We are blown away with the quality of this unit and the surround. The installation was very straightforward even in a 1973 Airstream. The surround is very forgiving of past cuts and it really just polishes off the installation. Once installed this unit has no movement and is very sturdy. I will highly recommend to anyone in multiple types of installations.

Hey Lawrence, it looks like we do not have the Furrion FMAN09BL microwave you're referring to, but we do have the High Pointe Built-In Convection Microwave with Air Fryer # HP56ZR for black or # HP36ZR for silver. These microwaves are going to be basically identical to the Furrion microwave you mentioned earlier but is just a bit bigger at 1.0 cubic feet compared to the 0.9 cubic feet. Recommended 1,000 Watt Microwave With Mounting Kit
Wayne, it does not look like the Greystone Built-In RV Convection Microwave # GR27FR include a mounting bracket. I actually wasn't able to find one at all for that model. They make one for their smaller # 324-000106 microwave, but nothing for the larger model. If you're not married to Greystone, High Pointe does have one that is similar to # GR27FR that includes a mounting kit # HP36ZR.

It does appear the new unit will easily fit into place but as the RV manufacturer can build 2 units at the same time and they be different you will want to ensure your current microwave was installed as per High Pointe's instructions.

Why Isn't My Microwave Heating Up
Phil, if your microwave is not heating up then you may have a burnt out diode or a bad microwave door switch. If the microwave door switch is damaged, the microwave will look like it's working, but won't actually heat up anything. If the diode has burnt out, this could indicate a short, which would allow electrical flow in both direction. Since there are no replacement parts available, you'd have to replace it with something else. It'd be up to you if you want to reuse the same microwave...
