Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and we're going to be taking a quick look at the Valterra sewer hose carrier for your RV. This gives you a nice place to stash those sewer hoses rather than them being in a compartment and gumming up any kind of other equipment that you might have in there. Gives them a dedicated spot underneath your RV, out of the way so you don't really have to worry about them.And also the nice thing about these is that they're adjustable. So you can expand this out as much as you need to, or have it really nice and compact. So really just depends on the size of your RV or your camper that you're using this with and how you want to mount it.
It does come with the hardware to do that, you'll get several self-tapping screws, so some bigger screws there to go on the frame of your vehicle and help to hold those down. So there's going to be one at each point there. Can be two brackets, one on either end, and then two holes.So the end of this hose carrier is a threaded end. So it's really easy to just open that out .. Or not threaded, but it's kind of just a little quarter turn, so it's got those little tabs that hold it in place.
And then it has a tether to make sure that you don't lose that cap. So very nice that they include that.And then you'll notice this little tab on the side. You can get that to line up with the other tabs so you can lock it and make sure that nobody takes your stuff. Get that to lock in place. Since it's not mounted, it just kind of wants to hang out here, or a turn inside the tube.
There we go. But if you lock it in place, you can get that to match up with one of those other tabs and then put a little padlock on there. Same thing for the other end, exact same style.So this adjusts from thirty four inches at the smallest, all the way out to sixty inches wide. The inner diameter of the tube is four and a half inches, the outer diameter is five inches. Our mounting brackets are six inches across by one and an eighth inch wide.
And the mounting holes center to center are five and a quarter inch.It is covered by a one-year warranty and that's pretty much all there is to it for our look at the Valterra sewer hose carrier. Great product and fast delivery. I had to be creative attaching it to my trailer as I have no rear bumper. I attached it under the side right next to my sewer drain, very convenient. Used the metal floor support to attach. Much better than keeping it in a container and saves storage space. Highly recommended!
I love the sewer hose carrier. I mounted it under the bays on the undercarriage of my RV. It cleared space in my bay, can’t be see , and is odor free.

I own a 17 ft Casita and this product compliments it perfectly! It is light yet strong and stores my hoses better than the bumper does.
