Stackers Blocks and Chock

Stackers with Chock

Stackers leveling blocks can be stacked directly on top of each other for supporting a trailer tongue, or you can stagger the blocks to create a ramp. Not only do the individual raised squares interlock with those on the block placed above it, but the built-in handles also interlock with these squares for a more sturdy and streamlined design. The Stackers chock (A10-0922 - sold separately) can then be attached to the leveling blocks to help stop your trailer or RV from rolling off the Stackers.

Video Transcript for Stackers Leveling Blocks Review

AJ: What's up everybody it's AJ with etrailer.com. Here we'll be checking out the Stackers from Valterra and these are going to be used to help level out your camper when you're on uneven ground. Let's take a closer look. You've probably seen setups like this at campsites, people using wood blocks to help stabilize or level out their rig. That's not really a good option. The wood's going to collect moisture, rot, just be damaged over time. And then it's just going to fail on you. That's why these are so important.

The stacks here are made out of heavy-duty plastic. I know you can't lift it and feel yourself, but maybe you can hear it hitting the ground. It's not just a flimsy plastic. I'll try and bend it. It bends a little bit, but you can see it's not flimsy.

I'm not even close to even breaking it and it's really heavy duty.So it's going to hold up when you park the RV or your camper on top of them. They actually have a weight rating of 40,000 pounds, so that really shows you how much they're going to hold up.I'm going to show you the insides, what they look like. And the pegs on top, they just fit right in like that, just like blocks. They stay connected. I'll try and pull them apart.

It's not going to happen. If they're on top of each other and the pressure is coming down here you're definitely not getting those apart. But the other thing they added in is, if we we're to stack it like this for a pyramid like we did here, your tire is going to come up these ramps just to help it up. That way it's not such a big gap from block, to block, to block. Each one by themselves from the bottom to the top is an inch and three eights. When you add another one on top of that it becomes two and a half inches. And then another one, a third one, will be three and a half.

So you just keep doing that. And they come in three different quantities. You can get 1, 4 or 10, so that just gives you some options for your set up of your rig. Now, if you get the 10, you actually get a carrying case and when you're done with them, you can tie them up with this hook and loop, keep them nice and tight in a stack, and put them in the bag. That way, even if you have some extra ones you're not using, you can store them, put them in your rig, and they're always there when you need them. We're here at our campsite and we're going to see just how uneven the ground is. You can probably tell by looking behind me, but let's take a look at this bubble level here and it shows you exactly where it's tilting to. Now, we're going to want to adjust our camper from side to side. And essentially this is what we're going to do. We're going to put a block on one side of it and you can see how it evens it out from there. So take that and we're going to apply it to our camper. So we're going to take three of the Stackers, stack them like this on top of each other, set them behind the tires, and we're going to back the camper up onto the top of these. And it should level things out, just like our level down here.We put a magnetic level here on the front of our trailer and you can see how uneven it is up here. So we're going to check this one again, after we pull it up on the blocks. Now, after we pull it up on our Stackers, let's check the level. Looks like it's pretty good. Now that we've got it parked on top of our Stackers, I'm going to go ahead and put the wheel chocks back in there. Now I'm going to go ahead and lower the jack down so I can disconnect it from our truck. With the truck pulled away, we can lower our camper back down and adjust our front to back to make sure it's level too. That looks about right there. Now we're ready to lower our stabilizer jack. I threw two of the Stackers underneath there just to help it get better ground contact. Plus, if you got gravel or just uneven ground, you can help fill in those gaps. We've already adjusted the front to back level and side to side level, so this'll be our last step. Make sure that makes contact. Then we're going to do the same thing on the other three stabilizer jacks on our camper. Now we're inside the RV to check the level one more time. We're going to do side to side first. Looks like we nailed it. Let's do front to back. Looks like we got it there too. Awesome. So this just goes to show you how easy it is to set up the blocks underneath your rig and even it out. That way you can go to any campgrounds. You don't have to worry about that anymore. You can set it up. It only adds a couple more steps to the set up process anyway, and it's one less thing you got to worry about.Well, I hope this helped. That does it for our look at the Stackers.

Very quick delivery. Everything was package nicely. Now the hard work of installing my leaf springs. I chose E-trailer because I expect they stock quality parts.

Very well made, will be used to interphase loading a Porsche into a trailer to raise the angle of approach in lieu of wood blocks. Also to be used to firm up our auto leveling studs in our Airstream Interstate 24, so they help by not sinking into the ground.

These blocks seem very sturdy and the built in handle is convenient.

by:

They work really well at the rear of the RV because of the duel wheels, but we had to use them at the front on one occasion. My RV is a freight liner Columbia Renegade Toterhome and it might be a bit to heavy for the blocks. We were at the racetrack as so we are parked on asphalt. It was very hot which could be partially to blame for crushing them slightly. I plan on getting a second set to double up at the front and try to distribute the weight better. Other than that they work great.

