How To Measure Your Pop-Up Camper

To determine the proper fit, measure from the the length (not including the trailer tongue) and sidewall height (undercarriage to the natural roof line.) This cover is designed to accommodate rooftop accessories such as AC units and vents.

Choose Cover by Climate

The climate where you are storing your camper will help determine which cover to choose. This SFS AquaShed cover is designed for use in moderate climates as indicated by the northern (green) and central (yellow) regions on the map above.

This contour-fit cover helps keep your pop-up camper dry and well protected when not in use. It features a 3-layer fabric with an SFS AquaShed top and polypropylene sides to protect against sun, rain, mold, and mildew in a moderate climate. Elastic corners and a rope cinching system allows you to draw the cover in tight over your vehicle.

Fabric Guards Against Elements

The top panel is constructed of triple-layer SFS AquaShed fabric that is stronger and more water resistant when compared to standard polypropylene covers. The fabric is breathable to prevent the growth of mold and mildew. It also beads water to eliminate pooling and ice build-up that can damage your camper or cover. Additionally, the material provides UV protection to reduce fading and cracking while protecting the roof from debris and other pollutants that cause black streaks.

The sides of the cover are made of a non-abrasive, triple-layer polypropylene. This high-performance, non-woven fabric is water resistant and breathable. The lightweight construction reduces the overall weight of the cover, making it easier to lift and maneuver onto your camper.

Straps and Elastic Corners Ensure Snug Fit

The cover is designed to fit snugly over your camper for a clean look and better protection from the elements. Elasticized corners grip your vehicle tightly, and they are reinforced to reduce wear and prevent tears and snags. Cinch rope threads through built-in grommets on cover to remove slack and reduce billowing.

Weighted straps with buckles run beneath your vehicle to secure the cover in place. The weighted ends allow you to easily toss the straps from one side of the vehicle to the other. Once buckled, the straps can be pulled tight to ensure the cover is securely fastened so it won't blow away with the wind.

Cover developed tears/holes very quickly. Fabric needs to be reinforced near critical “rub” areas where trailer parts meet the fabric (e.g. the hitch, trailer corners, propane tanks, etc.)

The cover still functions for now, but not a huge fan of how quickly this one wore down.

This cover has a 2 year warranty available through Adco. I will email you the details. For future reference, we do recommend covering corners and item corners on your RV with pool noodles or foam.

The cover ripped but is still usable. Also, one of the tie down straps ripped loose, but we tied it together and hope it stays put for the winter.

Every aspect of this cover, including materials and design are superior It is now ready to protect m Rockwood HW296 though another Wisconsin winter. I will be upgrading to a 30 ft travel trailer in the spring. I will buy an Adco cover to protect that one as well.

We had just bought a used popup camper and needed a cover for it. After my husband did an extensive search for one he found this one on this etrailer website.It took some time to receive it because it was out of stock but when it finally arrived we unfolded it and placed it on our popup and it fit perfectly from one end to the other. I was very happy to see that it came with straps to help hold the cover down and also some cording to wrap around it as well. We couldn't be happier with this purchase, it was well worth the wait. No more trying to drape a tarp over it and tying it up with bungee cords.

Storage Cover for Evolution E3 Popup Camper
Covers are measured to fit the length of the box and anything extending its length. Since your box is 16-1/2 feet with the cargo deck added to it we need to cover that length. We don't need to worry about the tongue or if we choose the correct cover the AC unit on the roof. Some covers are designed for rooftop accessories. I recommend an Adco cover designed for up to 18 feet. They do accommodate the AC and are just good covers. The 18 foot models will be enough without being too much excess.

So when choosing a cover for a pop-up camper, considerations are made for the air conditioning unit on top. When choosing the correct cover, you simply want to measure the length of the box, but do not include the trailer tongue. I normally prefer ADCO but in this particular case the Classic Accessories # CA80041 would be the best choice. It features a triple ply fabric that keeps rain and snow out. First, keep in mind that for the length the trailer body only should be measured and not the include the tongue. Height is also just the height of the body and would not include anything on top of the pup such as an AC unit. Width, as you probably have guessed, is also the body of the pup, but that usually is not an issue.
