Specs:
This 24V inverter changes DC output from your RV batteries into AC power so you can plug in tools and appliances. Using pure sine wave technology, it creates clean power with low distortion, making it safe, efficient, and perfect for sensitive electronics like computers. Plus, the inverter can generate 250 starting watts and 200 running watts which is a great fit for small electronics.
The inverter includes 2 North American outlets for AC loads, 12V DC adapter, and a port for a fixed-mount remote (sold separately). It has a function switch that lets you select different frequencies (50Hz and 60Hz).
The system includes a number of safety features. It offers protection from over/under voltage, overloading, and overcurrent. The inverter also uses a heat sink process to protect from extreme temperatures, and an internal cooling fan removes excess heat from the unit.
The inverter mounts inside your RV in a dry location with ventilation. It connects to your 12V DC outlet with the included DC adapter.
There are 2 fixed-mount remotes (sold separately) that let you monitor and control the inverter from inside your RV.
For a simple, no-frills option, the Go Power GP-SWR-A Inverter Remote lets you turn your inverter on and off from inside your RV. It also has a LED which indicates the inverter's status.
For additional features, the Go Power GP-ISW-R-24 Inverter Remote provides LED indicators that display the voltage, output power, inverter status, power saving mode status, and fault conditions. It also has a power button that controls the inverter.

Today we're taking a look at the Go Power Industrial Pure Sine Wave Inverter. This is going to give you clean power for your electronics inside your RV. It's going to convert that DC to AC power similar to what you have in your home since most residential areas run off of AC power. You'll be about to plug in those electronics to the two grounded outlets here on our inverter. There's also our on-off switch, as well. That also allows us to turn it into a remote operation if we want to control this remotely. The fixed remote that you can get with this is sold separately and that lets you monitor and control the inverter from inside your RV.
The part number for that, that you can find right here at etrailer.com is 34280231.We have all our connection points on the other side, and we also see our fan there to keep everything nice and cool and running smoothly. We'll get a 12V outlet plug so you can this into a 12V outlet on your vehicle and then connect that to the inverter if you don't want to connect this directly to the battery you can run it that way. It also comes with two small ring terminals as well. And basically again, this is just going to convert that DC power to AC. And then make sure that that power is clean or it doesn't have any fluctuations or distortion.
That's important whenever you're going to hook up any kind of sensitive electronics or run any small kitchen appliances off of this. That's really the best use for this, is those more small electronic devices. It has a couple of built-in safety features as well to protect your RV's electrical system, including a current protection to prevent any issues from reverse polarity, over or under voltage, short-circuiting, overloading, and overheating. It also has a LED indicator to show the power and volt conditions, and that's going to be right there above our switch. So, you can check the instructions. It has a pretty good layout of how everything needs to connect together and what the flashing light may mean as far as faults go.Another item that you can pick up to go with your inverter would be the Fuse Block Installation Kit.
That helps you to safely connect to your RV batteries and helps protect your electrical system during power use. That part number is 342GPDCKIT1, and that is sold separately, as well. This is going to work for 24V battery systems. It has a rated power running at 200 watts. A starting surge power output of 250 watts.
The voltage or the maximum power is 24V DC. The input is between 20 and 32V DC. And the output will be between 100 and 120V AC.It has an operating temperature range between -4 F up to 140 F and a storage range between -20 F and up to a 158 F. So, pretty much if we're in Alaska or Arizona we should be able to use this without any issues. From front to back, with our connections there, it's about 8-1/2" long. Then measuring from the outside of those mounting flanges, it's about 6" wide from the center of one mounting flange to the other. It's about 5-7/8" apart. The distance between our mounting flanges here on the side are about 4-1/2" apart. Then it stands about 2-5/8" tall. It weighs just 3-1/2 lbs. The instructions do also give you a good layout of how it needs to be mounted, either upside down or on a surface or mounted on a wall. You just want to make sure whenever you do wall mount this that you don't have it pointing down or up. It really needs to be pointed to the side. It comes with a two-year warranty from Go Power. And that's going to do it for our look at the Go Power Industrial Pure Sine Wave Inverter.

