Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Mighty Cord RV Power Cord Adaptor Plug. This is a 30 amp male to 30 amp female. The detachable RV adaptor plug is used in adapting 30 amp power for use for 30 amp trailers. It's gonna feature a threaded locking ring here on the female side. That's gonna offer a very secure connection to your RV or camper. The adaptor is molded of durable long lasting PVC construction. It's also gonna have the finger indentions along here.
It allows for an easy grip design. Just allows for easy and better handling of the adaptor plug. A few measurements I want to go over with you real quick. If we take a measurement from the bottom of the locking ring to the housing right here that's gonne give a measurement of about two and 1/4 inches. Then the overall length of the unit measuring from end to end. We're looking about four and 1/8 of an inch. That's going to do it for today's look at the Mighty Cord RV Power Cord Adaptor Plug.

As adapters go this one has given me the current I need! My only concern is that I cannot close the electric panel because the plug is now 6ish inches long.

I purchased this device as a replacement for a much larger pigtail that did the same job. That is, adapted a marine 30 amp twist-lock female connection to an RV male connection. As it turned out, this device does not twist-lock properly; however, the screw lock keeps the marine connection in place. Even though it hangs at an angle because the twist-lock is not properly engaged, the RV extension cord stays on the male connection and has not come loose.
Overall, this was worth the investment. If the twist-lock worked properly, I would have given the device an Excellent rating.
Robert - 12/24/2019Appears to be a quality well made product. I plan to use it with my TT. I will plug this into the receptacle on the trailer, attach another adapter that reduces the connection to common 120V plug then use a standard outdoor extension cord to plug into the 120V service provided by the storage facility where I store my camper. This will help maintain the battery and insure that it is fully charged when we are ready to use it. Also, I will not have to expose my expensive shoreline to would be thieves.
Shipping was a disappointment. I purchased $100 worth of merchandise on 3/14 (Wednesday) , qualified for free shipping and received that order in 2 days on Friday. I ordered this item the next day 3/15 Thursday, paid an extra few $ for shipping and just received it today 3/20(Tuesday). I only blame etrailer for using UPS. I had a earlier shipping disappointed using etrailer and UPS. I paid extra for two day shipping and didn't receive my order until the day after I needed the product. If I had the option I would use FedEx.

Just as described, ordered 2 different styles to cover all my options for connecting my generator and they fit the bill perfectly. Had originally ordered a 50' 10 gauge extension cable and 2 adapters from a different company and the adapters they sent with the cable did not fit the cable!!!!! Pretty dumb eh? Anyway I ordered these from etrailer and they are great and even more compact than the wrong ones I had. Thanks etrailer.
Functions well at a fair price.
I needed a shorter cord to run to my generator and the shortest cord with this 30amp connection was 25'. I used a 15 ' extension with this adaptor...... perfect!
Was thinking I will never need this and was going to send it back. etrailer was super helpful when I mentioned I might return. I really appreciate their excellent customer service. So I will keep it. I am sure I will forget to check with a park some day and find out I need this item. Again, kudos for customer service!!!!
