Today we're going to take a look at the Mighty Cord 50 foot long RV power cord extension with the LED lighted ends. Now, this heavy duty 50 amp 125 250 volt RV power cord will extend power up to 50 feet from the original power source. The female end right here, will connect to your RV's 50 amp power source. The male plug here, will plug into a 50 amp receptacle at the RV park. Both ends, they use these easy grip folding end handles; which makes plugging in the power cord very easy and convenient, and also helps when removing them. What's nice about those, and again we're on both ends here, is when you're done with using the handle you just flip it up out of the way. Now, also you'll notice the LED connectors on each end. Basically, when this is plugged in or connected to power, the LED connectors on both ends will light up; make it very easy to see in low light conditions.
Now, this power cord is constr4ucted with heavy duty 4 wire, 6 and 8 gauge size wire. Does have a 50 amp rating. Again, the length on this cord is 50 feet. I was glad that you had that cord. The RV park that our 5th wheel trailer is park is set up to service 2 units at the same time (each has their own electric meter). The power outlet was farther away than the power cord that came with the trailer could reach. I bought the cord because a lot of camp grounds have weird set ups for electric and now I can reach pretty much anywhere. If its farther than the cord I wont park there. Thanks for the fast service...looking forward to buying more products from you.
After having use 225 foot 50 amp cords for 10 years, the electrician who came out to do a “repair job“ on the connectors indicated that many of the problems that we had experienced over the years would have been bypassed by a 50 foot cable. The fact that the ends are lit also eliminates questions as to any interruption of power and it’s potential source.

I contacted customer service and they immediately responded with a suggestion for my application and the return information. Bravo etrailer!!
Bought as backup or for longer runs to shore power but as of yet have not needed it.
We have not used it but, I am giving 5 stars because it is actually the right size... We ordered a different one from another seller and they used 10 AWG wire instead of the heavier 6 & 8 wire.... Glad we found it here!!