One year + later, this inverter is great! I have it connected to two battleborn lithium batteries. We can run our TV although we don’t much, our Microware, or our coffee Kirin machine - of course not all at once. The fan is a bit noisy but it only fires up when drawing heavy from the inverter. Love it and recommend it.

After 4 days of use this inverter easily does anything I need it to do, which is largely charging batteries when taking road trips. It handled my Dremel and 3/8 drill, as well. Didn’t try the grinder ?.
It’s well made with an all metal chassis, including front and rear faces – the only plastic is the black cover. It is substantial and heavy enough that it doesn’t look and feel cheap or breakable.
Overall, I like the unit and would recommend it.
My only strike against it is, IMO, a design flaw at Go Power. It is nuts to have the power connections on the back so close together. One of them should be located where the ground connector is. If one uses something more substantial than the #6 wire Go Power recommends and one should if the inverter is more than about 3 or 4ft from the battery. I am using #6 CABLE for a 9ft run. The plastic caps make it difficult to impossible to use lugs made for more substantial cable, but the proximity of one to the other makes it a safety concern to remove the caps. I had to file one lug more narrow to make it fit inside the plastic and left the other uncovered.

I finally received my Go Power IC3000 after a nearly three-week delay. Unfortunately, I missed my window of opportunity to get it installed this year, so I am not able to complete a review of the product at this time. I can say, installation is going to be quite a challenge. The item is large and heavy. Finding a suitable location that meets all the requirements is going to be difficult. The batteries are located at the front of the trailer, while the AC lines are on the other side of the basement. Since the inverter cannot be located in the same area as the batteries, I'm not sure I am going to be able to reach everything and maintain the 10' maximum length requirement of the 0000 DC cable. We will see what happens next spring. I will post a follow-up review post-installation if possible.

We are currently working on hooking up the inverter we ordered from etrailer for the maiden voyage in our new trailer. It appeared these items would not be arriving before we left, but after a quick phone call to etrailer and a conversation with Steve Z. in customer service our inverter was on it's way by 10:00 am that morning. It did indeed arrive in 2 days giving us time to hook this up. We were thrilled as we wanted to put this trailer to work off the grid. Great service. Thank you so much.

The inverter works very well. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because the front of the unit is made with cheap plastic. The screws that hold the electric outlet in the front of the unit is embedded into the plastic. The plastic broke the first time I plugged into the outlet. I was leaving in two days to go on a trip to Utah so did not send it back. I voided the warranty by opening the unit, reinforced the outlet by sandwiching the plastic front in between two pieces of aluminum and used screws to hold the outlet in place. Since doing this, everything has worked flawlessly.
I would not buy this item again due to the plastic front.

I installed the GoPower 3000w inverter/charger in my fifth wheel trailer. I connected it with three 12v deep cycle flooded cell batteries and a sub panel to send 120v power to all outlets in the trailer. The automatic switch in the inverter has worked flawlessly. Perhaps the best part is the E-Trailer customer support. They answered my calls, actually speak English, and stayed with me until my questions were answered

Used this 3 time in 2 weeks (received and installed it on March 4, 2022) and it has already broken. Inserted in a plug with three prongs and the plastic cracked and pushed the outlet in. If I remove the plug I don't think I will be able to plug it back in. The outlet is no longer mounted to the case and moves in and out freely. For the price I paid for this inverter, I am not happy about the build quality. Glad I am testing this out before going out on the road trip. This review is for the Go Power 1000w 12v Industrial Pure Sine Wave Inverter. I have contacted the manufacturer and will update this review if etrailer allows editing reviews.

