How to Measure Your TV for VESA Mounting Patterns
VESA is an industry standard for measurements given in millimeters used to mount TVs. Most modern TVs use this standard, but you need to know your TV's mounting pattern to select the correct mount. To find this pattern, use a ruler to measure the distance between mounting holes on the back. You can measure in centimeters, keeping in mind that 10cm equals 100mm.
This diagram illustrates the compatible VESA mounting patterns of this RV TV mount:
If your TV's mounting pattern requires a different configuration, you can use one of MORryde's TV mount adapter plates (sold separately) to get the right fit. The plates are installed on the mount to adapt for TVs that call for a 200 mm x 200 mm, 300mm x 300mm, or 400mm x 400mm VESA pattern. Be mindful of the mount's weight limitations.

Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this MORryde portable TV wall mount kit. This kit is going to provide a bracket that will attach to your television. This is going to fit onto your TVs with a VESA mounting pattern, of 75 millimeters by 75 millimeters, or 100 millimeters by 100 millimeters. So this is gonna sit on the back of your TV.
And then this is also going to provide two of these wall mount brackets. So you'll get these put in on your wall, attached to your wall, and then you'll be able to easily slide the TV into one bracket. Or if you're wanting to move it to another room, wherever you have the other bracket you'll be able to slide it into that one. So you'll have two different mounting locations that you can put your TV in. I will say there is a major difference between these two mounting locations.
So when you have this one mounted on the wall you slide your TV in there. It is just gonna be flat up against the wall. You're not gonna have much room there for cables or anything. It's not gonna tilt or swivel for you. So it is basically just a wall mount there.
It is gonna be nice and sturdy for you, but you don't get much adjustability there. With our other mount, this piece is going to attach to the wall. And then when we slide our TV in, we'll have two pivot points that we can adjust the angle of our TV. It's going to extend it out farther so that we have all a whole lot of room to move this around and adjust it. So if you have a larger room like your living room area, that you're wanting your TV to be mounted and give you lots of different options as far as adjustability for great viewing angle.
This is gonna be a great bracket for you. If you have limited room, maybe back in your bedroom area this might be the best option for you there. So whatever your set up is so we'll give you several different ways to mount your TV. Very easy to move from one to the other. I would recommend, depending on your situation maybe consider this other MORryde mount that is going to have this pivot arm permanently connected to the TV. And then you just slide the arm between two different mounts like this so that you can have that functionality and variability in the angle in both locations. But of course that is gonna require a little bit more room in both locations. So just keep in mind, whatever is best for your situation. If you want to have that pivoting functionality in both locations, the part number that you see on the screen, there is gonna be a great option for you. If you're just needing that pivoting functionality in one location, this is gonna be the kit that you need. They are gonna include hardware for you to get your TV mounted onto the bracket. Now, the mounting hardware for your wall brackets is not included. You'll have to provide that yourself to make sure that that is gonna stay in place. But as I said, this will work with TVs that have those vessel patterns. Those two that I mentioned before you are gonna be limited to 25 pounds. That's how much the brackets can hold. They are gonna be very easy to get installed and gonna work well for you. If you are needing that pivoting feature in the one and a static feature in the other as far as our measurements go, our mounting bracket that's gonna mount on the back of our TV. It's right at four and three quarters of an inch wide and four and three quarters of an inch tall. Our swivel bracket here is going to take up more room than our wall mount bracket will. So this, when we have it fully extended put our TV owning bracket in there. Now this is gonna have the same max width because of our TV mounting bracket. So four and three quarters wide our tallest part is gonna be this back bracket here and that's right at six and a half inches tall. And then our depth from the front of our TV mounting bracket back to that looking at right about 10 and a half inches. So it gives you a little bit of adjustability there and bring it closer to you but you can also adjust that to the side if you don't want it to be as close and that sort of thing. So lots of different adjustability is what these two pivot points on our arm will make it much easier for us to line our TV up in the best view in angle for us. Now, this kit is made here in the USA so you can trust it's made to the high quality standards that we've come to know and trust for products that are made here in the U S and I will say, wherever you mount these brackets you do want to make sure that it's gonna be able to withstand the weight of the bracket and your TV. Again, TV is gonna have a max weight capacity of 25 pounds. So it shouldn't be a whole lot but you just want to make sure that you're gonna mount it somewhere where the wall will support that weight. And it's not gonna pull out or anything like that. So, overall, this is gonna be a really nice option. Like I said, for certain situations where you want to have that adjustability in one room and flat up against the wall and the other room, personally, myself I prefer that other option where you have that adjustability in both locations, but it's totally up to you and your situation. So that's gonna complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..

This mount is exactly what I was looking for! in our RV, I intend to replace an old CRT TV that is enclosed in a cabinet, with a flat screen TV. This mount will securely hold the new TV, yet allow me to extend it from the cabinet, and swivel and tilt as necessary. I can't ask for more!