Stackers are such a simple solution to raise a wheel to level a trailer or RV. The bottoms grab the ground so they don't slide, and blocks lock together. If two were needed to gain the right height, I put two side by side in front of a tire and put a third across the middle of the two, making a little step. Pulling the trailer forward easily placed it on the highest block.

Dirt fell off easily, and only once did I need to rinse mud off of one.

The design makes them much lighter that the 2x8s I used to use.

I have a beast that weights a ton. Bought one of these locally and found it to be almost to indestructible. It's nice to have extras in the unit besides the 2x10's I use. These things are great and very portable. Thanks for an easy transaction and speedy (and free) shipping.

delivery prompt..these are to aid in balancing rv, and have yet to be used, but certainly going with us on next trip as construction, stackability and quality make these an easy choice.

With experience you realize a lot of leveller stackable blocks are required when you set up in a camp site. It’s never level ground...that’s why we now have approximately 30 Valterra stackable interlocking blocks. It’s nice to set up level and also when you put out the stabilizers there are times when you need more blocks so they can reach the ground. If you have to carry blocks for levelling they might as well be lightweight. If we carried wood blocks I couldn’t the added weight and aggravation. Highly recommended even if it’s stepping blocks to keep your entrance path to your RV steps. Less aggravation makes for a happy camper.

by:

Indispensable item for leveling anything and everything.

by:

Product just arrived in good shape. Nothing broken. Used all 10 under my trailer jack 4 correct height & no cracking yet. Jack pressure about 500lbs. I picked these because reviews were good. Other brands much cheaper but people complained about plastic breaking etc. So far so good. If your usage is the same as mine then don't toss the Velcro strap securing them. Keeps them together as a unit. The strap is not the handiest to mess with. Maybe use another set for leveling + a small box however I still use wood blocks for the 4 corners as they pack better 4 me.

by:

Works as expected/intended. Not quite big enough for a single block or stack of blocks to fit under the foot of my stabilizer jacks. Have to put two blocks side by side, so account for that in your estimate of how many you'll need. Have since cut some 18" 2X4's to use as a base under these, so if the ground is sandy/muddy the plastic blocks can't sink into the muck. Works like a charm.
Comes with a little velcro strip to bind the stack together.

by:

Better than hauling 2X8 lumber around!

by:

Tried these blocks out this weekend and worked pwrfectly. Easy to store and transport. And received them within 2-4 days!

by:

Everything came as described with no issues of damage. Electric jack was very easy to install. Towing mirrors are great allow me to see more especially when backing up my camper. Weight distribution hitch well without that I wouldnt have got my camper home. No sway issues, people have said its loud.... I didn't hear anything. Overall great products, fast shipping will definitely be ordering all my camper/towing needs from etrailer.com

by:

Use these leveling blocks constantly- they are under the trailer now. When you use something for what it’s built for and never look back or really think about it after you reach for it .... well there’s your sign. Would buy again and again.

  • How Can I Make My Trailer Jack Stand Taller
I have a solution for you, but the Valterra # A10-0900 is going to be the tallest jack stand that we have available. I recommend using one or two of the Stackers Leveling Block # A10-0917 under this jack stand to give you enough clearance to easily release the tension bars and remove them from your weight distribution hitch. You can also get a pack of 10 Stackers Leveling Blocks with part # A10-0918. Each Stacker Leveling Block will add 1-3/8" of lift to your jack stand.

  • Comparing the Ultra-Fab and Stackers Leveling Blocks
The Lynx Leveling Blocks you have will not work with the Ultra-Fab Leveling Blocks part # UF48-979051. The reason for this is that the surface pattern which is used to lock them together is different. You would need to either purchase more of the Lynx Leveling Blocks or a new set of Ultra-Fab Leveling Blocks. In order to minimize the amount of blocks needed to level your trailer you may also be interested in the Stackers Leveling Blocks part # A10-0918 which are 1-3/8" tall compared to...

  • Are There Larger Foot Pads To Use On RV Scissor Jacks
I do have an option for you but the Ultra-Fab Footplate for Landing Gear and Stabilizer Jacks part # UF17-940006 are made for landing gear legs, not scissor jacks. That said, they don't really make anything that would increase the surface area of the foot on a scissor jack so if this is what you need you would have to look at separate blocks such as the Stackers Leveling Blocks for Trailers part # A10-0916 for a quantity of four or part # A10-0917 for a quantity of one.

  • Dimensions of Stackers Leveling Block # A10-0917
The Stackers Leveling Block # A10-0917 is 8-3/16 x 8-3/16 x 1-3/8. If you measure out to the edge of the handle on the side it is about 10 inches total. I've attached a video to assist. These are available in kits as well ( # A10-0916, # A10-0920, # A10-0918)
