Works great! Much lighter than the 50 amp cord that came with the 5th wheel!( 23’ with one Ac unit. It doesn’t require a 50 amp cord)

by:

I bought this to use at my house. It will save me from having to drag the long and heavy 50 amp cord and 30 amp adapter in and out of the trailer at home, which will be much more convenient. It is the perfect length to reach from the house, on the door side of the trailer, to the off door side of the trailer.
I recommend etrailer.

by:

Haven't been able to use it yet but I can tell it is good quality.

by:

I ordered the power cable due to installing 2 Easystart in my AC Unit to reduce the power load on my Airstream Trailer. Last Sunday I final tested the system using the new power cable and running one ac unit with my honda 2000 generator. I ran it for 4 hours and the power cable never got hot or warm. This newer lighter 50 amp to 30 amp will make my setup easier. I only need the heavier 50 amp cable if I'm planning on using both AC units. Great product.

by:

Arrived as promised and appears to be proper. I have not yet tried it out. I bought this to replace the very large and very heavy 50amp cord that came with our rig, we do not have 2 a/c units as such do not need a 50amp service. So i can lighten our load a bit, I do wish it had a light on the cord to show power is on, but it is a minor thing.

by:

Cord is 50 amp to the RV and 30 amp to electric post. Sure beats having to use an adapter. Great product and price though I could have used 5 more foot of cord. etrailer shipping great as usual!

by:

I ordered a 30 amp RV power cord with a 50 amp female connection to replace the heavy 50 amp cord.. i was impresses with how quickly Etrailer shipped the ordered product. This cord supplies ample current to my camper and is easy for me to handle and store. My only disappointment is the lock ring that I cannot get to screw onto the connection. That noted, I am very satisfied with the product and appreciate the quick response to my order.

by:

Was tired of pulling out that heavy and cumbersome 50amp cord and adapters when I’m plugging into a 15 or 30 amp service. This cord is very well constructed and much lighter than my 50amp cord. Would recommend this product for all you old fart RVrs out there.-.

by:

The product works well. I have a 50 amp rig and was looking for a way to not have to use adapters when only having 30 amp available. Also my 50 amp cord is heavy. If I only have 30 amp available, I use this new cord.

What is most impressive is that I ordered this on a Wednesday afternoon and needed it by Thursday; Friday would be too late. The Sales Rep Julie told me she would expedite it to ship out that afternoon so I could have it by Thursday. I live outside Chicago. Julie made it happen and I did receive it on Thursday. Not only that, she e-mailed me to notify me that it had arrived. This is what I call excellent customer service.

by:

It's still cold up here, but this is just what I was looking for. How many times do you curse having to wrestle a 50amp cord when you're not going to run two AC's or other power hogs..... for that matter, too many parks still only have 30amp anyway. This is a nice, manageable size and weight.

by:

Cord did not make it in the delivery time given. I ordered this on a Saturday. It was to arrive on the following Wednesday before memorial weekend. It was packed and sent out on Wednesday and did not make it for Memorial Day weekend.
I will update on product on our next trip.

by:

Needed an extension cord for some of the camping I do that has 30 AMP service. Product arrived 2 days after ordering. Haven't used it yet but will update once I have! Thank You etrailer for making my search so easy.

by:

I wanted a light weight 30a cord when I didn't need the full 60A at the campsite or in the RV parking spot. The cord is soft and pliable to coil, uncoil even in cooler temperatures.

by:

I like it very much. Much lighter a flexable than the 50 amp cord. When I dry camp I can only run one AC unit anyway. Don't have to lug around the Bulky 50 amp cord.

by:

Purchased to replace heavy 50 amp shore cord which did not need.enjoyed light weight plus fits great no problems

by:

It is just what I needed for 30 amp hookups. I now have a 30 amp and a 50 amp cable and don't need all the little go between gizmos. Also the 30 amp cable is a lot lighter than the 50 amp cable.. Got what I ordered in good time.

by:

Every time we order from E-trailer we are very satisfied. Whatever we order is shipped out right away and arrives precisely on time. The products are always as discribed!
We are very pleased with our current and past purchases and will bo ordering from Etrailer in the future. These are worry free transactions.

by:

Haven't actually used it yet, but it seems well made. I would have been happier had it been just a bit longer. I need an extension cord, but those all seem to be TOO long . . .

by:

Product seems to work as it should. Would like to have some sort of LED light on the plug that indicates it is connected to power.

by:

Works great when you don’t need 50 amps. Lot lighter cord. Fast shipping and notification

by:

hooked up my two Honda 2000I generators to the house and works awesome...

by:

Nice product! Way lighter than that heavy 50a cord that came with the trailer.

by:

Great product came on time and hooks up just find now I don't have to use the heavy 50 amp cord at home much easier to handle Thanks

by:

  • Longer RV Power Cord with 30 amp Male and 50 amp Female Connectors
I've linked all of the cords we have with a 30 amp male end and 50 amp female end. None of them are 5 feet but we do have a couple, like part # A10-3050EDBK, that are 25 feet long.

  • Recommended 30 Amp Male to 50 Amp Female Twist Lock Cord for RV Power
We do have the connections you are seeking in a cable, but the cable is 25 feet long. I recommend the Mighty Cord RV Power Cord Adapter - 50 Amp Twist Lock Female to 30 Amp Male - 25' # A10-3050EDBK. Your option for a shorter cord is to make one shorter using the Mighty Cord 10' RV Power Cord Extension w/ Handle - 125V - 30 Amp # A10-3010EH or 15 foot # A10-3015EH and then cut the female end to install the Mighty Cord Replacement Twist Lock Connector for RVs - Female - 50 Amps # A10-50FDT.

  • Solution for Connecting 50 Amp Plug from Trailer to 30 Amp Power Source

  • Recommended 50 Amp to 30 Amp Adapter for Camper Trailer
I recommend using the Mighty Cord Dogbone RV Power Cord Adapter # A10-3050FBK with your the Mighty Cord RV Power Cord # A10-5025ED. This has 90 degree connectors which make it ideal for tight spaces. Another option (which I like better) is to use the Mighty Cord RV Power Cord Adapter # A10-3050EDBK because you are just using 1 wire and not making multiple connections between your camper and power source. By using two adapters you will be able to get the two plugs you need.
