You're worried about your toy hauler travel trailer getting wet and dirty in storage before your next trip. Whether you're storing your trailer in the rainy northwest, snowy north, or humid south, this weather-resistant cover is designed for use in extremely wet climates so your trailer will be protected. When you keep your trailer covered, you are less likely to need to wash and wax it in between trips. And if you want to trade your trailer in for a newer model later down the road, this cover will help maintain that resale value.
The 3-ply SFS AquaShed top panel reduces moisture buildup that can damage your trailer over time. It also beads water when it rains to stop it from pooling or freezing, which eliminate the black streaks and corrosion you tend to see on the sides and roof of your trailer. And when the rain stops, the fabric dries quickly to minimize the development of mold and mildew. The top panel blocks the roof of your trailer from mild sunlight as well, protecting the cover from cracking and fading.
How to Measure Your Toy Hauler Travel Trailer
To determine if this cover will work for you, measure the overall length of your trailer from the very front to the rear bumper, making sure you're accounting for any spare tire carriers and ladders on the back. The cover isn't meant to fit over the tongue of your trailer, so don't include it in your measurements. Then measure the overall height from the bottom of your trailer to the top. Do not include any AC units, vents, or antennas in your height measurement, as the cover is already designed to accommodate them.
Securing the Cover onto Your Toy Hauler Travel Trailer
The included ladder cap and rain gutter covers help prevent the cover from splitting on those areas of the trailer, so install those first. Then unroll the cover and carefully spread it evenly around your trailer, making sure you don't pull too hard and tear the fabric. The cover is labeled with "front" and "rear" to help you position the cover correctly on your RV.
Once the cover is in place, wrap the elasticized hem on the cover around the bottom corners of your trailer and pull on the cinch ropes on the front and rear until the cover fits snugly around the contours of your trailer. These remove any excess slack in the material, especially if your trailer is slightly shorter in length. Then toss the weighted straps underneath your trailer to the other side and buckle them together, which keep the cover secure on your trailer and prevents it from flapping in the wind and damaging the paint job.
And if you still need to winterize or if you need to access one of the cargo compartments, you can use the zippered panels on the passenger's side to easily access the interior of your trailer without having to completely remove the cover. You can also unzip the entire panel on the back so you can load and unload gear into your trailer.

Hello, neighbors and friends. Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at our ADCO SFS AquaShed RV cover for your toy hauler travel trailers that are up to 37 feet long. Now, here's an image of what this is gonna look like when it's installed. Keep in mind the color variations that you see in the images and that you see behind me today could have slight variations just because of the fabrics they get at the time of manufacturing. Sometimes the shades, the dyes aren't exactly the same as what you see in the image.
Here's an example. This is a stock photo. The whole thing looks like a light gray, but rest assured, it's actually this two-tone color. Now, again, this is for those toy hauler travel trailers that are 33 feet, one inch long, up to 37 feet long. The actual dimensions of this guy behind me is 37 and a half feet long, eight feet, 10 inches wide, and 10 feet tall.
So before we get into any of the features, you want to make sure this is gonna work for you. So you're gonna measure the overall length of your trailer from the very front back to the rear bumper, making sure you're accounting for spare tire carriers, ladders on the back. Now, it is not meant to fit over the tongue of the trailer, so don't include the tongue and that stuff up in the front. It's just the front face of the camper trailer, whatnot. Now, once you get the height from the bottom of the trailer, not the ground, the bottom of the trailer to the top, don't include AC units, vents, antennas.
It's already been designed to accommodate those kind of things. So once you've got all that, if you're within those measurements I gave you and that are on the product page, you should be good to go with this particular one. If not, pick out the right size one. That way you can get it the first time. Now, getting into it, this is gonna cover and shield that toy hauler travel trailer from rain, snow, debris, leaves during those short-term storage months.
It's gonna lessen the need for frequent washing, waxing, and roof treatments, while also extend the life of your trailer and help maintain its resale value. It's a weather resistant, three-ply SFS AquaShed. The top panel sometimes is white or dark gray. Just depends, again, on the manufacturing. It's gonna eliminate the interior buildup of mold and mildew. And this will block mild sunlight to prevent cracking and fading and water will beat on it and just roll off on contact. That's gonna prevent pooling and freezing. Again, it's a triple-ply polypropylene on the side panels and those will prevent the trailer from getting dirty, stained, or scratched. Now, zooming into one of the corners, they are reinforced elastic and they stretch over the corners of the trailer for a nice snug look. Now, they have integrated straps and ropes to prevent them from flapping in the wind and damaging your trailer. So again, you got the two tones here. Again, in person, this looks a lot lighter than what you're seeing on the camera today. You got the straps with the cinch straps here and the buckles. Again, buckle it, cinch it, and you're done. Now, it has built-in breathable vents as well, and those are going to reduce interior buildup of mold and mildew. Now, you've also got zipper panels in the rear and the side, and that's gonna let you open it. Now, keep in mind, this is hanging up sideways. They would be up and down, so I apologize for that, but I wanted to be able to show it to you the best way possible. And I think this does that from my space limitations. So again, a nice breathable fabric. You can see the inside looks pretty much like the outside, maybe a little shinier. You've got tons of little bitty breathable holes that have the fabric on both sides to allow it to breathe. Nice stitch on the zipper. And you're also gonna get a couple of weighted straps. Now, these, again, have weights in them. These will go under the belly of the trailer/camper, whatever you want to call it, and those would be underneath to help the sides, prevent them from flapping up and stuff. You're also gonna get some ladder cap and rain gutter covers. These are a high density foam and they have a little cinch strap on 'em. So your rain gutter spouts, this would just go over it and then that would prevent those sharp edges from ripping through this guy and making any holes. If for some reason you do get a hole, it comes with a couple patches. You also get this nice large cinch bag here. This is gonna be your storage bag. I'm six foot two. As you can see, it's a pretty big bag, so a lot of coverage going on here on the cover itself. You're gonna want to have some assistance when you install this, when you take it back down during the season that you're using it, and then put it back in the bag to protect it. Well, folks, a lot of information. One last time, this is what it looks like installed. Keep in mind of the shade differences on the colors. And I think that's gonna wrap it up, folks. I'm Steven. Thanks so much for your time today. I hope this quick look has been helpful for you. Have a good one, and stay safe while you're traveling.
