Image Descriptor

Induction cooktops offer fast and efficient cooking for RV kitchens. This is because there isn't an open flame, which prevents the heat loss you would experience with propane cooktops. Since your food cooks quicker, you're able to get back to enjoying your adventure sooner. They are also safe, energy efficient, easy to clean, and because of their size, they're also perfect for small RV kitchens.

Power Sharing Dual Burners

Image Descriptor

This cooktop utilizes heat balancing, or power sharing, to maintain consistent temperatures and allow for more uniform cooking. The 2 burners share the power used by the cooktop to balance out how much heat goes to each burner to prevent overheating. This means that there are a total of 10 heat levels for the entire cooktop, and a single burner used by itself can be set to a maximum of level 10. But when using both burners, the combined heat level cannot exceed 10. If one burner is increased from level 5 to level 6, the second burner will decrease from level 5 to level 4, keeping an even maximum heat level of 10 across both burners.

Safety Features

Image Descriptor

Safety features are built right into this cooktop to protect you and your family. These features include the hot surface indicator, child safety lock, and the auto shut-off function - all designed to maximize safety.

The cooking surface of induction stoves don't heat up, so there isn't a way to know if the burner is on unless an induction-compatible pot is placed on top. Once this happens, the burners illuminate and get brighter or dimmer when you adjust the heat settings. This gives the impression of heat, even though you can't feel it if you place your hand on the surface.

The child safety lock prevents anyone from accidentally turning on the cooktop and burning themselves. When you press the up and down arrow buttons at the same time, the indicator light will come on and the cooktop will lock, allowing you to limit who uses the power button. Pressing the up and down arrow buttons again will unlock the cooktop and the indicator light will go off.

The auto shut-off feature ensures that even if someone accidentally leaves the cooktop on, it will automatically shut down after 2 hours. The only exception is if you program the timer for longer than 2 hours for a warm pot of chili during those cooler seasons.

Compatible Cookware and Accessories

Induction cooktops are not compatible with all types of cookware. To work effectively, the cookware must have a magnetic bottom that can interact with induction coils in the burners. Magnetic pots and pans are the best option for induction cooking. If you are unsure if your cookware is magnetic, place a magnet on the bottom of the pot or pan, and if it sticks, that cookware will work with your induction cooktop. Incompatible cookware and accessories can potentially damage the cooktop, so it is best to check all pots and pans before using them for best results.

Great adddition to our RV. We wanted to move away from propane. Cook top works very well. The controls can be fussy at times.

by:

I haven't used it yet, but I recessed it into a new granite counter top in our motor-home. I looks very nice and has a neoprene sponge stripping under the top around the edges so as to not rattle on the counter top when were driving. It gives an old counter top a modern look. My wife has never used the oven in the 10 years we've had the motor home so we took out the gas stove and oven,

It looks great just got it cut into the countertop! Can’t wait to start cooking with it!

This product is a fraud. The product you'll receive DOES NOT FUNCTION like their description. The supplier has changed out the complete unit except the top glass. Yet etrailer continues to market the prior unit. The unit you'll get DOES NOT:
- have 4 rubber feet for stanadlone use. There isn't even a place to put them on the bottom of the unit
- have a working Temperature function. Yes, you can set the temp but it is totally ignored. The unit runs at one power level in temperature mode no matter where you set it. 120 degrees boils water because the power mode it goes to is way hotter than that.

I have tried in vane for 6+ months to get etrailer to just pull a unit off the shelf and test it. They claim they will, then never do it. They have not attempted to get the supplier to fix the problems, nor updated this description.

DO NOT buy this unit if you expect to have either of these features. You won't get them.

Very disappointed in etrailer in their total blind indifference on this issue when they have had it pointed out to them numerous times. I waited to write this review giving them time to resolve the issue. The have not. Worse yet, they send me an email asking for my feedback on the product. So here it is.

All they do is offer to return the unit. That leaves me even more hosed I already had a hole cut in my counter top for this unit. I'm now hosed as all I can do is use it in Power mode and not remove it for exterior use on rubber feet. If I could give this a rating of -10 I would.

We hate to see this when it comes to the products that we sell. I have sent this information over to our customer service team for them to contact you.

Quick delivery in a few days. The stove will replace the propane stove on our Tiffin Motorhome. This item is as described. Although not as powerful as our home 220v unit it works well and boils water faster than our built in propane stove. It also has the option to set power based on watts used. This is useful when using the stove while power is supplied by the inverter too monitor battery consumption.

The Induction cooktop has been great. No more propane smell Or the humidity it can create. And the flat surface increases counter space when not in use.

by:

Use it on our boat, works great at the dock and at anchor with our generator. Just what we needed and built in easily.

by:

The Inductive Cook Stove is working great. The two burners are very nice. Starts to boil water in under 120 seconds.

by:

Cooktop arrived on time and was packaged extremely well. Easy to install and works great!

by:

I like the safety features but wish it could cook lower than 300 degrees.
