This product saved our toyhauler from going up in smoke ! While Glamping at our friends ranch in Colorado in June of '22 , Lightning struck their main power pole supplying power to the 40 acer property . Our RV was about an eighth of a mile from from the pole . The BOOM and SIZZLE sounds were like none other ! Scared the shizzle out of us ! After the power company restored the service , hit the breaker and the power was back on , no issues . Thank You to our Watchdog !

David - 11/20/2022Rating is for etrailer, not the Watchdog as I won't be using till January. Communication was beyond a 5 star rating. Never have I had the communication I experienced with this purchase from placing the order to delivery. The Watchdog was priced competively, box undamaged upon delivery, now just waiting to travel to our snowbird destination so I can start using it.
Vince - 11/11/2022We used the surge protector for approximately 3 months over the past year. Having the ability to confirm the electricity provided by the campground will not damage my onboard equipment is priceless. The power watchdog is the first thing that gets hooked up when we stop, then I turn on the breaker and look to see if it lights up white for normal conditions or red for a faulty condition. If it is red I request another spot.
I have most of what I need for my RV but when I do need something I go to people who have good products stand by them and are trust worthy and care about there customers.

Rick M - 08/30/2022Works quite well. Easy to see if something is wrong with the electrical source or use. The dog face turns from white(everything is good) to red if there is something wrong. Turns off power going to my trailer if there is something wrong. Saves my trailer!
So far, so good! We have had a few power disruptions and the Power Watchdog has protected our trailer from possible spiking/low voltage. It comes right back on as it should when power is restored. The only negative is the bright "dog face" on the unit, and the company does offer a sticker which will cover this up. I'll probably just use some tape.

Watchdog works better than I expected. Nice to be able to check on power situation while sitting in the rv. Again, e-trailer was great. Product arrived 2 days after ordering. Great price, great service.
Has saved our bacon at least once when we got a power surge following a power outage. Being able to reset the device remotely is a nice feature and even better is the the ability to simply replace the surge board rather then the entire surge protector itself. Who wants to spend all that money for a one-time use surge protector. Spend the extra $$ and get this one, your future self will thank you.
I wouldn't plug my rig into a pedestal without having this on first. Traveling full time we've run across some pretty sketchy campground power and thankfully Watchdog hasn't let us down yet.
I love my surge protector. I know all my most valuable electronics are well Protected because of the Watchdog. I would highly recommend this device to anyone who cares about safety and security of their rv

As others have mentioned, some power poles out there make you suspicious about plugging in. However, I know my rig will be safe with the Watchdog surge protector.
A year is gone by and the protector is up and running like it's nothing. It has save me from a lot of headaches and it paid by itself by now. Great product. Best purchase I have made. Customer support is awesome. Thank you for checking back on me after a year.
