Well, we have used the snap pads on the original 5th wheel trailer and also just switched them onto our new Flagstaff 5th wheel trailer and like them very much. Yes they were tough to remove off the older trailer but installed perfectly on the new one. ( I sell RVs and tell my customers how well they work. ). A very good product.

Very good

We love the snap pads. We lost one recently due to a tire blow out.

The snap pads are a great product

by:

I gave up using them because especially the back ones kept falling off. Because they are cushiony it makes the 9 inch metal jack feet bend upward around the edge/mushroom upward. And the snap pads fall off.I

I do know that on some of the newer Class A motorhomes that are heavier they use the 9 inch feet plates that can become concaved when used. They will not fail however it makes it near impossible to install SnapPads and keep them on. You can replace the foot plates with 12 inch foot plates and then use larger SnapPads with them, keeping in mind the that you will need 14 inches of full clearance around their retracted feet to allow for the diameter of the SnapPad. We are working towards adding this information to our site.

I had SnapPads on our Fifth Wheel and liked them, Ordered replacements for our MH after the Dealer installed ones fell off on the first trip. They did not work out either. Everyone said they were the correct one for our MH but they would not stay on. Not an E Trailer issue but a Manufacturer issue.

Sometimes, the feet of the trailer jacks will bow, which can cause the pads to not stay on. When we see repeated losses, it's most commonly from the trailer jacks feet have dished out (like a concave) over time of use. Another reason could be ground clearance issues when navigating curbs, speedbumps, and potholes. It could also be that that the lip of the pad was damaged during the installation process, the SnapPad cannot be guaranteed to remain intact. There a couple of other factors as well, I will send them in more detail to you via email.

Fast and easy! We love snap pads! Lost one going over RR tracks

by:

I received my SnapPad a day before it was expected. Perfectly matches the other five I have on my trailer I purchased directly from SnapPad.

by:

Great product and price. Works as advertised. Saves your jack pads.

etrailer was amazing who knew you need to tighten the bolts united the hydraulic leveling landing pad. So retuning from Mount Lassen California I lost the right rear landing pad. Who knew there was a bolt under the foot/pad that needs to be tightened once in a while. I was looking at replacing the foot and the attached Snap-Pad. I thought I would have to buy more Snap Pads than I needed to get just one and would have to buy at least two of the hydraulic landing foot/pad. But nooo!!! etrailer to the rescue they sold me just one landing foot/pad and one Snap-Pad. Wow! Someone who looks out for the little guy Thanks etrailer. Let me add everyone I talked to were kind and very helpful. Oh! Hint to keep it from happening again I used a dab of blue lock tight to keep the bolt from backing out again. Don’t know if it recommend but it’s my solution

I am happy with the pads after pulling the camper cross country this summer. I lost 1 pad on the road shortly after installing. The replacement has been on all year and has worked well. I would recommend putting some soap on the pad to ease installation. Had I not lost the one pad I would have given 5 stars.

I have now lost 2 pads over 2 summers. I luv the product but will have to rate middle of the scale with losing half of them. I am going to Ron some stainless steel bolts through them and fasten to the hydraulic steel foot. I hope this prevents any more loss.

@StephenH Are your landing gear feet bent or dished? If they are, they won't be able to be completely 'locked in' to the SnapPads. Your solution would work, but SnapPad recommends replacing the feet if this occurs.

by:

Great product lost one while traveling, hit a large piece of tire in the road which nocked one of my pads lose. Luckily I was able to buy a single pad.

by:

Perfect replacement after footpad unscrewed and lost the footpad and this Snap Pad.
From now on I’ll be checking that the footpad bolts are tight so I don’t lose another set of these.
The other ones were also loose guess I’m lucky I only lost one.

The link was very informative, and the product I ordered was shipped in a very timely manner. I have purchased items from etrailer.com in the past and will continue to do so. Great customer service, and follow up. Great job!

by:

E-Trailer shipped the rv pad amazingly quickly! The product is constructed extremely and works as described on their website. Thank you again E-Trailer !

by:

As always Etrailer had what I needed at a reasonable price and quick shipment. as a full time RV'er and maintain several work trailers they are the go to place for me to keep everything in good operating order.

by:

Perfect fit for my new adjustable length front jack foot. Installation was easy - I used the stacked levelers in the picture to help guide the pad onto the foot by sliding support where needed to insure a good "snap" on all edges.

Goodbye wood blocks - with the larger diameter front jack foot and snappads on all things that touch the ground (also installed snappads on my stabilizer feet) my asphalt driveway will be happy!

by:

Works great! Quick response, I couldn’t be happier.

by:

Received the correct product and on tim e!

by:

Perfect fit for a pad I lost on the roa d.

by:

Easy ordering and delivery. Item arrived in perfect condition. Appreciated attached install video to order.

Great! Don’t even think about it. Worry free.

by:

Easy to install. On the first trip, the left rear pad did not clear the curb, split and came off. I noticed it 10 min out after our safety check. I ordered another one and so far so good! The pads did not come off! I also raised the rear jack to clear the curb. These are a good investment, and help stabilize the RV. Should only have to purchase these one time!

by:

Worked great. Replaced a lost pad.

by:

Repeat customer. always fast shipping, good communication, and quality products.

by:

Purchase one because I lost it somewhere in my travels I’m sure by rubbing a curb!!!!

by:

Sturdy, solidly in place, after 35,000 km on the roads to Alaska and back, we can certainly confirm: great addition to our travel trailer! Much easier to set up and break down from sites.

by:

Great replacement for a lost pad.
