Jeff Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this 30-foot-long stick-on rubber wiper seal for your RV slide-out. Now I do wanna zoom in just to show you the cutaway or cross section of the seal itself. This is a rubber wiper seal with a track right here and it's used to prevent water from leaking into your slide-out on your RV. The wiper seal flexes in or out, depending upon how the slide is moving. This is ideal for the 2010 Big Horn by Hartman fifth wheels and other RVs.
Now this is compatible with the C-channel bulb seals, which we sell separately. Those bulb seals will slide right onto this track and they'll seal against the RV when the slide-out is closed. As I mentioned, we do sell them separately. They use part number SR84FR, or the SR37FR. And again, they're sold separately and they're usually listed on this product page as a related product.
Now, the rubber on this is highly wear- and weather-resistant. It'll protect the RV from extreme weather in the pest. And if you notice on the bottom, it is a peel and stick installation, has a nice pre-applied 3M adhesive backing. You just simply peel off the backing paper, and then apply the seal to the RV frame surrounding the slide-out. Dimensions on this, again, we mentioned it is 30 feet in length.
The overall width on the seal from one end to the other is two 1/2 inches wide, and this seal is made in the USA. But that should do it for the review on this 30-foot-long stick-on rubber wiper seal for your RV slide-out..

If you're having trouble finding just the right weather stripping for your RV slide out, this will get you a custom fit. This wiper includes a track for a C-channel bulb seal in the height you need. Easy installation with peel-and-stick adhesive.I bought these wiper seals for my cedar creek fifth wheel. After installation I tried to slide my slides in and they tried to cock from one done to the other and did not come in smoothly or completely. These are made out of a different type of rubber that is very stiff so they don’t fold into the slide while moving slide in. I am out the price of a 30’ roll and cannot return because I used part of it. Beware of Steele wiper seals
I replaced one of my slide wipers with this product. The original seal had deteriorated and turned to goo. It was the original seal from 2013 and was made by AP Products which was used by Forest River. This seal appears more sturdy and was easy to cut and install. We will have to see how it performs over the original.
These are very thick and stiff. I am having trouble with getting these to wipe back and forth with slide opening and closing.

I contacted the manufacturer about this and here are a few tips from them for optimal application. When applying any of our peel n stick products using ThreeMs all weather adhesive tape, it is necessary to thoroughly prep the surface. All dirt, oil, grime, previous adhesive has to be removed. Squeaky clean. The tape, when applied, should be applied within a specific range. This is what ThreeM recommends Optimum application temperature is fifteen degrees Celsius through forty degrees Celsius or sixty through one hundred and four degrees Fahrenheit . The temperature difference between the parts to be bonded and the bonding surface should be as small as possible. In order to achieve the optimum adhesion level, the minimum requirement is that both part and body surface should be in the optimum application temperature range. Finally, after applying the taped product to a clean surface, within the recommended temp range, even though it is a tape, ThreeM does recommend a Cure Time. Especially for weather stripping that will experience sheering forces, like wiper seals. It is best to think of the all weather tape as a glue or cement in tape form. The shortest time recommended is one hr. through a full day twenty four hrs. is optimal.
Very easy to install. Hardest part was of course the prep work.
Product is as ordered, communication is excellent.
Great quality
Great product
Very good service. Little difficult to install while on the road but seal is working well and appreciate shipping to the RV park.
Perfect fit! As usual, E-trailer had what I needed at a good price, very fast shipping!!! Reason why I buy all my trailer parts from them, makes it easy to keep my customers happy.
Hi, George: The rubber seal for my slide-out that you ordered for me worked-out just fine giving the slide-out a tight seal to keep rain out. Thanks, again, for such good customer service & even checking back after a year to see if I was satisfied.
Wiper seal was a good product but did not work on my slide. The seal was too thick and would not fold under when retracting my slide. I had to discard it and go another direction
I used the wiper seal for the horizontal seal (top) on my slide out that is 13 ft long on my cedar creek fifth wheel.
The rubber is so stiff it won’t flex and move properly when the slide is brought in. It is supposed to fold into the slide when the room is brought in for travel and prevents the slide from tiltin in at the top. Because I installed this seal I cannot get my money back. Not very happy.
You sent us 2 seals were wrong but it was our fault. Then we just got the correct seal today and postal delivery was 14 days. Your accepting the wrong parts and returns went well. Now with warm weather we can proceed with the fix. Thanks for your help.

I hope it's not that it's too thick, but instead just sticking when trying to slide the slide. I'm thinking that it may just be sticking, which Tire Talc, which is just pure talcum powder may be the way to go. If you apply some to a rag and wipe it on the surfaces of the seal that slide on the side of the trailer, then it should help keep the rubber from sticking when sliding in and out. Now, don't go rummaging through the nursery for baby powder, thinking that it will work. Contrary to popular belief, baby powder is no longer guaranteed to use pure talcum powder. Some body powders have replaced talcum powder with cornstarch; so I'd say just stick with the tire talc.
