Video Transcript for Feature Review Hopkins Rear View, Side-to-Side Trailer Level

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Hopkins Rear View Side to Side Trailer Level, part number HM04115. The Hopkins Rear View Trailer Level is the sure solution for leveling out your camper, RV, or fifth wheel. It features a large scale which makes it easily visible from your truck's mirrors. As an added bonus, the kit comes with second small level so you can lever your front to back. The large scale features numerical indicators, which are in inches, that are printed both forward and backward, which makes it easily legible from you're vehicle's mirrors. The small level is your standard three scale level and both levels feature a green liquid for easy visibility.

The scale itself is surrounded by an aluminum casing so it's going to resist rust and corrosion. It measures eight and three quarters long by two and a quarter inches wide. Now that we've gone over some of the features, I'll go ahead and show you how to get it installed, but first and foremost we need to make sure our trailer is level front to back and side to side. Let's go ahead and do our front to back first. As you can see our trailer is out of level. We just need to come down in the front just a little bit.

What we're going to do is we're just going to have a buddy go ahead and lower it down for us and I'll say when. Go ahead. A little bit more. Let's go with that right there, perfect. Now with our front to back level, I'm going to go ahead and take my carpenter's level and do the side to side.

What I'm going to do is I'm going to lay it down on our A frame. As you can see our side to side is slightly out of level. What we're going to do is we're going to go ahead and have a buddy go around and adjust our stabilizers until we get it level. All right, just a little bit more. Perfect. Now that we've got our camper level all the way around, we can go ahead and take our new Hopkins Rear View Level and place it on.

It doesn't really matter where we place it on there, but since it is a large level, we want to place it so we can see it in one of our mirrors. We're going to place it right here so we can see it in our driver's side. It's got four mounting holes so we can run some hardware through. You will, however, need to provide your own hardware. For this demonstration today we're using some double sided tape. It's not a bad idea to do that before you actually run your screws through. We'll go ahead and place it gently on the camper, making sure that it's level. Give it a nice push on and it should level out. If we we're permanently mounting this, we could now run our hardware through. Now we can take our added bonus level and place it here on the side of our trailer to level out our front and back. This one does come with an adhesive backing, so you want to make sure and have a nice clean area before you stick that on. That's going to complete our look at the Hopkins Rear View Side to Side Trailer Level, part number HM04115. .

Very easy to see

Will do the job but disappointed that it is not stick-on but requires drilling holes in the camper’s fiberglass and Azdel walls.

Never used it as I did not want to drill holes in the fiberglass and Azdel walls. The small level that comes with it is a ten cent item. I did attach it to an interior wall but certainly was not worth the overall cost.

Hopkins Level fluid lost its color after about 6 months but it still works great and I can still see it just fine. I would buy one again.

Anderson Camper wheel chocks work great and make it easier to level, Have used them 10 times this year. One of the chocks has cracked up the back side but I do not believe it affects how it works, more time will tell. Still happy with them at this time and they do have a lifetime warranty so I can always have it replaced if needed. I would recommend this product. 33Ft Bumper pull.
