Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a look at this Greystone standard stainless steel RV microwave. This microwave provides multiple mounting options that lets you place it where you have room. It can be installed in a cabinet to save space in your RV kitchen. A trim kit is sold separately to provide a clean finished look. And it has rubber feet and you can see two of them right here, as we look at the rear of the microwave.
It has a total of four rubber feet at the bottom to keep it from sliding across your counter, to provide a free-standing option. Now, this microwave delivers a 900-watt output and a power consumption of 1,350 watts, and it features a 6-auto cook setting. And so just to point out what we have here with these auto cook setting buttons, our first one is our popcorn button, then we have baked potato, pizza, beverage, frozen dinner, and reheat. Then of course we have our number pad, we have a clock button to set our clock, our reset button. Then we have our power level, cook timer, cook by weight, defrost by weight, speed defrost, and then our start/stop button, and of course our button to open up the door of our microwave.
This has 10 power levels to heat food quickly and efficiently. And the touch control panel has a control lock to prevent accidental use. And to activate that, you would just simply press in the reset button for three seconds, and it will chirp at you. right there to let you know that the touch panel is locked. So, I'm just randomly hitting some buttons here, and it is beeping at me, letting me know that this is locked.
So, this is gonna be great, especially if you have kids that might accidentally push this, they're not gonna activate this microwave. To unlock, you just hit that recent button again, hold it down for three seconds, it beeps again. And now this is unlocked. We do have an LED display that's gonna show the timer, the clock, and other activated functions. Wanna turn my lights off here in the studio and hopefully you can see that a little bit.
It says 143 and the numbers there are going to illuminate green. And then the cooking functions, or just the functions in general, are gonna have a red indicator. So for instance, this says clock, so that's what's actually going on in that display right now, but when you go through other functions of the microwave, there'll be a red indicator on that display letting you know what's taking place. While I have the lights off, I'm gonna go ahead and open up the door here, so you can see that the inside does light up as well, so this is gonna be great for low light conditions or when you get up in the middle of the night for that, cook a midnight snack, you're gonna have no problem seeing in your microwave. Now, while we have the door open, I wanna mention that the capacity is 0.9 cubic feet. We do have interior measurements of this microwave on this product page, so if that's something that you're interested in, you can find those measurements on this product page. This does include a glass turntable that's going to rotate slowly to evenly heat your food. And that glass turntable measures 10 1/2 inches in diameter. This is a durable, this is of a durable construction, it's vibration and corrosion resistant. And I'm gonna pull out my tape measure here and just give you some overall measurements to help you make sure that this is gonna work for the space that you're thinking of in your RV's kitchen. So, the overall width, we are sitting right at 19 inches. And then the overall depth, I'm going to be including that area in the back there where it sticks out there just a little bit. So, lining that up, we are siting right at about a little over 14 inches, probably close to about 14 1/4 inches deep. And then looking at the height, I'm going to be including this vent here at the top, so I'm gonna be starting from where this microwave is gonna be sitting on all the way to that vent. We're sitting right at 13 1/2 inches tall. Now, the voltage is 120 volts AC at 60 hertz. And the operating frequency is 2,450 megahertz. The power cord length, and I have this power cord plugged into an extension cord presently, but that power cord length is 42 inches long. And this microwave weighs about 34 pounds. And this does include a manual to go in a little more detail and in-depth on the functions that some of which we covered during our time together, but that manual will go in a little more detail about that. I like this brand because despite is a 900 watts the heating is higher than the average of the same watts in other brands. The order was fast it came on time and excellent customer service. Yes I would definitely recommend it.
The unit arrived on time in excellent condition. This unit is the exact replacement of our original in our Forrest River Wildwood.
The installation only took minutes and now my spouse is very happy!!!

This is a replacement for the original unit in our trailer. It worked well, but I would have thought it should last longer than 8yrs(summers).
Replaced original microwave that came with my Class C that I ruined by letting liquid spill down to the motor. Warning !!! It has been great not to hard for two RV newbies to install. The outer casing was a little larger than the original but we were able to screw it into the surrounding shelf.
Only CON- It doesn't have a preset for 30 secs. You have to press your wanted time every time.
Microwave oven went out on a trip and found trailer website and ordered a new one. I was easy to order and arrived within ,4 days. Would use them again.
I installed it in our class B motor home haven't had a chance to use it.
The Greystone microwave was easy to install and looks real nice, hope to be able
to use it in the near future. We bought several items from ETrailer and have
been very happy with all their products.
Replaced the OEM microwave/convection oven in a 2010 Winnebago Via. With the stainless surround, it was a nearly seamless fit. Appears to be working well, with limited use thus far.
Ok I almost never do reviews because everyone asks for them and it’s just gotten out of hand. But they caught me in a weak moment. The microwave was purchased to replace one that stopped working. We’ve liked it’s operation and it looks good. It was easy to install. So I’m happy with it.

It has only worked a hand full of times in that year and currently does not work.
All good so far, used on a few trips. Product works as it should without issues and we like it!
We haven't used the microwave much, but it works well and was very easy to install.

Excellent replacement for our 2013 Keystone Raptor 300MP. Installation was a breeze-almost “plug and play” as fit in pre-existing area was perfect.
The unit was fairly easy to install and replaced an original microwave in a Four Winds camper that had stopped working. This review did not have a higher rating as two of the feet were broken when the product was unpacked. Looking forward to a road trip in a couple of weeks when we can check it out.

We were 2 weeks into a 3 month trip and our Microwave died. etrailer was great and shipped 2 day to the middle of nowhere (Utah). Thus saving the trip (and marriage).
The microwave is basic, but replaced like unit. I'm sure there are some new features we will figure out, since old one was mfg 2015.

Powerful little microwave, Use it primarily to re-heat food. Door is a little flimsy, but besides that, it serves it's purpose.

The order process was easy and delivered promptly. Installation was a snap ( with a helpful friend ). Microwave worked just fine.
I have since traded my RV for a larger model. But I’m sure that it still works fine
Had a power surge while traveling in Arizona last year. It took out the Dometic microwave. Could not find a replacement Dometic that would fit in the cabinet so went without for some time. Researched many different microwaves from different RV accessory businesses and could not find anything that would not require modificaiton of the cabinet. Finally went on etrailer.com and found much more information regarding dimensions of unit and dimensions of the trim kit. Read many reviews and determined the Greystone unit would work for us. Placed the order, it arrived in less than a week, installed it with absolutely no difficulty and I am now a happy camper. It is a little smaller than the original but for what I use it for, the size change will not matter. I liked the price as well. Most microwaves today are combined with convection ovens and I do not find the convection ovens worth the money.This Greystone is just a simple microwave for defrosting frozen goods, warming leftovers, heating up cereals and vegetables which is what I use the microwave for primarily. Will use etrailer whenever we can.
