Worked great for a camp site that had 15amp hook up. This power cord adapter worked great

Just got my rv adapter cord from Service and delivery was fast! Everything is working like it should. The folks at etrailer were very prompt and helpful, I knew exactly when my order would arrive. I plan on getting several more items from y'all for my rig. Thanks again!

Mike M.

Working out great. E trailer is the go to place for everything trailer camperaccessories.

I bought this dogbone style adapter for use with our Aliner camper and use it whenever setup at home or the occassional campground w/o 30 amp outlets. The molded handles make it very easy and safe to plug and unplug. Looks like it will last for as long as I do, and at a good price.

Great unit

Arrived as expected item. Appreciated the help getting an item comparable with my needs.

Product was as advertised and arrived on time.
The tracking information was great service amazing I have book marked the web site and will be using them in the future.

The product is well made works great and i have not had any problems at all. Great product

Purchased this item to use at our RV storage since the plug was crowded with the other adapter we had and would not stay plugged in. This one works like a champ and keeps the large 30amp plug head out of the way. Highly recommend this if you want to make room around a standard plug.

etrailer offers dependable and fast delivery. Online ordering is easy. I found this trailer adapter, heavy gauge wiring that handles your power needs. Ergonomic in design Which makes it easy to use.

Good product. Have not had the heat issues I have had from the little 15 to 30 amp adapters. Of course, need to manage current load when using any adapter.

It came in good shape, looks like it works perfectly, the only thing is that the fastest I could get it was 7-10 days from having ordered it. Just bought a trailer to live in, didn't know I needed this piece until I bought the trailer, but it would've been awesome if I could have gotten this piece faster. I could only find 1 place with better prices. Like I said, awesome quality, awesome price, but the delivery wait is a killer unless you're on the east coast

Needed dog bone for camping with our new tear drop trailer. Also ordered a 30- 15 adapter. Love the finger grips.

Quick delivery to. Recommend this company.

performs as described. Seems to be very heavy duty so it should last a good amount of time. Expect to use this to plug into 15amp service at my house and then into RV so I can start the frig before we hit the road. Seems like they pulled it out of stock but didn't ship it until i sent them an email, then it when out that day and arrived via USPS.

A lot of the adapters out there don't hold up to the rigors of full time use. After a year, this still looks new, no corrosion, no cracking, no damage.

Very solid connectors, heavy gauge cable. Well made. Big improvement over the little "block" that we were using.

This 15am dog bone worked perfectly. etrailer’s customer experience was the best I have received. I’ll be looking to etrailer first in the future.

Bought a 15 amp to 30 amp adapter from these good folks, got it today and am very, very happy with it. A very quality product delivered timely with no hiccups to my po box here in Alaska. George was kind enough to send me a confirmation email as a follow-up and I really appreciate the efforts made by him and the crew.
Great job folks!
I will be ordering from them in the future.
Thanks again!

Everything is fine Carol we got what we were looking for. Thank you very much it is very nice to have etrailer available for us

SUPER fast shipping, accurate to the T, IM HAPPY,THANK YOU AAAAA+++++ ....well with the money you can't beat the price .....ITS TANK STRONG ....THIS IS MY FIRST BUY FROM ETRAILER THERE A STAND UP COMPANY ................

Perfect item, well made, great price. Will allow us to have backup generator for our RV. Good communication.

RV electric adapter arrived on time at a great price.
Thank you for your great service.

While the Mighty Cord Adapters part # A10-1530HVP and # A10-1530 are very similar there is one key difference. The wire gauge of the # A10-1530 is 10 gauge and the # A10-1530HVP is 12 gauge.

  • Will 30 Amp Adapter for 110V Outlet Trip Breaker
Adapters won't give you extra power, but a breaker won't trip so long as you stay within its limits when using an adapter like the Mighty Cord Dogbone RV Power Cord Adapter - 30 Amp Female to 15 Amp Male # A10-1530HVP that plugs into a standard 110V outlet. They will need to limit their power consumption to that of the breaker, which is likely 20 amps, or it will trip the breaker.

