Pull-Down Spout Makes It Easier to Clean

Empire Faucets Kitchen Faucet Pull Down Spout

Pull the spout down so you can easily tackle that food caked onto your plates or rinse the sides of the sink from any angle. Toggle between the stream and spray options depending on how much pressure you need or how long that food has been sitting there. When you're done using it, the spout self-retracts with a hose weight that can be adjusted anywhere along the spray hose.

How to Install a Kitchen Faucet

Empire Faucets Kitchen Faucet Installation

To install, use the inlet shanks and drop the new faucet and deck plate in place of your existing faucet. Then thread the mounting nuts onto the shanks and against the underside of the counter. Finally, thread the pull-down head's hose onto the faucet's center inlet, and connect the braided hot and cold water lines. You'll need to keep some tub and tile caulk (not included) on hand to help prevent any leaking.

Video Transcript for Feature Review Empire Faucets RV Kitchen Faucet w/ Pull-Down Spout

Hi, there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this Empire Faucet's Oil Rubbed Bronze RV Kitchen Faucet. So this faucet will allow you to upgrade the kitchen faucet in your RV or camper. It does have a non-metallic ABS plastic construction with that oil rubbed bronze finish to it, so it is gonna look really nice for you. It does have the pull down head, it will make it very easy for you to get the food off of your dishes.

You can see on the side here, we do have the toggle button that's going to switch between your stream and your spray options. The hose weight here can be adjusted anywhere along the length, so that's going to give you the automatic retraction, when you can determine how far you want to be able to reach that hose down. So you'll place the weight in the appropriate spot, so that when you're ready for it to retract, it'll retract it back up in place there. Now, this does have the gooseneck spout that will rotate 360 degrees, so you can access your faucet from any side of your island counter. This does have a standard flow aerator with a water pressure that's gonna be needed for your cleaning your dishes.

It's got a 2.2 gallon per minute flow rate, so it will be plenty for all those cleaning purposes. You can see we do have the dual handle design here with the teacup style handles. These do have the quarter turn stems that enable the faucet to fully turn on and off. These do feature a waterless design that's gonna help reduce friction and your daily wear for a nice, long lasting durability. As far as our installation goes, this is going to be a three hole installation.

The deck plate and the mounting hardware. These nuts here on your stems are included. What is a good idea, to pick up some tile and tub caulk to make sure that you're gonna have a nice seal around there, and that is not included. It is sold separately. As far as your inlet shanks go, these are your standard half inch diameter shank, so it will work with your standard half inch male pipe thread water supply line.

Our length of these, I measured them a moment ago at right at two inches long. So it'll give you an idea of the thickness of counter that that will fit into. And then the distance between those inlet shanks is right at eight inches center of the center. So keep that in mind, make sure that it's gonna work, fit right in place of your original sink set up. And then I'm gonna give you a a few more dimensions here. So you can see our base plate, where we're gonna be getting everything installed. We're sitting at about 10 and five sixteenths, just over 10 and a half inches long. Our width, it's kind of hard to show you, but it is right at two and a half inches wide here. And the height, approximately one and a quarter of an inch tall. As far as our overall dimensions go, our widest point, it's gonna be from the outside edge of our handles here. So from outside edge to outside edge, we're sitting about 13 and a half inches wide. Our height from the counter surface, I'm not going to include our shanks there, but from the counter surface up to the top of our gooseneck spout, we're sitting approximately 16 and a half inches tall. And our depth, if we have this facing perpendicular here from the outside edge of that spout back to the backside of our base plate, and measured that at 11 inches deep. From the center of our spout base to the center out here, we're going to have a spout depth of approximately eight and a half inches. So that gives you an idea of the rotation that you'll have around. If you are gonna be putting this on a area that's gonna be close to a backsplash or something like that, it'll make sure that you're gonna have enough room there. This does come with a water sense certification, so it is water sense certified and ADA compliant, so you can trust it's gonna be good quality for you. It willill do a great job. It does also come with a limited lifetime warranty, so if you we're to have any issues with it, you're more than welcome to reach out to us here at etrailer.com. But overall, I think this is gonna be a great option to give you that nice oil rubbed bronze look for your kitchen, kind of make it look a little classier, and give you a nice little upgrade for your kitchen sink. That completes our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching.

Replaced our horse trailer living quarters faucet. This was exactly what we needed. Easy install other than I had to drill the middle hole for the pull down hose. Our old one did not have a pull down faucet. Very easy to do. Delivery was fast with good communication.