This product is reliable and works well to the stated 400 watts when the load is steady. I like that this unit works well with my 29.4V DC battery pack (7S). Past 250 watts, even small surges will trip the unit off. At around 250 watts(steady) my quart compressor cooler will kill AC power out when it kicks on. It appears that the 600 watt surge rating is inaccurate.

Ordered Monday night at 6:30 pm and it showed up Thursday at noon with the free shipping option. Can’t beat that! Now I get to install over the weekend instead of waiting until the original arrival date of Monday. Will give 4 stars for now until it’s installed and working. Hefty unit at 50 lbs. install in my 2015 Amped 28FS looks like it will be very straight forward. Thanks etrailer for the quick shipping. Now I can’t wait to do some serious boondocking especially when my solar is installed and I can minimize the generator running!

This was a great DIY project. I will be able to boondock and have all the essentials. The inverter/charger was the best addition to my package. I can use a smaller generator because the inverter/charger has power sharing. This is a great feature.

This unit is well built and ready for 50 amp pass thru. Comes with built in 50amp circuit breakers and Romex clamps. Installed on our 2019 Grand Design Momentum and so far works great. Recommend the remote panel. Bob at GoPower was awesome with customer service and helped me set all parameters for lithium batteries. Sarah at etrailer was great and had shipped out an hour after I ordered to make my need date. I highly recommend GoPower and etrailer.

Installed easily under a dinette seat for air circulation. Most important is the addition of a large 200 amp power switch/circuit breaker. Also installed remote panel for easy monitoring. This is a nice size for moderate usage of electronic equipment while on the road. Would recommend for its quality and very good instructions.

We have had great experience with our Go Power 24 volt DC - 700 watt sine wave inverter. It has low idle power consumption and works great under 120 volt loads. We had bought another Go Power earlier which is a 12 volt DC - 300 watt inverter for a remote lighting application. These are quality inverters with good durability and reliable performance from our experience. I highly recommend particularly the low wattage models we have used.

I received the unit lickety-split. Impressive since too many vendors think Alaska is not part of the US..."can't/won't ship to a 'furrin' country!"
Although it's a balmy -4°F outdoors, that's not conducive to doing an installation, so, I opted for a bench test in the heated garage: Temporarily splice in some 14 AWG 110VAC AC cords, one in, another out, clip in the remote control and connect a 12V battery.
The inverter started right up when activated and with an inspection light plugged into the 110VAC output, I put the unit through its paces...i.e., all the permutations of un/plug "shore" power, load, battery etc.
Darned if it didn't behave exactly as I would hope and expect.
The remote & its UI provides all parameters I could reasonably desire and after exploring all of them, played with dis/enabling the battery charger as well as the inverter. All while monitoring the battery with a separate digital voltmeter.
Again, it behaved exactly as I would have expected.
Now, a really thorough pre-installation bench test would involve a 2-pole, 50A "shore" input and load box. Based on what I've seen though, I'm optimistic this unit will work very well as part of a serious solar/battery/inverter upgrade for our "new" used moho, a 2002 Winnebago Journey 32' DP.
When Spring comes next year, and I install this inverter as part of adding serious boondocking capabilities, I'll update the review.
In the meantime, this is an impressively feature-rich, and powerful inverter, and earns a top rating from me.

First timer install. Go Power tech support was well informed and answered my questions and gave good advice. I've been using the system I installed for over a year, and glad I did it myself since I've come across a few instances where it really paid off to know how to configure and debug and what to expect. I've been pleased with the performance and interoperability with my lithium batteries and solar charge controller.

This fuse pairs well with the IC3000 inverter/charger, and handled 4/0 cable with ease. IT is the size recommended by GoPower for the IC3000. Quality materials that I expect to last a long time.

The product itself so far so good. Customer service was good. BUT I thought the # 34277742 switch for my inverter was included with the inverter, I even e mailed the ad to separate sales guys showing them that their ad says the switch is included, bottom line I was out more money for a switch, extremely disappointing, seems like false advertising but what can you do.
