Hello, neighbors and friends. Steve here with etrailer.com. Let's talk furnaces today. The Dometic RV Furnace run on LP gas or liquid propane. And it's got an automatic pilot light, runs on 12 volts of DC power, rated at an impressive 25,000 BTUs. Now, at this particular unit, you will need possibly a panel or access door to complete the install.

But you don't have to have that as you have the smaller outlet as well included. Now folks, I wanna start off with throwing up some quick information. As far as overall dimensions, we're sitting at 20 inches deep from front to back. We are 7 inches tall overall on a height. And on the front side here, we are 16 1/2 inches wide.

And on the backside, it's about a quarter inch wider just because of those two panels back there. So, on the back it's about 16 3/4 inches wide. Now, the return air is gonna give you 80 square inches, and the duct static pressure is a .10 inch or 0.1, sorry, WC. Now folks, again, this is a 25,000 BTU rated. That's British thermal units, if you're curious.

Now, with this you're gonna also get these included duct adapters. You're gonna get three of them. (metal rattling) I'm gonna put them to the side. And again, those three are included. Now, this furnace can quickly and efficiently heat the interior of your RV or camper.

It's gonna replace, upgrade, or just add a furnace. And it's propane-powered system, so it's gonna be great for boondocking, and you can also use it without electric hookups. Now the automatic DSI is gonna gas pilot and reduce the risk of gas leaks and increase fuel efficiency. Now, this will rely automatically until the heater is switched off. It does feature a low air turbulence, which will provide quiet operations. Now, you can technically install this vertically or horizontally for flexible installation. It's very compact. It has an LED light in the middle up here by the switch. And that control board there will flash diagnostic codes if faults are present. Now, like I said at the beginning of the video, you can potentially get a access panel access door sold separately. However, you don't have to. You can technically install this with just this included outlet here, and that would simply go in from the outside of the camper RV. And this part would sit on the outside. But again, you can purchase separately an access panel or door. Black or white are the color options you have. Now, you will also need a furnace control thermostat, which is sold separately. It's required for operation. You're also gonna need some RTV sealant or a butyl tape sold separately as well to complete the install and get everything watertight as far as either this little panel or the larger one if you so choose. You're also gonna need either some number 6 or number 8 by half-inch pan head type AB screws or self-tapping screws to complete the installation. So, they're gonna give you these two little brackets here and two screws. That's gonna be for the main part up here, helping to hold the main door if you choose to get one separately and everything in place. Those are the only things that are included. The rest of 'em you would need to purchase separately. And again, that's just because it depends on how you wanna mount it and that type of thing. It is ETL certified. And as you can see, you've got some duct options, return options on the sides, the back, two on the top. And again, two on the other side as well. You got a nice length of wires here for installation. There's four of 'em, two blue, one red, one black. And the two blue are gonna be for a thermostat, red for power, and black for ground. Now, there are some stickers up here on top that give you the wire diagram, breakdowns, those kind of thing. It's gonna come with a nice set of instructions. Again, you got that little panel here. It's got an on/off switch and whatnot. And that's gonna be your control board. I've read through the instructions and I always tell everybody, "Read through your instructions once fully." Make sure you're truly understanding what you're getting into. If you don't think it's something you wanna tackle or do, obviously call a professional, get someone that does these type of installations near you to install. You can check our website for our dealer locators. Some dealers that we're partnered with as far as some local installation options as well for you. Now, if you so choose to get the access panel access door sold separately, keep in mind you could potentially mount it flush to the ground or anywhere you want, but there's a part in the instructions about mounting it flush to the ground about keeping in mind, you may have to put some blocking under it to have room for that door panel to sit in there if it's super low to the ground. So, just things like that. I always recommend people read through those instructions thoroughly to get the correct comprehension of what they're doing. As far as the weight, it's not too bad, it's about 33 pounds. Again, you're gonna get the unit, those two side brackets and screws, and three duct adapters.
