Jeff Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Bauer Products Right Hand European Style Entry Camper Door Lock. Now this locking latch will let you secure the entry door on your camper or your travel trailer, and this one, you can see is the new European style handle, which is a vertical grab handle that provides you with a larger surface area to grab the handle with and makes it easier to use. We've mentioned it's a right hand configuration, so it does install on the left side of the doors exterior, and you can see, it has the dual locking cylinders, comes with the two keys, but basically what you do is put the key in there, you put it in on the handle, and turn it a quarter of a turn that way and remove it, that'll keep anybody from opening that. So you can see that if you pull on the handle, it won't unlock the door, and the same way up at the top here, you can see, the deadbolt is already blocked. If you turn that this way, you can see that'll unlock the deadbolt, but it still keeps that handle lock, and again, if you want that deadbolt back, just turn it the other way.

And then to unlock that handle, just go ahead and put your key back in there, and turn it that quarter of a turn up, and that'll release the handle, you can pull it, and you can see that already sit that way. Now, that's on the exterior side, on the interior side, you can see it has this handle here that'll allow you to open the door, and then for the deadbolt, this handle up at the top, you can see if the red dot is showing you locked, you can see that it's locked position, if you turn it that way and unlocks the deadbolt, and then we can open the door that way on the interior side. This is a nice die-cut zinc construction, it's coated with a nice matte black finish. If you notice right here, this one has a rubberized foam gasket all the way around to provide a nice tight seal against your door. This part does include everything shown here, the door lock handle, the two keys, and the striker plate are all included.

Now, this can be keyed alike to match other Bauer locks. To order the keyed alike, you do select keyed alike from the dropdown menu that's on the product page of this part, and then enter the number of locks in the quantity box. Again, the specs on this, it's a right hand configuration, installs on the left side of the door's exterior. A few dimensions on this, the height of it is about eight inches tall, the width of just the handle, from here to here, that's gonna be about 4 1/4 inches wide, and the minimum door thickness this will fit is 1 1/2 inches. Again, just pull on the handle to open the door from the outside, from inside, just twist the handle to open it, and then to lock it, right now its deadbolt's locked, to unlock it, just like that.

On the outside, you put your key in, and just hold it like that, it'll unlock the deadbolt, take your key out, it's unlocked, But that should do it for the review on the Bauer Products Right Hand European Style Entry Camper Door Lock..
