apologies. As for the tray it looks great and is made well. I'm sure it will work fine. Now, can etrailer put the Mfg part number under their own part number for clarification if necessary.
As described and expected. Low profile made for perfect clearance for equipment space. Used through Bolts for large weight/leverage.
Used this to mount Honda 3000k Generator in my trailer generator compartment . Had to install some 2x4 blocks on the bottom of the tray to allow for for added height . Also cut a simple piece of wood so tray would not slide back in while generator is running . Great product , Wish I had done this years ago .
Tray is well built and exactly what I needed for my space. They side of the tray rails had a small bend in the side of the tray right out of the box, which must have been there before it was packaged. I was able to bend it back straight using some plastic clamps to avoid damaging the metal surface, good as new now. I installed in my trailer kitchen nook without issue and everything works as it should.
We are very pleased with the generator tray, very happy with how quick our order was processed and arrived.

Thanks for keeping my informed as to my order status. I received the MORryde RV Generator Slide Out Tray - 25-3/4" x 26-1/4" in perfect condition. The weight of the item is 52 lbs. and is well built. It will be perfect for my Portable Onan 4500i Generator, which ways about 100 lbs. I haven't installed the tray yet, but it will work out perfect in the rear storage compartment on my 5th Wheel Trailer.

They tray works well for my application. I got lucky on the size, if it was any bigger than 15-3/4” deep it wouldn’t have fit the compartment.
I had to mount it on wooden blocks so the slides would clear the front lip of the box. Great deal for the money compared to fabricating a sliding tray from scratch. It has no latch to lock the slide in the out position however so I’ll have to come up with a simple way to do that.

Awesome tray
We have a Northwood Arctic Fox 27.5L 5th wheel
We have a Honda 3000 Gen Set that we use periodically so we wanted it easy to use or remove when we don’t anticipate using it. This tray was easy to install. We cut a hole in the base of the storage area to allow better air flow & ventilation for gas fumes and exhaust air movement
Reminder there is no hardware so you have to pick up carriage head bolts and hardware to install
Review from a similar Generator Tray in RV Cargo Slides
My old battery tray was a rusted mess that required me to sit on my butt to push it in with my legs. This replacement is a dream! I was able to install it myself in a short amount of time. I've never installed anything like this, but it was easy. My old bolts were rusted (and some broke removing them) so I had to visit Lowes and get help picking out new hardware. That took longer than installing the drawer! I did make a little template out of a large paper bag so I'd know where I wanted the drawer and where to drill my holes--since my two hands weren't enough to hold it in place while pulling out the slide and also mark my spots. If you have someone to help with that part, use them. The drawer slides so smoothly, and it securely holds my batteries with the included straps. I did stuff a small piece of wood between the batteries and each side to ensure the rivets others mentioned don't pierce my batteries, but I'm not sure they would anyway. Just being extra cautious since I had the wiggle room. Highly recommend the product and etrailer. It's my third or fourth purchase from the company, and their customer service is consistently excellent, shipping is lightning fast. (For perspective, I'm a 40-year-old, female, first-time owner of a 21-year-old RV with some handy skills but far from a pro.)

Overall condition of tray was received good… the slide of the tray is not as smooth as I would have liked… after putting on a little silicone spray is appears to be better.
Also, there was no mounting hardware included in the package… had to use my own bolts & nuts to secure to my bay floor.

Good stable platform for our generator, all night thing I would like to see a lock when it’s fully extended. We run our generator fully extended out keeping it cool and quiet.
Review from a similar Generator Tray in RV Cargo Slides
They tray itself is ok, literally comes with zero instructions, mounting hardware, or even any direction as to what size is needed. Called customer support who also had no idea, also there's no way to lock it in the out postion to prevent it from sliding back in if even kn the slightest hill or incline. So my generator just slides back in all by itself. It seems well built otherwise which is why it get just an average rating.

The slide tray works perfect, smooth operation, easy installation, carries the weight of a Honda EU 7000 with no problems. I wish I had purchased sooner.

I think there needs to be a way to remove the tray with out taking the rivets out, I did and it made it easier to work with because of where it was going. It’s in the battery compartment in front of my 5th wheel a drop of 10 inches.

The tray came quickly and is a very well built one. Was easy to install into the front of our fifth wheel for generator.

Ordered two drawers: neither would not open to a full extension. Had to pound on them for a while. Eventually, got them to fully extend. May want to check the drawers for full extension prior to shipping. Otherwise the product works fine.
