Specs:
This T-style door holder keeps the entry door open so you have both hands free to load luggage, groceries, and other gear into your RV or camper. You can also use this holder on an access or cargo compartment to prevent the door from crashing into your back or head while you're rummaging for supplies.
The 2-piece holder easily mounts to the door and exterior wall of your RV with self-tapping screws (not included). You should make sure that the 2 pieces are lined up before bolting them down. Once installed, the arm on one bracket will catch on the slot on the other bracket to hold the door open for you.
If you're especially worried about your RV's paint getting scratched, a rubber bumper is included to help prevent the door from opening too far and hitting your RV.

Ellen: Hey everyone, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Today, we're taking a look at the Kwikee T-style door holder with bumper for RVs. Now, this is going to be an easy way to hold the screen door or your door open on your RV to help you load in some groceries or maybe some supplies, whatever the case might be. You can also use it on compartment doors as well to help them stay open, really wherever you need it to be. So we made of a plastic construction. So, really no worries about this causing any damage with rust or anything like that.
And it just simply installs. The door holder will go on our wall, and then this portion mounts to the door that you want it to hold open. So, as that door swings open, can slide that arm out, trap it in that little slot. And then, it's going to keep the door wide open for you. The bumper that it comes with is just to protect your door and the sidewall, or maybe the wall inside your vehicle, from getting smashed by that door opening too far.So, install it really anywhere, on either side, just kind of depends on how you want it to be, or what configuration works better for your install. It's just going to be a little bit of a height there.
Or its just going to be a little bit higher, so it keeps your holder and a catch from getting damaged. And also from any holes getting punched in either surface. Now, as far as the size for everything, I want to give you some measurements here. So both sides of this are going to have the same base dimensions, which will be about an inch and three-quarters by about three inches. And then this piece is going to be about three-quarters of an inch tall as will this one. So one and three-quarter by three inches by three-quarter.
And then our bumper measures about one and seven-eighths inch by one and a quarter. And about five-eights or pretty close to three-quarter inches. The distance between the mounting holes for our bumper is going to match up with our holder. Which is going to be about an inch center to center between those two holes there, maybe an inch and an eighth, which is right about the same as our short side of that holder. Going the other direction for those mounting holes, it's about one and three-eights inches. Now, this does not come with any hardware to get this attached. It's really going to depend on what kind of surface you're going to be mounting this up to, but you can pick up some hardware elsewhere. The diameter of those mounting holes is about three-sixteenths of an inch.
So, anything that's under that quarter-inch mark should work well for this, does come with a one-year warranty from Kwikee, and it is made in the USA.The arm length, one last measurement to give you guys, is about four inches going from that pivot point to the very end of the arm. That's pretty much going to do it for our look at the Kwikee T-style door holder with bumper for RVs.

This part is a perfect hole for hole replacement for the door holders and bumpers on 1995 Holiday Rambler Alumalite trailer. I was even able to use pieces of the new door holders to repair the originals that came with our trailer.
Finding what I wanted and ordering was exceptionally easy. My product came, and it was exactly what I was looking for and needed to replace my current one that had broken.
I gave it 4 stars because it did not come with screws, but everything else looks good.
