Heat your 18' long RV efficiently with this catalytic heater. The heater operates on low-pressure LP gas so you don't have to worry about electrical drain. Adjustable from 3,200 to 6,000 BTUs and will heat approximately 230 sq. ft.How I installed an Olympian Wave 6 catalytic heater in a 20yr old Class C that I have been refurbishing.
Installation bits:
1x12x48 pine board (base for heater)
4 #8 2" wood screws (board mounting)
4 1/2" nylon stand offs (board mounting)
4 #8 1" wood screws (heater hangers)
4 conical hot water faucet washers (htr hngr)
3/8" brass T fitting (splice for propane input)
3/8" pipe thread to flare elbow (for T outlet)
6' 3/8" propane hose female flare both ends
3/8" male to female flare elbow (to heater)
1/2" Teflon thread tape for propane
1" diameter desk grommet for hose
Cut pine board to size 1x12x17". Use supplied template to mark Wave 6 mounting locations. Stain board black. Install 1" screws and conical washers to board. (The washers make heater removal and reinstall much smoother.) Remove vent cover in front of furnace opening. Drill holes for mounting board in front of furnace opening. Drill 1" hole for propane hose access to the heater. Verify propane tank valve is closed. Apply Teflon tape to all male threads. Remove a 1" section from the 3/8" propane supply line to the furnace. Attach one end of the hose to the T fitting. Attach the compression T fitting to the propane supply line. Route the hose through the drilled hole and slip on the grommet. Reinstall the furnace area vent. Install the mounting board. Install the flare elbow onto the heater's input. Hang the heater. Verify the heater control knob is in the "start/off" position. Attach the propane hose to the flare elbow. Open the propane tank valve. Verify that there are no propane leaks. Test heater operation. Verify that the furnace operates as well as always. Now when boondocking, we have warmth without 12v power consumption.

I used it with previous trailer for better sleeping because of the noise difference between trailer heater and the Wave 6. I used a Coleman Gemini power pack with a Camco regulator for propane. My current trailer has a heater that makes very little noise and does not interfere with my sleep so I no longer use the Wave 6.
ican`t done the servy i did recive my heater i dont no where my heater.
My heater arrived in good shape. I had a professional install it, and it is working perfectly. Love it and saves lots of propane!
I haven't installed the heater as of yet but I did hook it up to the tank and it did a good job heating up the space intended for.
Took some time before writing to evaluate product.
Works as expected. Darn good back up for power outages and extra warmth. -17°F outside of tiny home 65+°F in with addition of small amount of grid electric. Likely would have kept up by its self.
Condensation occurs so ventilation is essential for that as well as safe operation.
Good unit. Uses less propane than main trailer heater. Be sure to leave a vent or window cracked open. Sometimes can smell like propane.
Great heat for our RV, without using the battery

A year later it’s still working great. We actually purchased the smaller Wave 3 as well for nights that don’t get as cold
Of course, it is a VERY well made product. BUT the service was AMAZING !!! JUST AMAZING. Thanks a MILLLLION for the time you spent responding to my questions, and for the fast shipping. Sadly, it was delivered here by UPS, and the brokering fees are just WAY too much. Now I am just waiting for the cold weather !
I received my 6 wave heater and very happy how it operates and gas hose kit fit the heater nice plus it came on time
Product excellent, communication excellent! If they have what I need, etrailer will be my choice.
great had one in the past
You have great service but I can't say the same about UPS. I appreciate that you were able to replace the lost shipment.
almost to much heat for my 16' rv but that is far better than not enough.
The order was shipped promptly . These are the best Heaters no more dead battery’s !!!!
Thank you

Prompt delivery. Awesome service.
We have enjoyed the heater as it doesn’t drain the batteries while using it. The heater keeps our 28ft airstream warm, but if the temperature drops below 40 degrees F. Outside, we use the rv heater and the Olympian Wave 8 together. By using them both at once it allows the rv heater to kick on less as the Olympian wave heater will maintain the heat inside the airstream longer. Yes I would recommend this heater and I would also recommend buying from Etrailer, great customer service.
Started with the Wave 3. Too small for my application. 18' inside length toy hauler. Ended up buying the larger Wave 6. Couldn't return the first one after hooking it up and trying it. Get a larger size than what Camco's application chart recommends.
Pros: No battery drain. Works OK.
Cons: Less heat than expected. No thermostat, so it's either "on" or "off". Set off the smoke detectors first 3-4 times of use.
I mounted the Wave 6 to a TV articulated mount so I could point the heat where I needed it and stow it out of the way when not in use. I made my own custom cover out of vinyl to fit around the mount.
This thing is the jam. Enjoyed a season of use - our family doesn't need much heat through the summer and fall camping months, but when we did, this was great way to quickly knock off the chill or add a little extra heat to our medium sized camper during the night.
Heater functiond perfect but does not supply enough heat to heat my conversion van. Never had a problem with the heater I just need more heat. Heater is very safe to use.
What I suspected. Good quality and worth it. I tried a Buddy heater and not worth it. If you like to carry bottles that may work for you but this one I connected directly to my tank (T off my regulator). Put an on-off valve in line and mounted it on a cupboard door in my little camper. Nice.
Best heater ever.

Huh, that is very odd. Looks like it supposedly shipped out about a week ago. Lets go ahead and get a reship set up for you as well as a missing package claim with UPS. I would love to hear your updated feedback of your experience once you receive the reshipped order.
