Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at this Rubber Bulb Seal for your RV's Slide Out. This seal prevents water from leaking into your slide out on your RV. This will slide into the track that is on the inside edge of your slide-out wall. When it closes, it will seal against the camper wall or the slide-out wiper when the slide-out is fully retracted and it's gonna give you a nice tight seal there.
You can see this is gonna provide plenty of surface contact has this flattens out. It gets wider so that you'll have lots of contact there to make sure that the seal is gonna be sufficient or keeping out any water or pests. It's also going to prevent collapse. So, even if we squeeze it beyond flat, it will pop right back out so it's gonna be very durable for you. This is commonly paired with a wiper seal on your slide-out.
This will work with the two part numbers that you see on the screen there. So depending on your setup, your RV, one of those should work for you, work with this to make sure that water is going to stay out of your RV so you don't have to worry about mold and that sort of thing being brought into your RV where it can cause damage. So as far as our measurements go, this is right about 3/4 of an inch wide. When I measure the height, measure it at just over an inch, call it an inch and an eighth overall and then we are going to get 30 feet of the seal. So it should do a great job of wrapping around your entire slide out so that you have plenty of a connection there and plenty of seal to keep out that water or pests.
Now, there are other options available here etrailer.com. So, if this isn't exactly the kind of seal that you need, I would encourage you to check out some of those other options. Make sure that you're getting the one that's going to fit for your RV but this is made here in the USA. So far, so good! Definitely much better than the original installed on the coach. It’s a bit tricky pushing it through the grooved track, especially if it’s a longer slide out. You have to push it then pull it from the other side. Some silicone sprayed in the track helps.
Overall, easy to install with the exception of the top piece, as I didn't want to undo the slide shade. Seal works well with no problems. Thanks!
Well unfortunately I ordered the wrong seal and the one I needed was not available except through the manufacturer website but that one is working fine
Purchased this item and SR47ZR Wiper Seal for my 2011 Outdoors RV Wind River 2702BS. These items were a perfect match to the original and pretty easy to install. The bulb seal was a little more difficult than the wiper seal. Helpful hint clean out the rail that the bulb seal slides or pops into. I was surprised at the amount of dirt and build up inside the track. I used a little white grease in the track and it made popping the bulb seal in much easy. The wiper seal just clips over the metal flange. I used a rubber mallet and small block of wood to make sure the c-clip sealed on the flange. A great product from Steele Rubber Products and great service and price from Etrailer.
Quick shipping. Winter is on our door step so time is important to get the seal and install it. The bulb seal was easy to install and I was impressed with the quality of the rubber.
Part came in exactly as advertised, shipping was very quick (order was placed on Sunday, parts were in my hand on Tuesday). Company sent several emails to let me know status of order. Website was easy to navigate and find part I was looking for. Due to positive experience I will continue to deal with etrailer!

They look great when they ship to you but after 2 mths in the heat and cold, the slides stick to them like glue and pull them off the track channel. No amount of different lubes seem to help. WD40, nope, Axle grease (moly type), Nope, even a lard based oily lube would not stop them from sticking. The slide was cleaned with alcohol and thinners to get any debris off and them lubed as well and they still stuck. I spent more time trying to get them back in the track on a garbage can in the RV parks than they spent on the trailer driving down the highway. Would I get them again, probably cause that's all thats out there.
This slide out seal worked perfectly. Had the seals changed in less then a half hour.
Seal don’t react to slide because of the rubber is too stiff. Slide won’t come in properly. I am out the cost of a 30’ roll.
Beware of steels rubber wiper seals
The items were on back order, eTrailer notified me of this and gave me the new delivery date that was only a few days longer then original. Very happy with the service.
Easy to install, dimensions on the website were accurate. Seems to be holding up a year later with no issues.
The seal was a little tricky to get on , but once installed it was perfect. I would definitely recommend these to anyone.

Great quality product easy to install
This worked great, should have bought first. Don’t waste your time with the D channel seals on [online vendor]. The lips that go into the channel are so thin and flimsy that the seal keeps popping out. This seal from Etrailer is much stiffer and works great. I installed it by myself but two people would have been nice - one to slowly push the seal on and make sure it stays on the channel and the other person to slowly pull it across the length of the slide. Regardless, it’s a pretty easy install and saves you several hundred dollars vs having the dealership do it.
From ordering ,shipping and installation everything went really smooth. My son and I put. On new wiper and bulb seal with no problems. Seal seem to be of better quality than original seals. Will use etrailer again Thanks for a trouble free experience
Just what i needed. Fits perfect.
Used it in a 2019 Salem forest river slide out, this is the closest thing I could find, slips over the scraper channel but seems a little loose, I hope it works out..
