Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the Valterra straight hose adapter. This hose adapter makes it easier to connect the sewer hose to a thread sewer pipe. Your three inch sewer hose slides onto the hose adapter and then the hose secures to the adapter with a hose clamp. Hose clamps are sold separately and available at etrailer.com. The threaded end threads onto the sewer system pipe. This is an MPT, which stands for male pipe thread.
The measurements real quick, right here on the hose end, that gives us an outer diameter of three inches. Here on the threaded end we have an inner diameter of three inches. Then from edge to edge, outer diameter is around three-and-a-half inches. The unit is made from a durable plastic construction and it's black in color.