  • Best Adapter For Connecting 30-AMP RV Camper To Household 15-AMP Outlet
Yes, The Mighty Cord RV Power Cord Adapter Plug # A10-1530AVP will allow you to connect your 30-amp RV cord directly to a standard 15 amp outlet. I do prefer to use the Adapter # A10-1530HVP with its having the 12" pigtail. This short lead allows more of the weight of the cord to rest on the ground reducing the chances of the cord falling out of the outlet due to its weight. It is also much easier and safer to disconnect from the wall as well as the 2 cords giving the pull rings on each...

  • Pin and Receptacle Style for RV Power Cord Adapter - 125V - 30 Amp Female to 15 Amp Male
The end that plugs into 110 volt outlets is the typical 3-prong with a ground. The other end is a 3-prong receptacle with the top two being blade style and the lower center one a typical rounded ground. I have included a picture showing both ends.

  • Adapter for Going for House Shore Power to RV with 30 Amp Connector
We have several different RV power cord adapters available for a wide variety of situations. I attached a link to a page that has all of the different options we have where you can select from the filters what your RV has and what the shore power source is. For example if you have a standard 15 amp plug as a source and have a 30 amp outlet on your RV you'd need the # A10-1530HVP.

  • Adapter Needed To Plug In A SmartPlug 30 Amp Power Cord At Home
To plug your SmartPlug RV Power Cord and Stainless Steel Inlet # SM39FR into your home you can either install a 30amp outlet which would have slanted prong receptacles like the plug pictured below or you can use the Mighty Cord RV Power Cord Adapter # A10-1530HVP to plug into your standard outlet. This adapter isn't going to give you full power for your RV since you'd be pulling from a 15amp source. If you're wanting to receive 30amps you'll have to install a 30amp outlet, which can be...

  • Electrical Cord and Adapter to Connect 50-Amp Motorhome Power Inlet to Standard Household Outlet
Motorhome 50-amp male power inlets require a cord with a 50 Amp Twist Lock female plug like the one on the Mighty Cord 25-foot # A10-3050EDBK. But since the other end of this cord has a 30-amp male connector, not a 15-amp household supply male connector, you will also need a dogbone adapter # A10-1530HVP to give you the standard 120V male plug to connect to a household outlet.

  • How to Hook a Cargo Trailer Up to Shore Power
In order to wire your cargo trailer for both 12 volt DC and 110 volt AC power you would need to install a AC/DC distribution panel and power converter which we currently do not offer. You would then wire the 12 volt power to the converter along with all of your 110 volt outlets. In order to hook up to shore power you would first need to install a power inlet like the Epicord 30 Amp Twist Lock Power Inlet part # 277-000138. Once the power inlet is installed you would then need an electrical...

  • Recommended RV Extension Cord and Adapter for Mini RV
We do have a 20 Amp extension cord available, which is the Mighty Cord RV Extension Cord # A10-G20253E. In order to use this you will need to have a twist lock plug on your mini RV. Unfortunately there are no 20 Amp adapters that will work for you. That being said, I recommend verifying that 20 Amps is correct. It would not be the first time someone was given the wrong information and you want to make sure you have the right equipment. More than likely you need a 30 Amp and not a 20 Amp....

  • Adapter Needed To Go From A 30 Amp RV Power Cord To A 15 Amp Outlet
The Furrion Replacement RV Power Inlet # F30ITSSS is just a twist-lock design so if you switched to this you would just need a 30 amp power cord like part # F3OR36SBOEM. To go from the power cord to a 15 amp outlet you'd just need an adapter like part # A10-1530HVP. If you install the Furrion Power Inlet # F30ITSSS yourself you'll want to use some non-sag sealant # 344270341437-1 around the outer edge to help fully waterproof.
