Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this 15 foot long stick on rubber wiper seal with the track for your RV slide out. Now this rubber RV slide out seal is used to prevent water and pests from getting into your living area in your RV. This part here is ideal for the 2010 Big Horn by Heartland fifth wheel and other RVs. Basically if you look on the seal, it has this integrated track right here which will create an installation point for your bulb seal to slide onto to help weatherproof your slide when it's closed. And this is compatible with the one inch and 1 3/16 inch channel bulb seals that we do sell separately on our website.
They are listed on this product page as a related product. Those seals will go by part number SR74FR and SR57FR. On this end here you might be able to see they have this ball tip wiper. Gives an improved wiper action and wiper flip during the extension or retraction of the RV slide out box. And this is made of an EPDM dense rubber construction so it won't shrink, crack, or fade over time.
It is resistant to UV damage and it is peel and stick installation. You can see this pre-applied adhesive backing right here. All you have to do is peel off that backing tape and then apply the seal to your RV frame surrounding the slide out. You can use scissors to trim any extra seal if need be. Dimensions again.
Total length on this is 15 feet. The width on it is right at 2 1/2 inches wide and this part is made in the USA. But that should do it for the review on this 15 foot long stick on rubber wiper seal with the track for your RV slide up.

Easy installation with peel-and-stick adhesive.I wasn't sure this product would work for me because it wasn't the exact size that I needed but knew I could trim it to the proper size. I got it to replace the weather seals on our travel trailer slide out. The new weather seals were much heavier duty than the originals. You must make sure the residue from the adhesive on original seals is completely removed and the area cleaned with alcohol. looks good and they work as intended. Very pleased with the results. These will last for the rest of the life of the trailer.
The wiper seal was easy to customize (I had to make 2 cuts to accomadate the sldeout rail). It was also easy to install.
Product still working as intended after 1 year.
These seals were the exact replacement for the original ones and are well made.
I bought these wiper seals for my cedar creek fifth wheel. After installation I tried to slide my slides in and they tried to cock from one done to the other and did not come in smoothly or completely. These are made out of a different type of rubber that is very stiff so they don’t fold into the slide while moving slide in. I am out the price of a 30’ roll and cannot return because I used part of it. Beware of Steele wiper seals

Wiper seal was a good product but did not work on my slide. The seal was too thick and would not fold under when retracting my slide. I had to discard it and go another direction
I used the wiper seal for the horizontal seal (top) on my slide out that is 13 ft long on my cedar creek fifth wheel.
The rubber is so stiff it won’t flex and move properly when the slide is brought in. It is supposed to fold into the slide when the room is brought in for travel and prevents the slide from tiltin in at the top. Because I installed this seal I cannot get my money back. Not very happy.

Purchased this item and SR79FR Bulb Seal for my 2011 Outdoors RV Wind River 2702BS. These items were a perfect match to the original and pretty easy to install. The bulb seal was a little more difficult than the wiper seal. Helpful hint clean out the rail that the bulb seal slides or pops into. I was surprised at the amount of dirt and build up inside the track. I used a little white grease in the track and it made popping the bulb seal in much easy. The wiper seal just clips over the metal flange. I used a rubber mallet and small block of wood to make sure the c-clip sealed on the flange. A great product from Steele Rubber Products and great service and price from Etrailer.
