pure sine wave inverter

This 24V inverter changes DC output from your RV batteries into AC power and sends it to the electrical system. Using pure sine wave technology, it creates clean power with low distortion, making it safe, efficient, and perfect for sensitive electronics like computers. Plus, the inverter can generate 6,000 starting watts and 3,000 running watts which is a great fit for larger appliances and electronics.

Functions and Features

outlets and terminals on inverter

The inverter includes a hardwired AC terminal for AC loads, positive and negative DC input terminals that connect to your batteries, and a port for a fixed-mount remote (sold separately). It has a function switch that lets you select different output voltages (100V, 110V, 115V, and 120V) and frequencies (50Hz and 60Hz). This switch can also turn the power saver on and off. Additionally, the power saving adjustment dial near the function switch sets the input and wake up thresholds for the power saver.

The system includes a number of safety features. It offers protection from over/under voltage, overloading, and overcurrent. The inverter also uses a heat sink process to protect from extreme temperatures, and an internal cooling fan removes excess heat from the unit.

fuse block

For additional safety, installing a fuse between the battery bank and the inverter will protect your equipment from power surges. The Go Power 200-amp fuse block (sold separately) works with this unit and uses a slow blow time-delay feature to withstand surge current. This means it can handle short surges over 200 amps without blowing the fuse, which is great for devices with motors that require more energy to start.

How It Installs

The inverter mounts inside your RV in a dry location with ventilation. It should be installed in close proximity to the battery bank, but not in the same compartment. The DC terminals are wired to the battery bank. There are several ways to connect the inverter to your RV's electrical system, but this will depend on your rig and how you want to use your inverter.

Available Fixed-Mount Remotes Provide Easy Monitoring and Control

There are 2 fixed-mount remotes (sold separately) that let you monitor and control the inverter from inside your RV.

GP-SWR-A inverter remote

For a simple, no-frills option, the Go Power GP-SWR-A Inverter Remote lets you turn your inverter on and off from inside your RV. It also has a LED which indicates the inverter's status.

GP-ISW-R-12 inverter remote

For additional features, the Go Power GP-ISW-R-24 Inverter Remote provides LED indicators that display the voltage, output power, inverter status, power saving mode status, and fault conditions. It also has a power button that controls the inverter.

Video Transcript for Complete Breakdown of the Go Power Industrial Pure Sine Wave Inverter

Today we're going to take a look at the Go Power 24 volt, 3,000 watt industrial pure sine wave inverter. Now this 3,000 watt industrial pure sine wave inverter will provide AC power for electronics and appliances. Basically, it'll change your battery's DC output and to clean AC power and send it to your RV's electrical system. It uses pure sine wave technology, which will provided a nice clean power and low distortion, replicates your household AC power, and allows you to run and see devices safely and efficiently, including sensitive electronics. Has a function switch on this end. This will let you select different voltages and frequencies, controls the power saving mode.

Right next to it, there's a little hole with a screw in there. That's a power saving adjustment dial that will set the input and wake up power thresholds. And right below it you'll see three led lights. These led indicators will show input voltage level, output load level, and fault conditions. This does offer built in safety features to protect your RVs electrical system. Has current protection for over and under voltage, for short circuiting, overloading, and over and under temperatures.

On this end, it has a cooling fan which will control the temperature of the inverter and remove excess heat out of the unit that can be generated by this unit.It does have multiple connection points to let you secure cables and external devices to the inverter. It includes a hardwire AC output terminal right here. On the other end, has your DC input terminals, and make your connections, and it has a remote port right up here. Now they do also offer a fixed mount remote, which we sell separately on our website. This'll let you monitor and control the inverter from inside your RV.That's part number 34280231, and they also have a fuse block installation kit.

Again, it's sold separately. This will let you safely connect the inverter to your RV battery, protects your electrical system during power use. And again, it's sold separately. It's part number 324GPDCKIT3.Few specs on this again, it's application is 24 volt battery systems. Rated power on this unit, running rated power output is 3,000 watts.

Starting surge power output is 6,000 watts. Voltage, maximum power is 24 volts DC. Input is 21 to 33 volts DC. Output is 100 to 120 volts AC. Temperature ranges. Operating range for this unit is a negative four degrees Fahrenheit to 104 degrees Fahrenheit. Storage range is negative 22 degrees Fahrenheit up to 158 degrees Fahrenheit. Does include everything I laid out here on the table. The inverter itself, the two ring lugs that make your DC connections right over here, and the DC terminal covers. In other words, once you make your connections like that, you do want to have these covers. There's a black and a red one. You match them up to the colors over here. And those would install over your DC connections. Has the screws to attach them. And with your ring lugs in there making a connection, it'll help keep it from any shorting out. Also comes with this nice user's manual that they'll describe how to install everything and how it operates. A few dimensions on this. The overall length, 17 and three eighths inches long. The width on it, 10 and one sixteenths inches wide. And the height on it is six and a quarter inches tall. The weight on this unit is only about 18 pounds. But that should do it for the review on the Go Power 24 volt, 3,000 watt industrial pure sine wave inverter.

  • Using Other Solar Panels to Create Go Power Solar Extreme Charging Kit
To create the Go Power Solar Extreme Charging System # 34282552 without the solar panels would take quite a bit of piecing together. But at it's core would be the Go Power Pure Sine Wave Inverter # 34279953, the remote controller # 34277742, the install kit # 342GPDCKIT4, and the solal power controller # 34276119, the # 2 of the part # 34267040, 2 of the # 34267049, and # 34273843REVA.

  • Can 24 Volt Inverter be Used With 12 Volt System
If you have a 12V system on your trailer you will need to use an inverter rated for 12V such as the Go Power Heavy-Duty Modified Sine Wave Inverter - 12V # 34280178. You would not be able to use an inverter rated for a 24V system like the Go Power Pure Sine Wave Inverter - 24V # 34279953. I have added a cutout of the instructions for this unit which details that.
